Send me anything you can and I'll get it sent out ok. I can and

I tend to break large manual scans into two parts... makes for

Ok-I'll have to try to re-send that from home. I'm in the process of
trying to upgrade the hard drive, and it's not going well.

It doesn't appear so. The name of the company was Solid-State
Communications, Inc. But the one that comes up in Google (in KS) is NOT
the same company. They were originally in Hayward, CA., so it looks like
they're out of business.

But yes, I'm about 99.99% sure that it's a tone or DC remote, or an
extended local interface, or something on that order. They didn't make a
repeater controller that I ever saw.

Good news is you should be able to just yank it without consequence.
Probably...

Solid State Communications was in Hayward California. They are
now out of business. I've been told Comm Spec bought them out.

They made some really nice products... all great designes and well
thought out. Comm Spec was supposed to carry on with some of their
digital stuff and Norcom has near clone circuits of their filter
units.

Funny you should mention the tone remote stuff... I just scanned
the SSC 831y tone remote manual into pdf and it's free to anyone
by simply contacting me direct (not through the group) for a copy.

You probably have the repeater/base remote end unit. I like to
find/obtain SSC products when and where possible.

If you are/were trying to replace the SSC remote units... Companies
like Vega and CPI offer similar units as current products.

BTW-did you get the ST-822 book OK? I expect to get those boxed and out
the door this week, got 'em cleaned up and powered up-they all came up
the way I would expect them to after sitting for so long...

Mike, Scott, or Kevin-do you want the book for these for RB? Selectone
ST-822, it's an old DTMF ANI decoder box/display.
I got it pdf, but it's big, I had trouble sending it to Skip. Most
servers didn't want to send it.

  Hello all,

Does anyone have a manual or information on an SSC 836AA
repeater controller? It also has the following on the PCB:
T-A2-1761-4 if it makes any difference...

Was this in the Tait station you mentioned? I ask because I think
this
is not a repeater controller, but a tone or DC remote panel.

SSC did make various remotes, not sure if they're still around or
not.
And I remember 836AA was one of their model numbers for either a
tone or
 DC remote.
