Uhh, not really.
As little as 50 milliamps (.05 amps) can do the job.

Don't disdain the voltage either. It's the pressure that pushes the
amperage, and a 9 volt battery CAN provide enough voltage AND current
to be lethal under the right circumstances.

This one has alcohol in it, but it is not alcohol "based". It is h202 based.
The alcohol does kills germs and helps disperse the peppermint oil and give a
tang to the mouthwash. h202 by itself tastes terrible, and pure alcohol is way
too harsh. Xylitol has proven anticavity benefits and tastes great.

CS as mouthwash is fine, but a little boring to me.

Bob,

How did you measure the cell conductance of your high voltage microwave
setup?

If you use a PWT, do you have to turn off the voltage in the cell if you
want to measure the conductance? For low voltage. (I assume you would
for high voltage as it would present a danger.)

Once you characterize your cell, do you feel you can count on it to give
consistent results if you don't change parameters?

Re: CS>running off of 12 volt

2006-02-02 Thread Ode Coyote

Most all LVDC and LVAC systems run off 24 - 36 volts.
Some have rectifier and transformer circuits internal. [Hard to modify]
Some use wall transformers [If that's the case, a battery can usually be
plugged in directly using the proper polarity]
Some have internal rectification with external transformer. [If that's the
case, polarity doesn't matter and you just can't hook it up wrong]
All will run off 12 volts if hooked up in the right spot..just
slower...except for the following case.

If the generator has an "automatic off" that is conductivity related, the
'output' voltage at start, regardless of input, must be higher than the
shut down voltage or it will think it is done and shut off. [Typically 5 to
12 volts depending on how much current and electrode is used]

Basically, if there's no way to get around the auto off and the output is
lower, it just won't run at all.
If it does run, the results are the same in the end when it does
eventually shut itself down.
If there is a way to bypass the auto off, virtually any voltage can be
used, but it'll take a meter [or taste buds?] to tell when to stop.

There is one automatic unit "made" for alternative power sources,
designed specifically for the Australian Outback. [Can also be plugged into
the wall]

http://silverwell.com.au/

Most solar panels put out 18 volts in full sun at the load of most CS
generators. [500 milliamp solar car chargers work fine]

A fully charged car battery is between 13 and 15 volts.
Cordless power tool batteries are a good alternative source.
CS can be made with as little as 1.2 volts [maybe lower]..it just takes
more time.

It's also possible that CS can be made using one silver and one aluminum
electrode, connected out of the water..and no power source or electronics
at all. [This is how 'Curad Silver' bandages work]

 No aluminum enters the water.

'Algebar' does the same thing using silver and copper electrodes. ["Might"
be making colloidal copper?...probably not.]

Hi list,

I was wondering if the cs makers that run on120v can be made capable to
run off of 12 volt system via a solar and wind system. I am hoping not to
have to use an inverter with this system.

What did you do with the other electrode?

You people obviously feel safe and among friends, which is nice. But is it
entirely circumspect to give out your addresses this way? Would private

It was the tradition in my family that any cold or flu or sore throat

I had forgotten all about it until you mentioned it.

That may be so. But I believe that in water cure treatments the purpose is
to bring the blood to the area - while at first it is cold, it then gets
warm. For all I know there may also be an element of drawing toxins out to
the wet cloth.

I know I probably don't have the description of the action right, but I am
going back fifty years to a wonderful book my mother had on water cure,
written by a practitioner from a very old water cure establishment in the
south of England. Don't I just wish she had brought all her old books to
Australia! The treatment has a very definite purpose to do with the blood
flow to the organs covered.

Patients would be totally wrapped in wet sheets, too, then I think covered
in blankets, and left for a certain period of time.

I went to a naturopath for advice forty years ago and he advised me, if any
children had chest colds and so on, to wrap their chests in wet cloth.
