Mike I can tell you the same story...I had an e-coli and got
anti-bioticait did not work...later Nitrofurantoine.it did not heal
and in an alternative medicine book I saw that even Nitrofurantoine
causes bladder disease.!

2 Weeks very painfull ,I was thinking going to Heaven...than I took the CS
...every hour a half cup ( more than normal ,with a lot of well water)and
after 6 hours the pain disappeared.

My familydoctor has n't a dictionnairy with the words colloidal silver and
did not support it.

The homeopatic doctor said : I have more patience who use the CS...but I am
responsible for myself...I am so glad to see on the forum more testimonials.

I wish I had a good book about CS.

I make the CS about 4 years now...but for the bladder I have to take more
than normal,that is my experience.

We just had a scare with our two year old twin grandchildren because of
a severe E-Coli infection. This can be fatal to small children because
it can cause renal failure. The doctors offered no help, said there was
no antibiotic for it, just wait and hope. Meanwhile, in the news, a
child in Albany died from it. So my daughter was scared out of her

We treated them with colloidal silver around the clock, and also with
d-mannose in a formulation called Clear Tract which is specifically
recommended for kidney and bladder infections, and is especially
effective against e-coli infections of same. End result is that both

And how!
Silly me, after brewing my cayenne tincture for a full month, I
squeezed the coffee filter I was straining the tincture through with my
BARE HANDS! (I have no idea what I was thinking...)
It took me a minute to figure out why my hands were on fire! And then it
took 4 hours of ice, milk, cold water, and whatever else would work
until the pain subsided. I will NEVER make that mistake again!

I was surprised to see someone (Bob?) suggest using DMSO and Cayenne
tincture in conjunction. I find DMSO makes me itch somethin' fierce from
the histamine release, and cayenne burns my skin, so to combine the two
without some major dilution is slighty scary to me. BUT I am intrigued.
I'd like to hear more of what one experiences with this combo.

Some time ago Brooks Bradley posted to this list what I call the Easy Bounce
Routine. I've been doing it ever since, at least once a day.

It consists of standing in a door way with your hands over your head
and simply bouncing 200 times on your heels.

Simple, dirt cheap, works for me.

Who could ask for anything more?...from the tune of the same name.

stuff

You'd need to buy a really *good* one, but a rebounder is probably one
of the best exercise options you have with your current issues.

For one example, the Reboundair quarter fold costs about $300. It's
guaranteed for users up to 400 pounds. Buy the stabilizer bar with it
and you'll have something to hang onto while you get your sea legs.

   See: http://www.ultimate-rebound.com/

You're exactly right. Anything of lesser quality will be destroyed in
short order. Stuff from Wal-Mart or similar sources won't hold up.

All you need to do is stand on it and bounce gently up and down. Your
feet never need to leave the mat. A few minutes at a time, a few times
a day to begin with. As you gain stamina and confidence you'll find
yourself doing more. It's easy to do while watching TV. It's fun.

Your lymphatic circulation will be helped immensely. It should also
help your joints in the long run.

Not cheap, but a good value. Might not be possible for you, budget-
wise, but I'm confident it would help you.

Good luck, ma'am!

CSimmunosuppressant responsive idiopathic lymphoeytic pleuritis

2006-09-03 Thread Hannah

Has anyone on the list dealt with, or knows about
immunosuppressant responsive
idiopathic lymphocytic pleuritis , a condition a friend of
mine was diagnosed with.
Translated in my own words it is lymphocytic pleuritis with unknown cause
which responds to immuno suppressant drugs.
She fell ill in August 2005, and hospitalised in
September 2005. Doctors were baffled and have done a zillion
tests, administering all sorts of drugs trying to keep her alive... and
worked out after 10 months that that is what they were dealing with. Now
into the 13th month. they are trying to wean her of
steroids.
Any suggestions that will help her to get back on her feet would be
really appreciated. I am assuming that some of the drugs she has been
given over the months may have left some health issues in addition to the
pleuritis recovery and regaining strength are very
slow.
Thanks in advance

CSSore feet

2006-09-03 Thread oldgl...@bigcountry.net
Hi,

I read a most interesting article about feet and the nerves in the bottom of
the feet many years ago. It mentioned how your nerves in the bottom of your
feet, can degenerate and the more this happens, the more you teeter tottor
and shuffle because you can't tell exactly where you are. No more of this
easy striding. Then, the article went on to mention you could wear an
inersole that was wired, which gave you back your sense of nerves and
allowed you to operate normally. At the time I dismissed this idea but since
then, decided it had great merit. Does anyone know of a device like this on
the market?

Thank you,

Jean

Tinctures made with 80 proof vodka don't need any preservative. I'm not sure
about vinegar, but it doesn't seem to need any preservative by itself so I
don't think that it should need any for the tincture, especially if there is
alcohol in it as well.

The point is to make the tincture very strong (with much more herb than most
herbalists generally use) so that you don't have to take so much of the carrier
(ie alcohol or vinegar) in order to get a good dose of the herb.

I don't think you need to add CS.

When doing these home tinctures, alcohol most of the times
refer to vodka. Most alcohol content is listed in proof as
in 80 proof. which means that 80 proof equals 40% alcohol by
volume. 40 proof is 20% alcohol. Proof equals 1/2 alcohol .
As a preservative different herbs may call for different
percentages alcohol. I am not sure what percentage cayenne
calls for, but I'm pretty sure only needs 10-20% by volume
alcohol. Also as Tabasco and others only use vinegar
(acetic acid) is more economical but not as hot as
alcohol.

By question is what would the combination of Colloidal
Silver and vinegar or alcohol be?
Maybe CS as a preservative would not need anything else (but
it does not seem to work that particular way.

Excellent news, Del, and nice report.

A family member uses oral CS to keep recurrent bladder infections under
control from daily catheterization to void the bladder. It does work.

Be well,

Mike D.

So my daughter was scared out of her
 mind.

We treated them with colloidal silver around the clock, and also with
d-mannose in a formulation called Clear Tract which is specifically
recommended for kidney and bladder infections, and is especially
effective against e-coli infections of same. End result is that both
kids are fine now two and a half weeks later.

Having the right knowledge can save lives!

RE: CSTravel Kit Emergency

2006-09-03 Thread Ed Kasper
RE: CSTravel Kit EmergencyAdding CS to Cayenne will get CS to the
destination faster (in theory) That's why I would like to hear from those
that use cayenne and use CS. IMO, they should be added together, but
personal testimony is important. Some claims that cayenne as a nasal spray
is superior.

I am not sure how CS would react to alcohol or vinegar, with cayenne it
should be fine, or I see no reason why a combination would be bad.

If you simply have a glass of CS and some cayenne powdered and mixed what
you needed when you needed would work. However, IMO, a cayenne tincture is
simply more powerful. If CS was added just before that would be IMO, an
added value. However, if CS was added to the tincture beforehand then that
would be simpler and quicker, being ready made. Many of the disorders
cayenne are noted for are inflammation in nature. Cayenne may work to just
blast through working through the stagnation caused by inflammation. CS
should work as an anti-inflammatory, more of the root of the problem, that
which causes the inflammation.

Any on know of possible bad reaction of CS with alcohol or vinegar?

Tinctures made with 80 proof vodka don't need any preservative. I'm not
sure about vinegar, but it doesn't seem to need any preservative by itself
so I don't think that it should need any for the tincture, especially if
there is alcohol in it as well.

The point is to make the tincture very strong (with much more herb than
most herbalists generally use) so that you don't have to take so much of the
carrier (ie alcohol or vinegar) in order to get a good dose of the herb.

Re: CSSore Knee

2006-09-03 Thread Brickeyk
I found that walking or running in my swimming pool seems to help. Jumping up
and down in the water makes acid reflux worse. The pressure of the water
pushes my stomach up the wrong way. With acid reflux I need to get the stomach
down, a rebounder is a better choice. I was told in the 1960's that my knee
cartilage was nearly gone and I would have bone against bone, DR said in 10
years I
would need both knee joints replaced. I was babying using the knees so I said
if I am losing them I might as well use them. I used a stationary bike then
started to jog 3 miles per day fast enough to get 30 Cooper points per week.
Knees seemed to get better by jogging. I broke both big toes ridding my 3
wheeler. That was the end of jogging. I just ordered a Needak rebounder from
ebay,
$176 + $35 shipping with 5 free gifts.

I tried CMO and my bad knee seemed to improve on only the second day.
Planting christmas trees I could only get back up with one knee, the other was
so
bad. My good knee started to hurt. That would be the end of tree planting with
two bad knees.CMO fixed my bad knee so I can now get back up using it, my other
knee was helped about 60%. I know can stand up using either knee.

I am now going fishing for bullfrogs for my pond. Tadpoles should be big
enough to catch in my crawfish trap We had real warm weather where the frogs
laid
their eggs then a cold spell came and very few eggs hatched. I had 5 sets of
eggs in my pond and I don't think any hatched. My KOI eat the tadpoles.

I make a water type drink with 1/3 CS, T lemon juice per cup, two or three
sprinkles of cayenne per cup the rest 2/3 of water. I try to drink 8 cups of
this per day. I was using Gatorade but was getting too much sugar. I tried
cayenne in warm water and never could get past 1/8 of a teaspoon of the 40,000
BTU
cayenne. I also add cayenne to coffee or tea. I still get a foot itch that
can't be relieved by rubbing. I found that stretching my ankle for five seconds
s
eems to help, I stetch forward , toes out and toes in. A dancer said that
exercise helped her feet.

CSBaghdad Boils (leishmaniasis (leesh-mun-eye-ah-sis))

2006-09-03 Thread Acmeair
A number of US soldiers fighting in Iraq have become afflicted with a
horrible disease called leishmaniasis (leesh-mun-eye-ah-sis).
They get it from the bite of a sand-fly which injects a parasite into
their bloodstream. The “cutaneous” version of the disease causes huge,
ghastly, and painful boils on the face and other areas of the skin thus
the name, Baghdad Boils. The “visceral” version destroys the liver and
other internal organs and can be fatal

has anyone on the list come across this? young son of a friend, 4 tours
in iraq, has it. the only alternate treatment i can find is taking
quercetin 4x/day.

thanks, jim

CSCS Generator with Adjustable Auto Shutdown

2006-09-03 Thread Dan Nave
I just finished making up a circuit based on Mike Monett's schematic for a simple auto shutoff
circuit for a colloidal silver generator. (Thanks Mike!) From:

http://silversol.freewebpage.org/systems/csoff.htm

His auto shutoff circuit was calculated out for 5 volt operation. I wanted to set it up for 24 volt
since I had a 24 volt relay and wanted to use a 47K ohm potentiometer and a 40 volt power supply
cube I took from an old printer that was being scrapped out.

I tried to run his formulas on the Mercury program, but either they were incorrect or I entered them
incorrectly since the circuit didn't work properly. Not being an engineer, I used my technician
sense and got it working. I provided a simple 24 volt regulated supply and an adjustable current
source using LM317 ICs. Values for components are as follows:

R1 = 150K ohms
R2 = 150K ohms
R3 = 39K ohms
R4 = 47K ohms
R5 = 10K ohms
R6 = 12K ohms
C2 = .1uf
U1 = LM324A

I don't suggest that these values are optimum, just that they worked well for
me...

I stuck an LED in the lead going to the current generator so that when the relay closes and current
starts through the cell I have an indicator which shows that. No need for a resistor.

I also stuck some banana jacks in series with the cell for the current meter.

I set the current regulator to 20ma since I have a 3 X 6 piece of silver for the anode (+) and two
1.5 X 6 copper cathodes (-), one on each side of the anode, so I am using both sides of the anode
(for 33 square inches of wetted anode area). The current regulator is run off the 40 Volt supply.

The maximum cell threshold for shutoff tests out to 27.5 Volts and
the minimum cell threshold for shutoff tests out to 5.0 Volts.

This gives a wide cell resistance shutoff range.

I'm confusing myself a bit thinking about this since the voltages and resistances involved would
change with different electrode size and spacing and the setting of the current source value. At
any rate, looking back on my notes, the cell I was using with the 1ma current limit and the 8 long
12 gage electrodes with approx 2 sq in wetted area and 1.25 inch spacing shut off at about 5 Volts.

The current cell described first above is shut off at 14 Volts.

Anyway, using the Excel program Faraday Calculator and the currents I recorded every 15 minutes, I
stopped the process when Faraday calculator indicated 23ppm and there was some grey-beard showing up
on the edges of the cathode. Reads 19.5 uS (NaCl). Used Ode's magnetic stirrer with the large
plastic tube on it. The entire time for the batch (sun tea jar, 1 gallon + 1.5 cups, 4140ml) took
1.75 hours. The CS looks nice and clear.

Boy, that works slick!

Dan

Re: CScomment and D-mannose question, was Re: CSKidney Infections

2006-09-03 Thread Pat

Hi. I get a bit queasy feeling when I take a
D-mannose capsule. Not much and not long lasting, but
it has puzzled me.

I've had some under the right rib pain since I was in
my 20s. I had testing for pain in middle of tummy at
waist (he came up with irritable bowel to explain that
away) and they did several other tests. Never
complain to doctor about a not so bad problem.all
I wanted was for insurance to pay for my first
colonoscopy hahaha. I had a HIDA scan of the
gallbladder and they said it was fine, but I'd swear
I've had a few gallbladder attacks in my life, with
pain radiating through to my back. Too painful to
breathe one time after eating pizza (after a few weeks
on a diet). Pain was under shoulder blade. Only
thing they ever found was a liver cyst which is fairly
common I guesshe wasn't concerned. Who knows about
temporary pains...maybe it's a cramp of an internal
organ??

I thought someone warned once to never drink out of
the bottle of CS because it would cause it to fall out
of suspension if it is contaminated with anything.
So, I can't imagine how you could mix it with vinegar
or other food and have it stay ok for any period of
time.

Hi, This message is interesting to me, because of your comment about
having sharp pain under your right ribcage immediately after taking the D
Mannose. I get such a pain almost every day . Am trying to track it down
to certain foods. Today I had it right after eating a yellow tomato and
again later in the afternoon after eating a dab of peanut butter. I am
keeping a record of these things. Do you have this sensation at other
times? Ruth

This is extremely interesting. I was just looking up Nitrofurantoin, as I
was just given a prescription for it, for low grade bladder infection.
After what I read about it online I decided not to fill the Rx. And what
Gertrude says adds extra emphasis to my concerns about its side effects.
I have decided to simply take more oral EIS (haven't been using much
orally this past year), and add a little DMSO to a mouthful once or twice
a day. Also have some D-mannose, but got a big attack of nausea, stomach
pain (high stomach, almost under the breastbone) and diarrhea this morning
after my first dose, wondering if anyone else has had this happen or if it
is just a coincidence. I had also taken some MSM and Ribose, neither of
which has bothered me previously. Whatever the cause, a couple glasses of
EIS fixed it in a couple of hours.

Mike I can tell you the same story...I had an e-coli and got
anti-bioticait did not work...later Nitrofurantoine.it did not
heal and in an alternative medicine book I saw that even
Nitrofurantoine causes bladder disease.!

I make the CS about 4 years now...but for the bladder I have to take more
than normal,that is my experience.

RE: CSCayenne tincture

2006-09-03 Thread Ed Kasper
I think they may have been referring to cross contamination.
That could happen to anything that is opened and say in a
water bottle, is drunk and some of the fluid runs back into
the bottle after being in the mouth. Back flow. Also
possible with medicine droppers. Where the eye dropper
squirts the medicine out but the person is not careful and
lets the pipette come in contact with some surface and
brings it back into the bottle. The European shaker bottle
address some of those concerns.

Otherwise I would not see any problems,

CS may fall out of suspension, or worse bond with some
element within vinegar 0r alcohol or cayenne.
I wonder if there is a test that could check that out.
