jakeblade;684504 Wrote: Ok, I returned my Radio back in November and, after going missing in the post for 2 months (thank you Parcel Farce!), I have a replacement. And it works perfectly. No dropouts at all, even though my wifi router is even further away now than before. Logitech turned it round within 2 days once they after receiving the faulty one - although they did then send the replacement to the wrong address! Very interesting this Jake, mine has been fine since setting up a wap for sole use by the radio, but then again it worked fine connected to my main system for 12 months or so before I experienced problems. Warranty is 2 years so will keep an eye on it, I still think it's a software issue as you say it's not just HH3 it fails with. -- wonder boy 2 Booms, 1 radio, a touch and an SB3...think that's enough? wonder boy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15950 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91387 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Yes - just found it on their site. My 2 years was up in October 2011. Not far off but I doubt they'd be willing to honor the warranty. -- twynne 1 SB Touch, 2 x Booms, 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Radio twynne's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1326 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89900 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Check your credit card used for the purchase, it may include Buyers Protection extending the mfr warranty up to one additional year (giving you till Oct 2012). -- toby10 toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89900 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately my card only gives me 90 days purchase protection - no extended warranty. For the time being I've managed to stabilise my setup by adding an access point in the same room using a spare router. It's massive overkill, but it works. -- twynne 1 SB Touch, 2 x Booms, 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Radio twynne's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1326 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89900 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Weird Network Issues
What should not be underestimated is the effects neighbouring networks have. Just tonight I had to change the WLan channel on my router to 7 as the neighbouring network on 7 was not visible by the router but very well by the SBR (they are three rooms apart). After the change the radio was working fabiously. It would be interestingto know what signal strength is reported. And addisionally if other networks are interfering. -- th00ht Ripping: 'EAC (free and great)' (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/), Tagging: 'TagRename (not free but the best)' (http://www.softpointer.com/) Squeezebox Server 7.7.0 - r33614 / Arch64 Squeezebox Classic, Quad 303 (where can I get new caps?) + two Quad ESL 63 Squeezebox Touch, Denon AVR 1912 (Pure Direct) + two CM8 + two CM1 + CMC Squeezebox Radio 'last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/th00ht) 'SoS' (http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/Society_of_Sound/Society_of_Sound/Music/download-manager.html) 'linn' ( http://www.linn.co.uk/music) th00ht's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15656 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91387 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] 7.6.1 r9482 has messed up my SB Radio
I've also noticed in the last couple of weeks my SB Radio has been a pain. I walked in the room the other day and it disconnected then reconnected to the network (wired) while my other devices were ok. I usually get the alarm twice in the morning lately, the first is some canned music which I didn't selected, after turning it off I get another alarm with my selected station. I often walk in and it is on my station but is stopped, I need to press the play button to get it to go, I never use these buttons normally. My SB Touch and AR Internet radio are not showing the same issues. -- sckeith sckeith's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42383 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89900 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Radio wifi problems-MEGATHREAD!
Ok, so I reset the Radio using the menu option and reconfigured the network settings including encryption key, etc. The unit continued to have problems. I then reset it by unplugging it, turning it off and then powering it on why holding down the + button. Not sure if that reset technique does anything different but after reseting the unit this way and reconfiguring the network, things have been good for nearly a week now. Fingers crossed it is good now and there was some gremlin in the code somwhere. Weird but so far so good. -- jwagner010 jwagner010's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29405 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92597 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
[SlimDevices: Radio] snooze/sleep failing?
I have an alarm set for 6:05 am, every weekday. The alarm is a simple playlist on my LMS machine. At 6:05 it goes off and I snooze it via a knob push. 9 minutes later, it comes back on, I snooze it via a knob push. That's it, the alarm shuts itself off sometime in the second snooze. I am not spinning the knob when I snooze it (i.e. I am definitely snoozing when I push the button), I have the radio alarm set to timeout after 1 hour. Any thoughts on why it might be doing this? I watched it this morning do it, and I was fully awake, so I can't blame it on a sleepy mind.
