state the cables should also be the same length.

Ck the current “solar access” laws,  I haven’t felt with that in years, but
when we did a lot of residential solar there were laws, at least in
California that prohibited HOA’s from doing that.

Agree with Jay and adding they are too small in capacity. Even the
Discover at 6.6kwh is on the edge. However, as Jay said, they do talk with
each other and have a mode where they will work with Outback and Magnum.
They are the cats meow on a Schneider system as there is not much to

Hey Howie,

I would recommend staying away from them as well, I had a 
faulty battery out of the box and it was a nightmare to get them to warranty 
it, took about 2 months of back and forth for them to agree to warranty the 
battery. Discover has an excellent YouTube video on the breakdown of the 
internals theirs vs. the competitor and it’s pretty eye opening.

Came across an older DIY 24v off-grid system. Looking to replace current AGM  
SunXtender batteries with less then 4 years on them but severely abused. Client 
won't go for my normal Rolls/Surrette because they are very sensitive to 
smells. 

 

Thus I was considering LiFePo4 batteries however I'm having difficulties 
locating them in a 24v bank. If you know of anyone that goes that way please 
let me know.

 

So if I'm stuck with AGM's stored indoors what brand would you suggest for a 
heavy usage (1,500 Ahrs +) home?

Jerry,
I'm looking at all the lithium options out there for an application
phycisist client who wants a lithium backup system. Can you elaborate on
why Simplify is slow low on your list?
