http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=98025

These have a DC current range, but I decided not to use it in
the instructions. I find that having a Multimeter left on the current
range will invariably lead to a person blowing a fuse , which, in the
ELcheapos, would be impossible to find. And I suspect that this does not
bother the manufacturers, as they end up selling more of the them.
Instead, I use a one K resistor and the two volt range of DC voltage
measurement. The resulting reading we'll be in microamps.

Best regards,

Arnold

Few will know the significance of the date, November 14th, 1938.

Yes, some great historical event took place on that date.
( Important to some of us )

Not anything that changed the world, not very much.

That is the Date that I was born ! November 14th, 1938

Not important to everyone, but very important to me.

Only 70 years ago, that is all.

My blood report last week was excellent, only one thing off a point or two.

If you know enough about Blood Reports, being out of range means you

Yes, no scientific standards are reflected in the normal ranges on

Often I think they are indeed a FRAUD !

I have only studied health and nutrition for 50 years.

Some information must have changed, I forgot some, or got he facts twisted.
  Or some of all three.

Some off the books I have read were written in the 1940's, 1930's and back to
1927. Not much scientific information back then. Of course not.

I consider Nutrition to be a relative new science, if it is a science at all.

It may be like a lot of other things, Guess, Wish, and Hope.

Lots I could tell you, but most of the things you know.

The reason for the enteric coating is because without the

Serrapeptase does not directly reduce blood

time to remove plaque and increase blood flow you should see a reduction

CSWAR HERO IN TROUBLE

2008-11-17 Thread gwms624
I know this is not the forum for this but you are some of the smartest people I
know so I appeal to you for any suggestionsMy friend is 65 years old
and has stomach cancer. And he may not make it. I am afraid his last days
might be spent in an alley somewhere in the cold. So I sent his story to the
NY Times, Daily News, NY Post and all the TV stations. Not one single person
has gotten back to me. So again I ask for any suggestions??

VIETNAM WAR HERO TO BE THROWN INTO THE STREET ON THANKSGIVING DAY!

MedalsSilver Star, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Armed
Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon,
Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, W/60 Device, Overseas Service Bar.

Sp4 Armondo Leguillow, now 65, proudly served his country in Vietnam and was
shot in the face, patched up and sent back to the war. The next time it was
much worse. He was shot in the head back and leg and ended up in a coma. His
estranged wife was sent a letter that he was MIA. He woke up in a hospital in
Japan with partial amnesia. He was shipped to a hospital in Korea, then
discharged in 1972 from the Veterans hospital in St. Albans, NY.

He went home to his elderly mother, where she cared for him as he battled a
crippling case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and severe depression. He
did not leave his room for over a year.

Unable to work, he filed for Disability Benefits which he had earned with his
own blood. To his surprise the Army had no record of his service. He called,
wrote and fought for over 20 years to no avail until a letter to President
Clinton in 1996 finally unearthed his long lost records.

By that time he had a flourishing acting career and did not need Disability
Benefits. Tragedy struck once again and his mother now 81, and disabled, her
sister 84, and a mentally handicapped cousin, 67, were left with no one to care
for them. He abandoned his acting career and returned to New York to care for
them. His mother died at age 94, 5 months ago.

Now, he himself has severe health problems which hamper his ability to work.
With no food, and his rent overdue by several months he was forced to apply for
Welfare and Food Stamps. However, he never stopped looking for a job. The VA
came through with a job. But Welfare told him he would not be eligible for
help if he was working. So he did not take the job. After five months of
application after application, day after day, after day spent on the hard
chairs in the welfare office, they refused to help him.

So now this WAR HERO, who was so willing to give his life for his country is
being evicted; thrown into the street on the day most of us will be
celebrating, eating turkey, and giving thanks. We all have something to thank
him for, but will we? Is this the way we treat our HEROES?

RE: CSEnteric coating

2008-11-17 Thread Norton, Steve
I found a homemade enteric coating.
Naturally only food quality ingredients should be used.
It consists of using shellac flakes dissolved in ethanol to coat a gel
capsule with a sprayer. The shellac will dissolve in the alkaline
conditions of the lower intestine but not the acidic stomach.
Shellac apparently is not only a fine wood varnish but is non toxic as
it is produced by a insect for cocooning and is used on supermarket
fruit along with wax as well as the pharmacuetical industry.

RE: CSSerrapeptase question for Steve

2008-11-17 Thread Norton, Steve
Linda,
It looks like a good supplement for digestion but since it is not enteric
coated only about half of the 25,000 units of Serrpeptase will get to the
intestine for absorbtion into the blood stream. The rest of the Serrpeptasewill
be destroyed by stomach acids.
In contrast, I use a 40,000 unit enteric coated capsule which is on the
conservative dosage side. I would look for enteric coating or higher amount of
Serrapeptase in a capsule.
The price is kind of high. You could probably get much higher dosage capsules
at www.iherb.com with priority handling for less.

Thanks for the opinion, Steve.  As it happens, I'm on the iHerb website now,
and will place the order today.  It looks like the Doctor's Best brand is the
best deal, and Tom wants to take it as well, after I read a little of the info

CSnew to list

2008-11-17 Thread Kathy
Hello,

I am new to the list. My husband who is a diabetic, developed an ulcer on
his toe which became infected. He has done antibiotics in the past for
MRSA, and we are trying to avoid a long course of heavy duty antibiotics
again. The initial wound culture is negative for MRSA but we suspect it may
be in there. Can someone recommend a good brand and dose of silver? We
have tried Mesosilver with limited success.
Thank you,

Kathy

his own blood. To his surprise the Army had no record of his service. He
called, wrote and fought for over 20 years to no avail until a letter to
President Clinton in 1996 finally unearthed his long lost records.

By that time he had a flourishing acting career and did not need
Disability Benefits. Tragedy struck once again and his mother now 81, and
disabled, her sister 84, and a mentally handicapped cousin, 67, were left
with no one to care for them. He abandoned his acting career and returned
to New York to care for them. His mother died at age 94, 5 months ago.

Now, he himself has severe health problems which hamper his ability to
work. With no food, and his rent overdue by several months he was forced
to apply for Welfare and Food Stamps. However, he never stopped looking
for a job. The VA came through with a job. But Welfare told him he would
not be eligible for help if he was working. So he did not take the job.
After five months of application after application, day after day, after
day spent on the hard chairs in the welfare office, they refused to help
him.

So now this WAR HERO, who was so willing to give his life for his country
is being evicted; thrown into the street on the day most of us will be
celebrating, eating turkey, and giving thanks. We all have something to
thank him for, but will we? Is this the way we treat our HEROES?

I thought I'd check out what's available locally, just to get started,
and found the following combo product.

Steve, as you know more about this, would you mind telling me what you
think?  I still have a couple of other local places I can check out, so I may
find something else, but this store is very convenient

When I clicked on this, it said something about a photo download, which then
said it was an executable file, so of course, I didn't open it.

Hi LInda , Did the ingredients have Sarrapeptase and Nattokinase  in it ?  Is
it okay to use both at the same time ?

CSSerrapeptase, An Acid Question

2008-11-17 Thread Wayne Fugitt

Evening Steve,

At 06:32 PM 11/17/2008, you wrote:
The rest of the Serrpeptasewill be destroyed by stomach acids.

I understand what you said, and follow the logic.

  The question I have, ..

What if you take it with a decent quantity of alkaline foods, and
the stomach makes no acid?

Will the alkaline dissolve it also?

Or, maybe my thinking is all wrong.

Possibly, half the food we eat, and half the supplements we take has
some similar problems.

Maybe we need a list of which supplements need acid, and which ones don't.

Two facts to consider, most people over 40 do not produce enough acid,

In the group, that is sick enough to go to a doctor, for any reason,
...

90 % of that group do not make enough acid.

And everyone knows, the acid made by a dog is 6 times as strong at
that made by humans.

They can eat rotten meat, old dead rats, and you name it.

So can humans.

Aajonus Vonderplanitz, a nutritional consultant, has advocated high
meat for years.

Re: CSSerrapeptase, An Acid Question

2008-11-17 Thread Norton, Steve
Wayne,
You are correct that it is alkalinity that disolves the enteric coating and
perhaps a alkaline stomach would pass all the Serrapeptase. However you must
not take the Serrapeptase with food. Serrapeptase disolves dead tissue - well
what is meat but dead tissue? You need the Serrpeptase to pass into the
intestine with no accompanying food so you must take it on an empty stomach.
