Essentialy, double a PPM/TDS meter reading to get conductivity [uS]
uS = PPM ..in CS/EIS..after conductivity stabilizes.

..well, not really , but it's usually close.

OK -- perhaps I'm particularly dense -- but this is the kind of statement that creates confusion instead of eliminating it. First you say that Ionic silver requires no multipliers (or dividers?). Since we can assume that our colloids are at least partially Ionic, can we also assume that the digital readout on the Hanna tester is (more or less) correct as is? Then you turn right around and in the same paragraph say that *since most PPM/TDS meters use a /2 fudge factor, one should double the reading*. Why? How does *conductivity in microsiemens (uS)* relate to the ppm-level in our home-made Colloidal Silver? Thanks. MA

Heavy deposits on the electrodes can defeat conductivity sensing auto off circuits by semi-insulating the electrodes. At some point, they just get heavier and heavier and make a mess.

Don't worry about light. If you haven't used salt or baking soda, you can run a generator in direct sun and store CS on a sunny windowsill.
Silver in 'only' distilled water is not photo-reactive.
If you find that it is, there was something else in the water.

I have a colloid master as well. My usual setting is 6 to 6.5. The PPM tester is anywhere between 14 to 20. Which I understand correctly from the list is doubled to come up with the correct the PPM. It should be clear/slightly yellow at the end of the brewing cycle. It can take a bit of time. I do not let mine sit for 36 hours before I use it. I also do not filter it. Not sure if this causes any problems but I haven't turned gray yet

Well I started my first batch yesterday at 4 PM. It's now 7 AM and it's not done. I have a colloid master and when I did the test for water purity it was just fine (Arrowhead distilled) So I'm not sure what to do now. I'm concerned. I did want a higher PPM so it's set on 6. I'm concerned about the keep in the dark thing. Why would that make a difference. Can I lift the box and look at it or would that ruin the batch and what about taking the box off to remove the silver and let set for 36 hours. It's seems more difficult that I thought it would be because of the darkness thing. I seen a post here about fuzz does' that stop the process and what about lifting the box to see if I have fuzz.

thanks for any input

They don't need a patent because no one steals things that don't work.

Ode I gotta agree with you. My parents were pretty strict with us, but the
baby of the family was a different story.

My youngest sister figured out that my mother was afraid of the empty
nest. At sixteen she moved out of the house and into the home of her
boyfriend. She told my parents I am not moving back until you buy me a
car. You cannot imagine HOW astonished my two other sisters, and I were!
If we had done that my parents would have said fine, have it your way.
Instead they went out and bought her a Mazda 626. For that time period it
was a VERY nice car.

Through the years it has been one demand after another. Now for the folks
who think it is incredibly mean and heartless to demand your children
respect you and that parents should cave into demands and give bribes for
good behavior or love... I'd like to share what happened to my youngest
sister.

Not that I am a saint by any stretch of the imagination. I was a rebellious
youth, but I waited until I was on my own to experiment with alternative
lifestyles. I learned pretty quickly I did *not* want to live that way.
Six months of living on rice and eggs and having to roll pennies for gas
money put a whole new perspective on the druggie lifestyle. I then joined
the Navy for the next 8 years.

My youngest sister did not fare so well. My parents continued to spoil her.
As an adult they began to pay all her bills while she worked and kept her
money for herselfin her own apartment! She married a solder, got
pregnant and when the baby was 3 months old left the solder. She moved in
with a boy of 17 years old in HIS MOTHER'S HOME. They were both partying
hardy when the father of the baby sued for custody. My mother bailed my
sister out of that trouble.

Then my sister gave the baby to another sister (there are 4 girls one boy)
for 6-9 months. My youngest sister then led a real life of debauchery in
Washington DC. She realized suddenly that she missed her son who was in
Indiana. She took him from a good home to live with her lover AND her
lesbian friends. My mother found pictures of the orgies that took place.
And CONTINUED to foot the bills. Eventually my youngest sister had two more
children. All with different fathers, and played at being a escort and
stayed on drugs and on and on and on. She is 39 and has never changed.
Each time someone tries to step in to show her she needs to change, my mom
is quick to run to her defense.

My parents have no time for any of the other grandchildren because they are
always taking care of my sisters children. They don't participate in the
lives of any of their other children because they are caught up in the drama
of the youngest.

My heart breaks because she was the cutest sweetest thing. My parents
ruined her.

Raine,

Hon, my heart goes out to the doggy, your friend and you. Please, do the
doggy a favor; at least, get an x-ray. Then you will know how serious the
injury is, and can work on it yourself with any advice from friends. But,
if it is something serious, and you don't treat it now, the doggy might be
in pain for a long time to come. They don't normally show pain, as this is
not a good thing if you are an animal. In the wild you would be prey,
killed, and eaten. Dogs have retained this aspect of not showing pain even
though they are now domestic animals. Plus, if there is damage to the hip
bone or any other bone and not taken care of now, it will set as is and
possibly cause more harm to other areas of the dogs life. Doggy is much to
young at only 6 mos. to have to suffer for the rest of its life.

As for the lump on his neck, he probably sustained injury there and it could
be inflamed, or a clot, or a bruise. Although it may not appear that doggy
needs professional attention, they normally do after being hit by a car.

Please don't do this to the doggy.

He is walking fine, eating, pottying, doesn't favor the rear, left

A bit of info on the dog; he's about 6 months old, Rott/Shepherd/Chow

So far I haven't seen any mention of the switch on the front of the
colloid master. It has a standard and a fast setting.
You need to be using the standard position as the fast shuts off the
polarity switching and the automatic off making it a manual

generator much like hooking up some 9 volt batteries.

Dish soap could certainly be part of the problem, but again it would
only make the EIS go yellow, not make your generator run forever.

The farther apart the electrodes are the higher the ppm can go
because of the way distance affects the current (if I understand
anythng). So having the electrodes 1 inch farther apart than is
specified for your generator could make it run a lot longer..but
26 hours is outside what I'd expect even so.

See my previous post---Arrowhead is only good water in some areas of
the nation. Where I live it is the worst brand by far (out of 5 or 6
brands we can get here).
I think you perhaps should contact the mfr of your generator and see
what they say.

sol

I did clean the jar with dish soap but I really rinsed in well. I
flushed it because I was concerned about using soap. could this be a
factor?

I will run a second batch this afternoon. I did do the water test
and it was pure. Arrowhead is a good water source. I'm using a one
quart jar. It's not mason but it looks like a mason jar it's not
wide mouth so the bars weren't touching the jar. I just measured the
opening and it is 3 inches could this be the problem.

CSColloidal Silver did it again!

2005-05-09 Thread Faith Saint Francis
It happened last Saturday evening. We went to sing in the evening, Karaoke,
very pleasant, good atmosphere, we had a swell time singing our favorites.

Then: All of a sudden I felt a stinging pain in my eye, which worsened
quickly. I was operated upon for cataracts on both eyes five weeks ago, but
it all had worked out fine. I recovered fast (having taken CS against any
possible inflammations all the time), and I even felt the itch to go back to
work .. and now this.

I noticed that looking into on-coming light (cars with headlights on,
glaring neon lights, that kind of things) made the pain unbearable.

Well, long story short: I was in a worsening eye condition and it gave me
the creeps.
After all these weeks! --doc saying that my eyes were splendid --glasses
down from –8 to –0,5, not really necessary anymore --soon back to work ..
And Now This.

Well, let me tell you that, already before the operation, I had resolved
that in case of inflammations (the only danger the eye surgeon had
mentioned) I would run back to my old therapy: The hard proven treatment
with my own urine, even now with my eyes - against all odds if need be.
Late at night that left eye had gotten very sore. It was reddish, and I
could not stand any light. So I dripped fresh urine directly into it. It
relieved a little, but not much. Then I tried my second arrow: I drank more
colloidal water than I do usually. But it was old, and I started to make a
new bottle at once. Then (Reflexology wise) applied pressure on the eye
points, on fingers and toes. They were very sensitive, but treating them
must relieve the pain. My eye shed water during the early morning, and it
hurt badly. I kept on dripping urine and drinking colloidal silver, even
during the early morning hours. And then, after doggedly keeping to drip my
own water (a therapy I have been akin too for many years now) indeed the
pain lessened.

Next day (Mother’s day, many friends in our house) was not pleasant. My eye
was sore. We had planned to go to the beach with the kids but could not, for
the intense sun in my eyes.
But I worked on, dripping urine, and drinking colloidal water. I checked my
eyesight in the tempered light of our bedroom. It was okay, obviously no
damage done up to now. In the afternoon I noticed the receding of the pain,
and this Monday morning we even wondered if going to the eye-surgeon really
was necessary.

We went, and so I told this fine doctor with his great sense of patience,
big ears and an enormous practice, that I had gotten so far by dripping my
own urine into my eyes, and by drinking CS. He made no remark.
After checking the bad left eye he commented that it was just fine .. a
minor (!) irritation, but well on its way to total cure. He called it a
normal “possibility”.
“And .. that urine .. I would not do it anymore, of I were you. Just take
the TobraDex I prescribed: 3 days three drops, then 3 days two drops, then
one week one drop.

The eye is much better now, but for direct light entering. The redness is
almost gone, and I feel hardly any pain.

I am a good boy, and will do as doc says .. but in tandem with my urine
drops and the CS that have always worked the miracle.

Also - preservatives in processed foods such as salami, sandwich meats,

2005-05-09 Thread Betsy Coffey
I am puzzeled by the comment that my post was
confusing. I admit that maybe addressing three
separate issues was a bit much but hopefully the
content was clear. As a teacher, I was only trying to
offer some help for a difficult situation.I hope that
your post was in jest other wise I felt like it came
off a little rude. I have no way of knowing how it was intended.

Re: CSwater oz,granddaughters behaviour and castor oil

2005-05-09 Thread S Khanna
Hi Betsy,

Herbally speaking, castor oil is cooling externally but heating internally.
That is to say, it can cause inflammation and probably would be irritating to
the bladder lesions if its effect even reached that far, but certainly would
irritate the colon. It's a great laxative, but doesn't soothe the tissues
internally as far as I know.

Dr. Richard Schulze (American Botannical Pharmacy) makes a kidney/bladder
tincture that might help.

I thought water oz was found to be unsafe for oral
consumption. Wasnt there a post a while back about it
causing agrayia? Regarding the womans granddaughter,
her behaviour that is limited only to her mother
would suggest a discipline problem. However, the
statment was made that the girl has been like this
since childhood. The fact that her siblings are not
noted to engage in this behaviour would point to
perhaps some type of possible organic problem. Before
attemptimg to establish disclipinary measures, I would
want to rule out any possible chemical imbalance. My
suggestion would be to have a complete evaluation
including food allergies, yeast, thyroid, blood sugar
etc. I had a friend who had two children ONe was very
mild mannered and the other child was cross and
behaviourly challanged. It took them several years to
find out that she was severly hypoglycimic. Put on a
proper diet, she is like a different child. This
status and money issue with so many teenagers is
another problem in itself. It is alot more prominant
than it used to be and is a sad commentary of our
materialistic society. I dont think that we as adults
are setting a very good example for our young people.
As a teacher for 20 years of young children, I do not
observe that girls are any more mean than boys. It is
equal amoung the sexes. The meaness is just manifested
differently.Girls tend to be a bit more sophisticated
in their behaviour at that age. I agree with the
statment that it is very very important for involved
adults to constantly and consistantly guide young
children on how to be kind and remind them often of
how much their behaviour affects others. INstead of
being critical of young people, we need to be
responsible in setting good examples for them and
being accountable towards them.
Last comment, Does someone know the benefits of taking
a food grade castor oil supplement? I was thinking
about using it to heal bladder lesions but dont know
if it would actually be more irritating. The castor
oil I purchased was for castor oil liver packs but is
said to be edible.
