This is going to sound gross, but it works to relieve the pain while

put a few inches of water in the bath, and pee while immersed in the
water. If the pain is bad enough, she might be grateful for the
advice. I got it from a nurse some time back, and it does work. The tub

CS>UTIs to acmeair

2007-11-28 Thread zeb caffe
There are several good herbal remedies. There is one that can be purchased at
whole foods called UTI vibrance. Also Native Remedies puts out an herbal
tincture that you can order over the internet. If she is to acidic, herbals can
be problematic so she could try some homopathic remedies . For the burning
urine, slipperly elm is very soothing and will help with the pain. It is
important if the UTIs are a constant problem and keep re occuring, to find the
cause and very important to have the urine cultured to see what antibiotic(If
necessary to use antibiotic) is effective. sometimes, I have been able to avert
an infection at the very beginning by drinking parsley tea. I use organic
parsley and boil it to make a tea. I have tried to cure an infection with
silver and havent had much luck but that doesnt mean that it wont work for
someone else.

Believe it or not one of the approved uses for DMSO is cystitis which
tends to be chronic in some folks, but it is inflammation of the bladder or a

Frequently over the past year I've had several of these infections

There was a post about bladder infections on another site and it

  Okay question:)

I know this sounds weird, and I haven't seen anything about it, but can you
add CS to foods while you're cooking? Will it kill a coli in food, or will it
help keep it from spoiling as fast? Inquiring minds want to know:)

LOL, I have cooking on the brain since two nights before Thanksgiving and I'm
working on my Christmas dinner menu and my weekly holiday baking schedule right
now:)

I know in history people ate from silver and gold plates, bowls, cups,
platters, and used silver and gold eating utensils, but I've not seen anything
about CS and cooking.

Re: CS>Can you use CS to cook with?

One health practitioner who used to post a lot on this list stated that in
their home, they cooked and baked with CS all the time and his children were
healthy -- for example, they never got colds or infections, unlike the other
kids in their school.

It has been stated that silver precipiates out of solution when it's heated.
However, gauging by this practitioner's experience -- assuming that the CS in
the food did significantly help keep the family healthy -- the precipitation
must not be sufficient enough to prevent the CS from working.

I myself have used CS as a base for chicken soup and the soup tasted fine. I
also liked the energy of it.

The only problem I could see is IF the silver were rendered less effective by
heat, you wouldn't get the benefits of it.

That's precisely what I was wanting to know. Hmmm, I would think if you had
silver particles in something and reduced the liquid even by heating it would
leave the solid bits behind, kind like letting the water evaporate from salt
water and what's left is the salt. That's how a lot of the big salt deposits on
earth were made. I think I'm going to try that and see what happens. It
couldn't hurt, I suppose.

I don't cook with it, but I do make an occasional cup of tea with it. I have

Xylitol, so that way I get a double whammy, as both CS and Xylitol are

The tract would be open during urination, allowing EIS to enter more

Regarding Bladder Infections, I give my female dog herbs for a
congenital/heredity problem with bladder/kidney problems. Her litter mate died
with one kidney full of stone, and the other kidney about 3/4 full, and their
father had problems. My holistic vet tried various things and nothing really
worked, but cost me. So I looked in a couple of herb books I have and I gave
her Uva Ursi, the purple cap which is standardized by Nature's Way. First gave
it to her for about 2 weeks, and she eventually bled, probably was her stomach
as it can irritate it. So now, I give it to her as two pills a day for two
consecutive days in a row along with pepcid, each week. Since she has a
chronic problem I maintain her the rest of the week with Echinacea. Done this
for more than 2 years, probably 3. Vet knows I'm not buying stuff from her but
she tells me to keep doing what I'm doing because it's working. This has to be
better than being on antibiotics every few weeks.

I started having problems with repeat UTIs about 10 yrs ago. First time, I had
no idea what hit me and ended up in Drs office. ABX for 10 days, and the darn
thing came back 3 days later.

Then I discovered CS.
I'm a "kitchen sink" kind've person, so I've knocked UTIs out of my life
permanently by putting a scoop of D-Mannose in 1/2 cup of CS, and frequently
put about a tsp of uva-ursi, and whatever other liquid herbals for the urinary
tract that I may have around.

Taking even one dose of the above at the first sign that an infection *might*
be showing up has forestalled every one.

Oh--right before I discovered CS, I did use Lugol's iodine successfully--6
drops 4x a day. I will sometimes put a drop or two of Lugol's in the above
'recipe'just for the heck of it.

use it safely. That would be an easy remedy if safe.

Where do I find the list archives?

No one seems anxious to give you a clue.

There is no complete archives on line.

I have my own from several years.

Here is a small collection of selected files.

if it really is lugols, then it is safe to take internally. if it contains
any alcohol, it's not the lugols formula and shouldn't be ingested. there's
some tinctures around with the word lugols on them that arent.
the CDC has parameters on line about ingesting lugols and limits for daily
intake.

Believe it or not one of the approved uses for DMSO is cystitis which
tends to be chronic in some folks, but it is inflammation of the bladder or
a bladder infection, they use a catheter to wash the inside of the bladder
with the DMSO.

Jim

Frequently over the past year I've had several of these infections
and absolutely hate going to the doctor. I increase the cs to multiple
times during the day and also use Gallium-Heel. Gallium is a homeopathic
medication for chronic illness, viral infections such as colds and flu. It
is manufactured by Heel. This has helped me each time keep from going to
the doctor and having to go thru conventional antibiotics.

There was a post about bladder infections on another site and it
recommended buying a catheter and inject hydrogen peroxide after you reach
the bladder. They said it immediately cures the infection. I haven't tried
that. They said most medical supply stores carry catheters. I don't know
if I saved it but could try and find the post if you are interested.

i know that we have had good posts regarding urinary tract
infections, including bladder problems. with the archives down, i could use
some help from members that have used CS, or whatever, to solve the problem.

a daughter of a friend has a problem with this, and is having some
pain while relieving herself.

any responses on this sure will be appreciated. thank you, jim
