I know this is getting off topic..but but but. I have about an acre of 80 to 100 ft tall tulip trees [poplar] right next to the house. They do hover up there a lot. Thompsons is the only finish on the house...doesn't slow em down a'tall. [They just make funny faces and keep on drilling..and I keep on filling with silicon. Muzzle blast from an emptied shotgun shell works good...costs too much and worries the neighbors if very frequent. They only play with thier machine guns now and then. [They have wood bees too?] That's cool. Weapon of mass destruction? Pressure washer. Cleans em right out of the sky. WD 40 does prevent the making of Mud Dobber nests [apartment buildings]. The mud doesn't stick. Ever been flipped off by a mud dobber? [Well? Go fill up a fuel line or air tool somewhere, turkey!] LOL PS Mud Dobbers are cool in some ways. They don't sting. See http://www.canismajor.com/dog/mange1.html There are different kinds of mange. All types are caused by various microscopic mites. This suggests parasite to me. Normally, CS cannot kill multi-celled organisms. However, this mite is microscopic. Perhaps it's small enough that the CS could kill it. I'd love to hear from some experienced dog people. CSDemodectic Mange [was CS works again]
It sounds very much like Demodectic Mange. It is caused by a mite that is on all dogs but due to immune deficiency some dogs can not keep under control. It is common to see a bit in young dogs whose immune systems are still maturing but whose maternal antibodies have fallen off. It is also know as the Red Mange. Severely impaired dogs may show it at 6-8 weeks and some do not recover. It is very interesting if it is Demodex and CS controls it. Although it can be difficult to isolate by skin scraping, because it burrows deep into the skin and subdermis, this is one way to confirm. The other is by physical exam and medical history, which is how most astute vets will diagnose it. The not so astute resort to steroids. There are dips for it but they are very liver toxic, be very careful if you decide to go this route. Ivermectin also kills the mite and is used off label by some vets for the difficult cases orally and topically. Do not do this without knowing how much is too much as ten times the therapeutic dose, or in collie breeds even less, will cross the Blood Brain Barrier and kill the dog. The other mange mite is Sarcoptic Mite and is easier to kill, it is generally a different pattern though and a bit easier to detect on skin scraping but both can easily be missed. Mites are not insects but Arthropods and harder to kill than insects. Old remedies included smothering them by coating the dog with old motor oil. yikes But if the dog survived sometimes it worked. The features of Demodex are the hairlessness around the eyes and the red rash on her belly and legs. It is usually more symmetrical and Sarcoptic is more on the body, generally, asymmetrical. If you do decide to get a skin scraping to confirm this and CS continues to control it please post this to the list under a subject heading of Mange so it is easily searchable. Steroids are not at all useful and in fact will suppress her immunity even further. How old is she? Does she have any reason to be immune suppressed? Is she inbred? Stressed or have other physical or environmental immune suppressors? I have seen this in a whole litter of inbred puppies starting with the hair loss around the eyes are 6 weeks of age. If I can be of further help please feel free to email me privately if you wish. Good Luck! CSCan anyone comment on this method. what is a good tester?
Hi folks, well I have gotten all the material and am ready to take the plunge. I am borderline type II diabetic and have a small foot infection. here is what I am going to use to make the CS. 1. Buy a 6 volt DC transformer for about 5 clams. Better yet, pick up one at a flea market for fifty cents. The current doesn't matter as this method uses less than one ma. Regarding the size of the little wall transformer, Radio Shack has 300 ma. and 800 ma. The maximum current our process uses is 1/2 ma. so any will do just fine. We are beginning to receive many reports of efficacy for all kinds of problems. There is no down side risk in these concentrations. One can use four 1.5 volt flashlight batteries in series. They will last a long time. 2. Clip the connector off the end of the wire. 3. Get two alligator clips from Radio Shack for a buck. 4. Carefully separate the two wires. Strip the insulation off for about 1 inch. 5. Connect each lead to the clip. 6. You need two electrodes. Don't waste $15.00 for 1/4 oz. pieces of silver wire. Go to a any coin store and buy two Canadian Maple Leafs for about $6.50 ea. Each has 1.2 oz. of . pure silver, enough to make more CS than you will ever use. 7. Buy a gallon of distilled water for about seventy cents. 8. Buy a tiny fish tank bubbler machine for about eight bucks. They will have the neoprene tubing as well. You will need about two feet. 9. Be sure the coin is squeaky clean. Clamp them to opposite sides of an 8 oz. glass of distilled water. 10. Place the tubing to the bottom of the glass. 11. Fill the glass with distilled water ONLY up to the bottom of the clips. One does not want the metal, from the clips, in contact with the water, only the coins. 12. Plug in the little transformer and oxygenation machine. 13. Run for about five hours. 14. Carefully remove the coins. There will be residue on them and you don't want that in the solution. For even more purity, use the neoprene tubing and siphon the solution into a clean glass/or plastic container. (In these parts a siphon hose is referred to as an Arkansas credit card.) 15. Keep the CS out of sunlight in an air tight bottle. 16. Clean the coins thoroughly preparing for the next batch. Now you have high quality CS in about 5 PPM. Some scoundrels claim their CS is 100-800 PPM. This is rubbish. At such concentrations the particles would agglomerate forming much larger particles. Basic chemistry. Last night I spoke with Frank Key, the scientist who owns the laboratory. He observed, You have stumbled on to a fine way to make CS. He did state that the potency would diminish over time and suggested that one make a new batch every fortnight. Considering that costs you nothing it makes sense. He said the secret was the low voltage and the fish pump. I thought it was due to more oxygen in the water. He stated it was because of the introduction of carbon dioxide, explaining in chemical terms which were over my head. The fish pump is 100% vital to the process. CSMemories of Apples
Morning JOH, Apples Material safety data sheet I have always thought highly of apples. When I was in my 20's and 30's I traveled every day. Often I drove 800 to 1000 miles per week. One week, I drove 2000 miles from Monday AM until Friday PM. The story about apples.. Somehow, I developed a case of diarrhea. This is bad enough when you are at home. On the road, something has to be done. So,.. I told myself, Something has to be done about this. I spotted a roadside fruit stand. Guess what I bought? One large bag of apples and one large bag of green peanuts.I hit the road and started alternating between munching an apple and eating green peanuts. Sure enough, the diarrhea stopped and I did not have to hunt a rest room for two days. Glory be ! Can anyone offer the theory? We would have to call that, Alternative Medicine. I have not a clue how I made the decision to use those two foods. During those years, I was a true workaholic. Some days I would leave the office at 5 PM, go home and change clothes, hit the road and do service calls all night. One memorable week, I did not go to bed from Monday AM until Thurs night at midnight. Was up at 3 AM and drove 100 miles for my first Friday call at 6 am. I proved beyond any doubt that the 3 old rules for good health, Sleep, Nutrition, and Exercise was not true. I always said Nutrition is # 1, #2, and #3. During that one week, I did not say I did not sleep all week. I would catch a nap on the desk or in my car, usually short ones. I think the key to my health during those years was the fact that I stopped at grocery stores for lunch instead of restaurants. I always keept protein tablets and desiccated liver tablets in my vehicle, as well as raw sunflower seeds. Too heck with regular food. That is what makes us sick and gives us diarrhea. During those years, I did some exercise such as lifting weights and running. Often, late at night, I would find a landmark, drive one mile, park my van and run to the landmark and back. I did a lot of things wrong during those years, but I must have done a few things right. I have beat the American odds by 10 million to one. Almost forgot, I have picked apples in commercial orchards in Wisconsin. My favorite apple, the Arkansas Black. Fantastic, it tastes like it has cinnamon and spice already embedded. This is a late ripening variety, and I would pick the remaining apples the night of the first freeze. My tree is now deceased. Wayne

In fact theory predicts that true CS will help prevent argyria if taken with silver compounds that would have caused it otherwise. But even if it did, it seems to me the choice between a gray horse and a dead horse should be easy to make. I would think that dressing the wound with cloth saturated with CS and changed fairly often would be a good start. Also the addition of some DMSO to the mix would also likely assist. Remember that preventing an infection by putting CS on a wound is only part of the story. The other part is that the ionic portion promotes healing without scaring by triggering injured cells, and cells in a blood clot to revert back to stem cells. Re: CSSilver In Horse Bandages
Yes MSM would be good for the pony. 2 Tablespoons twice a day, 4 T a day is not a high dose, if the effect is not enough with 2-4 go higher. Humans can take 2-8 grams a day so by weight a pony can take much more, probably 7 times that. It takes about a month to see an effect so be patient. I give it to my pony and horses. Seameal from www.solidgoldhealth.com is also excellent as well as Black Oil Sunflower seeds with the hull for trace minerals and macro minerals that are very important to health. Do not use the grey stripe seeds as the hulls are not water soluble fiber and not as good. Buy the BOSS for wild birds. Wal Mart has them for a good price in 25# bags. My jar of Su-Per MSM Ultra Pure from KVvet supply says 1 heaping scoop (jar is unopened so I don't know how big the scoop is) equals 10,000 mg MSM. Re: CSSilver In Horse Bandages
See MSM The Definitive guide for the reference dose for humans being between 2-8 grams a day. Under supervision 40-60 grams per day has been used in divided doses. And up to 200 g a day in IV use. for allergies the typical dose is 3-6 g. 60-500 mg/kg is referenced as an animal dose in horses and dogs. Also recommendations of 30 g per day in horses. The higher doses are split into two doses and fed with food. For a 600 lb pony the dosage based on the former would be 18-36 grams per day in two divided doses with feed. The author Stanley Jacob MD is the developer for DMSO use in organ transport and health. He and his partner Robert Hershler PhD developed MSM. The book is available from Amazon and summarizes the current research Cr 2003. My health took a huge leap forward when I had a root canal tooth removed from my mouth. It had been there 20 years and had a split root. I was put on the Wilson's syndrome protocol and did not need the supplementation. The first day it made me bounce off the walls at the lowest dose, also made the tooth blow out so I discovered that it was indeed making me toxic. CSOde: how to get rid of wood boring bumblebees!
This gets 'em every time! Identify live used holes during the day. Right after dark, shoot the holes full of Goof Off in a spray can. Listen for the buzz of death. Do this every year, it takes a while for all the descendants to stop coming to the same spot to spawn, not to mention that new ones prefer existing holes to breed in. And yes, the caulking gun is good to use on a dead hole. Polyurethane is particularly distasteful to them. Excitotoxin MSG is not good stuff. Found to interfere with the development of the hypothalamus in babies so they took it out of baby food. Now those babies that were raised on it are young adults. CSDMSO - other side? 35% in the Eyes
Evening JOH, There was one study where massive amounts of DMSO were given to rabbits. They developed cloudy areas in the lens. I accidently filled one of my spray bottles which I use for both nose and eyes with a 35% DMSO solution. It does produce an unusual sensation when sprayed into the nose. The burning of the eyes is minor, so much in fact that I used it again for the eyes. I have no problems with nose or eyes. I keep a spray bottle with me when working and use this a few times per day in case some stray bacteria try to set up housekeeping where I don't want them. Plus, I just might kill a real bad strain one day. Should I change the DMSO to a lower concentration? The bottle was clearly labeled, 35 % DMSO. A nice printed label at that. Most of the time I read the labels. Wayne -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Evening John, Wayne: How old are you NOW? Can you still run up a flight of stairs? :-) Yes, of course. Two or three flights, maybe not 8 or 10.Current age, 65.5 I have no back problems and still lift anything I am strong enough to lift. A year or two ago I was helping my son load some cross ties on a trailer. After it was over, I realized this was a good test for my back. If I had any weak disks, this would have tested them very effectively. I can still work 24 to 30 hours straight. I tell all my younger friends, If you can't work 24 hours, you are not healthy. Many people tell me they cannot work 24 hours straight. Likely I could still do 36 to 40. Have not done this test lately. Every day on the beach I see people walking dogs and watch the poor things trying to crap those bullets or mush, that the Gourmet Doggy Food they are fed create. I try to take care of my dog. I give her filtered water with CS. Also feed her raw eggs, raw milk, turkey necks and whole raw chicken, plus vitamin supplements. When she got sick once, I gave her the same vitamins I take. I was mixing powdered vitamins with water and pouring them down her. Here are a few pictures of some of my wild and domestic food. I found the blooms so pretty, I had to make a few pictures. The ones that got my attention was the wild huckleberries. I have a number of bushes, two of which are full bloom. It is interesting the others have set fruit and I am eating them daily. I noticed the blackberries to be the same. Some have lost their blooms and have small berries, while others are still in full flower. Of course I planted early, mid season, and late blueberries which gives me near two full months of blueberry harvest. http://www.fugitt.com/files/berry0428/ ( all pictures here ) This one with the name, http://www.fugitt.com/files/berry0428/blueberry_one_half.JPG One half, only shows about half the bush. Originally, I had 450 bushes. One tornado transplanted a few into a neighbors field, and a few have bit the dirt for other reasons. I planted this field in 1980. The Mulberries are the best and sweetest of all berries, and they get ripe early. The pictures do not show this well, but some are red already. They change from green to red and then blue. Wild critters get more mulberries than I do. Finally, you will see a few beehives required to pollinate melons, peas, wildflowers, and most berry crops. It is interesting that honey bees don't work the blueberries. It is bumble bees that do most of the pollination of the blueberries. I did not reduce the resolution of these pictures. Average 350 to 500 K. Wayne

DMSO Nature's Healer has significant coverage of the use in eyes for cataracts, macular degeneration, reitinitis pigmentosa and for preservation of eyeballs in freezing. Other ACAM (American College of Advancement in Medicine) physicians told of instilling one drop of a solution consisting of 25 mg DMSO with 2 cc of superoxide dismutase (SOD) once or twice a day for clearing cataracts and glaucoma. pp68 Garnet On Sun, 2004-05-02 at 22:50, Wayne Fugitt wrote: Evening JOH, There was one study where massive amounts of DMSO were given to rabbits.
Hey thanks Garnet! I will head out tomorrow to get her some. I noticed she is having more troub;e breathing again, something she has problems with must be in bloom. Unfortunately for her she has about 22 different allergies. Several are trees common in this area. Someone else told me today she is convinced that allergies are just the result of an immune system out of balance, so the POA needs nutritional support to bring back the immune system. I figure CS could only help with that. Sharon Garnet On Sun, 2004-05-02 at 11:10, Sharon wrote: Hey guys, A while back I saw a post on MSM for allergies, and I'd like to know if you think it might be helpful to a pony with allergies, and if so how much of it can I safely give a 600lb pony? Marshall Garnet wrote: I have been discussing CS on a horse forum that I am on and some are very skeptical due to Argyria info they turn up on searches, but many are interested. I concur. They did something similar with essential oils in England. An oil from the lab refrigerator was put on the vaginal area of a mouse?. It reacted with a strong squeeze. Thus the oil was determined risky re potential abortion problems. PS. If one puts anything cold from the fridge on tender tissues there as a contraction - even with cold water. Wayne, I found this an excellent testimonial. Opinions are opinions - but when someone has overcome a major or chronic ailment, regardless of fitting 'into the box' or not, I believe they may have a valid message for others to learn from. To me these are the 'gems', because the 'proof is in the pudding'. I think your point about working through the 24 is valid. Sometimes when the hands drag past midnight, and I'll just finish this...bug hits -- and then 'one more hour should do it' --- then it's 5 or 5:30 and I get up around 6 - so I just go through - I have found it much easier to function on day 2 if I do not grab an hour or two in the morning but hit the sack early the next evening at 8 or 9. Initially it took a bit to get my mind around it, but it works for me. Thanks for your testimonial of wellness. It's inspiring.
