Re: CSSaving Email ( More Ways than one )
Hi Pat, Carol, I'm using Gmail which is very quick. But it does have the same clunky way of not being able to drag and drop between composition and other emails. There may be a better way but what I do is open two instances of Gmail (two tabs) I have one tab open on the original email and the other tab open with my reply. So I can happily go back and forth between the two. Regards, Tony M On 12/08/06, Carol Ann saffiresk...@yahoo.com wrote: Thanks, pat. I have been using Eudora since ver 1.X or 2.X Wayne, you said you could email me the whole silver list you have saved? Would it be hard for you to do? I'd love, love, love to have it all. I could email him a small mailbox and index file to see if they work. The largest file has 27,000 messages but I can split them up in any shape, form, or fashion when I need to. Re: CSFace to face with argyria...
When using the pinch of salt recipie, only a couple of grains of salt difference can make a HUGE difference in the strength of the product within the allotted time span. Add that to slight variences in water and you have Stan Jones differences. Silver Chloride is light sensitive. It is said that Silver Chloride is the result when ionic silver contacts stomach acid, but I've seen no proof that it is found in the blood stream. If Silver Chloride contacts stomach acid, what then? [I dunno] In fact, according to Frank Keys ion selective probe, no ionic silver is found in the bloodstream after consuming EIS. [Silver Chloride is an ionic form of silver.] What I find to be odd is that Frank doesn't say what sort of silver IS found in the blood stream. Researchers have had extreme problems with inducing Agyria in test subjects even when using toxic, nearly and sometimes fatal levels of Silver Nitrate. It's very likely that other factors are in play in combination with silver intake and it's not silver in itself, in any form, that causes the problem. When 94% of inhaled silver dust is eliminated within 48 hours, accounted for by testing body waste products, and the incidence of Agyria in silver workers who inhale silver all day every day is around 1 case in 2,000 workers according to one researcher who thought he could find some cases to study in that industry, but was mistaken one starts to wonder. What that researcher did find was no current cases of Agyria, a very few on record and a very low absenteeism rate from illness. [Study Reports found a long time ago by following the links posted on Rosemary Jacobs website, links now gone ] ode What makes their case of special importance to us is the way in which they acquired their condition: In the run-up to Y2K they began making and drinking CS using the primitive three 9V batteries and salt recipe which was widely disseminated on Y2K web sites and discussion forums at that time. With all the talk here about the possible benefits of using Gatorade or Pedialyte with EIS and the many concerns expressed about Gatorade and Pedialyte and their ingredients I thought I would post this offering of homemade alternatives to Gatorade or Pedialyte. I originally posted this on the SilverPets list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SilverPets/ I may have posted it here too but since the archives are down I can't be sure. In any event here it is again for anyone interested in alternatives to commercial electrolyte products. Here are a few formulas for electrolyte solutions you can make at home. The only one which could be said to be sugar free is the starch based one. This first one can be used for enemas and orally. Some of the others may be usable as enemas as well but this is the only one I'm sure of. It is advisable to warm to body temperature prior to use. Boil and cool 4 cups water (Actually I prefer to start with distilled water) It will be easier to completely dissolve the dry ingredients if one starts with warm water. Add- 1/2-teaspoon baking soda - 1/2-teaspoon salt - 3 Tablespoons sugar Be sure all of the dry ingredients are fully dissolved and mixed. Here are a couple more options for homemade electrolyte solutions. Starch-based Solution 1 quart clean (preferably distilled) water ½ teaspoon table salt 2 oz. (about 1 cup) baby rice cereal Sugar-based solution 1 quart clean water ½ teaspoon table salt 8 teaspoons sugar And a couple more. This recipe may be used in place of an over-the-counter product (Pedialyte), IF followed EXACTLY: 3 Tablespoons of Sugar 3/4 teaspoon of Salt 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda 1 Cup of Orange Juice (I don't use this) 1 Quart of Water. Pour together and shake well, being certain that all dry ingredients are fully dissolved and mixed. (Keep refrigerated and and warm to body temperature before use and use within 48 hours). 2 quarts water 1-teaspoon baking soda 1-teaspoon salt 7 Tablespoons sugar 1 packet Sugar-Free Kool-Aid 1/2-teaspoon salt substitute The salt substitute and Kool-Aid are optional. As with the others, store in the refrigerator and warm to body temperature just prior to use. Remember too that EIS when mixed with salt produces silver chloride which is known to be much less effective than genuine ionic silver. However if one is making up one's own homemade electrolyte solution one is free to vary it to suit the need of the moment. -- LTR Last time I checked pedialyte it contained aspartame Since Gatorade is an electrolyte solution (plus sugars, flavorings, chemicals, etc.), I was wondering whether Pedialyte infant electrolyte solution could be used instead. I would not want to drink Gatorade because of the immune depressing effect of the sugar. The mineral solution you suggested--where do you get it? Jill Is there an alternative to using Gatorade's to get electrolytes with the CS? Thank You KV -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Dear David, As I get more of a chance to interview them I'll nail down the rest of the specifics. When I talked to them I was able to verify how they made it and how much they took each day. I'm not sure how many months or years they took it, though. Be well, Mike D. Hello Mike Can you be more specific about the time. Did they take it from pre-2000 up to the present day, or just for a couple of years in total? Thanks David Dear group, In another thread David wrote: Don't assume that someone who looks grey has been taking colloidal silver. It's more likely to be caused by heart medication. I will be interested to see how prevalent use and abuse of that heart medication will become, versus the relative frequency of argyria in the next few years. So, as stunning as it is to confront a genuine case of argyria in the flesh, the real message is that the old pinch of salt recipe is now well *proven* to be capable of producing generalized argyria, AND there may be a lot more cases developing in the aftermath of the Y2K phenomenon, just like these folks' did. This is the reason for some of my recent comments urging us to treat every new argyria report with complete seriousness and an absolute absence of defensiveness. Although we as a group abandoned the pinch of salt idea in favor of pure silver in water at low concentrations much earlier than the rest of the alternative health community, other people are *still* promoting that primitive process to this day. As I see it our task is four-fold: * Continue our efforts to promote low concentration silver preparations made with fine silver and pure water only. * Advocate the concurrent use of low-dose selenium and vitamin E in conjunction with *any* silver preparation. * Study and further develop the already successful argyria treatment protocol to maximize safety while retaining effectiveness in reversing the condition. * Provide that information to everyone who seeks it, taking the lead in helping argyria victims treat themselves. I was able to explain to this couple what happened. Until I did, they didn't know it was the silver that turned them blue. I also mentioned the successes we've seen in reversing it, and I will do what I can to help them in the months ahead, if they are willing. CSCS pH
An interesting quote from one of Terry Chamberlin's files, Silver The Healthful Metal. The pH of silver colloids should fall between 6.5 and 8 because increasing amounts of silver oxide will appear as the pH of the solution falls below 6.5 and silver oxide is a less effective bactericide than pure silver. Silver oxides can be removed by filtration. If water is double distilled oxygen-free water having a pH 7, silver oxides will not be produced.
