that 12 o'clock on my dial makes ~10 ppm and all the way up makes ~20

The exact ppm is not important. There will be at least that much
variation in how much you absorb or excrete it each time you ingest it.

The body fluxes in its needs and functions. Body weight is variable too,
as to how much is fat and how much is muscle -- this affects the
distribution of all substances in the body. This is part of the reason
women are more sensitive to alcohol, it does not distribute in body fat
the way it does in muscle, so women have a higher blood level than men
because women have more body fat than men.

The only thing that I am concerned about regarding dose is getting
enough! Because it is so cheap to make I use generous amounts. Taking
more than you might need is no problem because it is excreted in your
urine within one to two hours, very little remains in the body longer
than that. After 90 -100 days in the Altman study (see
www.silvermedicine.org), the amount being excreted was effectively zero.
This is the only study we have on the metabolism and excretion of Silver
from CS.

But we do have thousands of years of anecdotal information on silver and
many years of heavy use of CS. Not one case of toxicity or even the
cosmetic condition argyria, which results from Silver salts
accumulating, is fully reversible and is totally without effect except
for the slight graying of the skin, mostly seen in the nail beds in the
early stages.

Many people take pints to quarts a day for years and years, literally.
The gentleman who introduced me to CS took had been taking it for over 7
years and doing urine therapy so he was also reingesting it through his
use of oral urine therapy. He was NEVER sick and had nothing but good to
say about the CS. He felt that the two therapies were very
complementary. Not for every one perhaps but nice to know about. His
wife who used only the CS and not the UT was not quite as healthy, as
he, but still enjoyed good health.

Hi G. et al,

I have heard of only one person---an anecdotal report on this list
several years ago---who got loose bowels from a few ounces of CS.
Therefore, I have decided to let digestive disturbances in the lower
bowl, one way or the other be a sign to limit CS intake. He was
elderly, frail, and had many conditions. If I had CA I w,ould probably
drink a half gallon a day, distributed.

I have never seen a situation where that limit was reached. Usually
much smaller amounts, like 4 oz per day will do many common situations.

CS>peirced ears

2004-09-17 Thread elle roberts

My daughter has peirced ears,  when they get inflammed she is afraid to use CS to help the inflamation ... this is because we have learned not to use a metal spoon etc.  to ingest CS.  She thinks the CS will react some way with the sterling silver earings.  Can anybody tell me if this is correct?  Otherwise,  I would like her to use it.  It seems an ongoing problem.
Thanks again list ... awesome to get this help.

MSM is a naturally occuring substance and is in all fresh foods. You
could not avoid it without ceasing to eat. It is a source of double
bonded sulfur normaly only found in unprocessed foods. There should not
be a problem with it interacting to my knowledge.

BTW do you eat red meat? If so try stopping for a few months before
starting the Accutane and see if that helps. Red meat requires
testosterone to be digested and the testosterone causes more sebum
production. I no longer eat beef since my teenage daughter told me this
and stopped as well. If I eat one piece of beef, which I no longer crave
but did for about six months at times, I get a pimple, in the same place
every time.

Re: CS>Gatorade (homemade) and CS results

2004-09-17 Thread Jonathan B. Britten
Regarding BB, I am still grateful for his posting about brushing teeth
with soap. In my family, the results have been just wonderful, with
unmistakable improvements evident after a few months. My gums are in
great shape.

We recently visited a great dentist who showed live microscope
projections of the bacteria in one child's mouth after dental cleaning.
In brief, there are four kinds of bacteria normally present in at
least small quantities, only one of which is particularly harmful, a
spirochete of some kind -- clearly a corkscrew shape on the monitor --
that is anaerobic and survives UNDER layers of the other bacteria.
This is the main cause of gum disease.I believe that using soap
wipes out all the bacteria on a regular basis, making the mouth
inhospitable to the spiral bacteria.

In this regard, the CS/DMSO seems a wise prophylaxis also, as the
DMSO presumably transports CS deep enough to attack the residual spiral
bacteria.

The explanation was all in Japanese so I did not get every detail, but
that is an accurate synopsis. It was quite an education.

Re: CS>Water Distillers

2004-09-17 Thread Garnet
I use either 9% white pickling vinegar or the regular 5% white vinegar.
The 9% just allows me to use less vinegar, but it is not always
available in a store brand product. Store brand being cheaper than brand
names. If I am using 5% I use about two cups (I really have not measured
exactly), with 9% more like a cup, then fill the rest of the way with
hot water and let sit over night or until most of the deposits are
completely dissolved. (This method works for any kind of hard water
deposits as well. Being on well water with a hardness of 42, moderate,
we deal with this on faucets and toilets.) You don't need distiller
cleaner at all. Works in coffe makers too.

I tried the green scrubbies and it was more work. I read on this list to
just wipe them lightly, that they did not have to shine. Besides my
family kept using my dedicated scrubbie to wash dishes then I could not
use it any longer.

CS>Water Distillers

2004-09-17 Thread elle roberts

Hi Garnet,  Yesterday you said .'I simply wipe it out after each batch and soak it in vinegar and water over night
every 6 or 7th batch, when the mineral deposits that won't wipe out get to be the size of a quarter on the bottom of the vessel'..

This sounds like a good idea to me and saves dollars for water distiller cleaner.
What type of vinegar do you use and when you soak overnight,  how much vinegar do you add?

Also,  for cleaning electrodes you suggest Kleenex tissues.  I have been taught to use a green scouring pad and clean till the silver shines,  I cant get the same result with tissues.  Is there a reason to use only the tissues?  ie.  does the scouring pad cause some ill-effect?

I'm very grateful for all I have learned on the list in the last few days,  being an amateur... thanks to those who have raised questions and had expert answers,  much has been clarified for myself.

Cheers

Hi Garnet,

I have searched the Archives to the extent that my lousy dial-up has
afforded me, LOL. I have gone through many archives on many subjects and
sometimes it seems those questions are still not answered. I could try
typing in "testimonies" or "dosages" and rifle though all the sub-threads
that inevitably come up.

I will try again.

Richard,

So you feel that it is ok to mix the CS with Gatorade - what about the
sodium in Gatorade - does that have any affect on the CS?

--
Hi:

Shortly before his house burned down, I asked Brooks Bradley this exact
question. I don't think he would mind my sharing his reply with you,
and I have included it below this.

Del
---
 Dear Del,
Please forgive this tardy response, but I am behind some 50 or so
messages. I have been, simply, overwhelmed with email inquiries of
late. In direct answer to your questions I offer:
(1) Regarding colloidal silver X Nacl conflict in Gatorade solution. We
found no challenging presentations during our evaluations using Gatorade
in conjunction with Colloidal Silver. Do remember that Gatorade is a
"balanced" electrolyte solution and does not offer as much attraction as
would NaCl in a standalone environment. Silver Chloride is (in our
opinion) considerably less of an argyria threat than is generally
bandied aboutespecially when considering the volumetric requirement
for inducing argyria from low ppm electrically isolated silver which has
combined with a Cl fraction. Actually, silver chloride is quite
effective in controlling all of the pathogens that Isolated Cs is---and
it is an order of magnitude less worrisome than would be ANY SILVER
PROTEIN COMBINATION which I can think of. If the in vivo chloride
bug-a-boo were a threat anywhere close to what some (e.g. Frank Key for
instance] advance, a VERY large number of BLUE people would be walking
about at present.
We have found that the chloride "objection" does not seem to
manifest to the extent that many contend.especially not with
Gatorade, Lactated Ringer's, etc. Unless one is planning on a "long
term" research protocol evaluation, I would consider it quite a stretch
to worry over consequential argyriaunder these parameters. The
possibility of "genuinely threatening" contaminants from ordinary
"tap-water" would seem to present a much greater potential
compromise-than would chloride recombination with silver in Gatorade
type solutions. Even if such combinations are occurring, they are,
evidently, of small moment...as no visible precipitates were ever
manifest (in our composite solutions) in any of our evaluations. We
used CLEAR Gatorade in all of our evaluations. Originally, this was the
only type which was available.
(2) Your observations relating to using "filtered" water are,
essentially, correct. I strongly advise against its use---except in
cases of DIRE EMERGENCY.
Actually, if I was going to use a supporting adjuvant, at the
present timeI would use DMSO (at about 1 or 2% strength).as it
possesses the quality of being the preeminent
entrainment solution available to us. DMSO WILL transport the CS
through mucous barriers and intermediate tissue fields like NO OTHER
substance of which we are aware---at this timeand it is quite
Non-toxic. Our original Gatorade studies have since, been superceded by
our DMSO researchin which our protocols eliminate even the
possibility of chloride compromise.
A note of caution however: DMSO is quite bitter to the
tasteeven at 2%. Therefore, one might be well-served to utilize
somewhat higher ppm strengths of CS (10 to 20 ppm) which would allow
quite small therapeutic dosages one could chase with diluent quantities
of plain waterto immediately mitigate against the unpleasant taste.
I hope these comments have been of value to you. I must go now,
but if you have further questions, feel free to contact me.
 Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.

Re: CS>How much CS I take...

2004-09-17 Thread Garnet
Dose to effect means know your body and recognize when it is being
challenged.

>From trial and error I know how much CS it takes for me to remain
healthy.

I consume between a good gulp to 16 oz a day, depending on the level of
exhaustion, stress, exposure and symptoms I am having.

You have to listen to your body and work it out for your individual
immune function and environment.

Preventive medicine is not the same as treating a diseased body. Trying
to apply exact dosages, even with antibiotics, is ONLY an approximation.
As I pharmacologist, one who researches dosages and mechanism of drug
action, I know that what is presented to the public is hype. There is no
certainty that an exact dose is being used. We have no way of knowing
this so generally we are overdosing some and under dosing others, when
using the established dosages for pharmaceuticals. I hope I am correct
in assuming that your questions arises from this practice in allopathic
medicine.

Holistic and preventative medicine is more about maintaining good
health rather than abusing our bodies and using pharmaceuticals to
correct the damage.

I also figure that CS is cheap and that I may as well take a bit too
much than too little. It can not harm me in the amounts I take, in fact
there is much doubt that it can harm even in much larger amounts. Of
course if you drink enough water, 4 gallons in succession, to be exact
you WILL die due to the dilution of your electrolytes, you will not be
able to propagate an action potential and your hear will stop beating.

Hi Mike! I'd be interested in knowing if you also did the kidney cleanse
recommended by HClark. Some of those herbs (hydrangea root) are hard to
find. I can see the wisdom in it though.

Thx,

CS>How much CS I take...

2004-09-17 Thread M. G. Devour
Susie wants to know:

> What kind of dosages do individual people take and why and what has it
> helped?

Okay, I'll get the ball rolling:

I make CS using low voltage DC with a current control diode in the
line. My main electrode is a 1 oz silver bullion coin. So I have a
pretty low current density, which probably results in a largely ionic
CS, as well as particles of reasonably small size. There's a weak
Tyndall effect that's only visible in a darkened room.

I have no clue what the ppm is.

If nothing in particular is going on, I'll take a swallow or two a
week, whenever I think about it. No, I can't get any more precise than
that unless you want me to take a swallow and spit it out into a
measuring cup...

If I think I'm at risk of some kind of plague, I'll up that to a
swallow or two per day until I lose interest and fall back to my normal
habit. If I seem to be *getting* such a plague, I'll take several
swallows a day, whenever I think about it, until the danger seems to be
past.

By "take a swallow" I mean pouring a few "glugs" (uncalibrated) into my
upturned mouth (so as not to contaminate the bottle of CS with my
saliva), then swishing it around as long as I can, which is usually
limited by my rather short attention span, forgetfulness, or the need
to verbally reprimand my daughter for whacking her brother with the end
of a broom handle...

Ahem! What was I saying?

This may mean anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. It is not
readily quantified.

What has it helped? Well, my first efforts with CS yielded a period of
3 1/2 years in which I didn't get so much as a cold. That was after at
least a decade of recurrent bronchitis and strep infections and
multiple courses of antibiotics each year.

Of course I did eventually catch a respiratory plague of some sort
after having gotten slack in taking it. Since then I have only rarely
gotten ill, and always during those slack times I've not been using
much CS.

One thing for sure is that I have not needed a single antibiotic in the
7 or so years I've been taking CS. In fact, no one else in my family
has, either.

Nowadays, I'm using CS as part of a modified 4-part Beck protocol as a
substitute for the parasite cleanse recommended before doing the Clark
style liver cleanses I've been doing since January or February. So at
least every other week I'm taking regular doses of CS leading up to my
next cleanse.

The cleanses are certainly yielding the predicted output of "stones",
and have apparently given me a bit of an energy boost. I plan to
persist until the yield drops off and my liver is "cleansed."

There. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Be well,

Mike D.
