RE: CSBurns

2010-07-07 Thread Neville Munn

Yes as it happens, I did last year.

Although it's been many years since my last sunburn, and not to go into detail
here, I found with spraying it on it seemed to take forever to start peeling,
and when it did start, it seemed to take forever to stop, and only *dead* skin
peeled leaving nil red and/or 'raw' skin exposed.

I did write my observations down, but that's a brief summary of events.

RE: CSTick Bite

2010-07-07 Thread Ode Coyote

It has to do with spirochete gestation period that only happens after a
certain time after the tick gets a drop of blood.
IOW it's a disease the tick has, lying dormant, that wakes up and moves TO
its gut AFTER it gets a meal and takes time to develop...not one it carries
around in its gut and is, therefore, not in its gut TO regurgitate till
after several hours.

Now...If you get to it AFTER the gestation period, sureproper removal
can prevent transmission.

Wadda I know..just repeating the research.

I get bit several times a year and have been so covered with the little
buggers I couldn't tell my jeans were blue. [and had to scrape them off
with a hunting knife.. FREAKY ]

Twice a day tick search..so far so good.

It helps to have a friend that likes to see you naked...and a tiny little
crowbar.

Ode,
Your statement below is generally not true. Even if one gets the tick off
quickly, as you suggest, the contents of the tick's stomach may have been
regurgitated into the bite and the blood and lymph will carry it to all
parts of the body, quickly, and then start reproducing or hiding until it is
safe to start reproducing. This includes the brain and is known as
neurolyme. We have to remember that the general population, unlike you, do
not have CS running through their body, nor do most even know what CS is.

The reason I say your statement is generally not true is that, many people
do not know how to correctly remove a tick without squeezing it. And if the
tick should happen to be infected, then no matter how quickly you got the
tick off of the body, the contents of the tick's stomach will have been
regurgitated into the bite. Some people are very, very lucky and have immune
systems that are strong and healthy, but read below, and you will see that
not even that is a guarantee that a future attack from that specific bite
will not ever surface.

What will matter and make all the difference to a life is the means by which
one eliminates or kills off the spirochetes and co-infections delivered into
the system through the bite. One may have an excellent immune system which
will help eliminate it or not. But why take the chance. This is a life
threatening disease which can lay dormant in the body for years for when the
immune system is not up to par. These spirochetes are extremely intelligent
and know when to begin their attack. They are pleomorphic organisms and
also some have been designed by humans for biowarfare. The immune system
cannot recognize those designed for biowarfare and so doesn't know that it
has been attacked and do not rev up to fight what they don't recognize.

ABX is indicated for any tick bite, starting with Doxycycline, at around 400
to 600mg/day, until the person knows for absolute certain that they have not
been infected or for taking for a minimum of 4-6 weeks, period. End of
story. A bulleseye rash is only one indication. You don't necessarily have
to have a bullseye rash to be infected. Many Lyme victims have never had a
bullseye rash and they have Lyme Disease.
sash

From: Ode Coyote odecoy...@windstream.net

If you get the tick off pretty quick, there is little chance of any
problems. I get tick bit about every 2 weeks and find one looking for a spot
every few days. Do the tick search daily if not twice a day.

I'd never be OFF ABX if I assumed the worst every time.

A polymer is generally a very large molecule not likely to make it
through the skin.
This one is used in most commercial gels and even baby diapers, seeding
clouds for rain and dipping roots to aid in water absorption with transplants.
No ingredients listed on the package, but I think it's identical to
Terrasorb granules.

Works real good for that too.
I uprooted 12 inch tall tomato plants, coated the roots in the powder
equipment handling wash water that had gelled and bare root slit planted
them. NO wilt or transplant shock even at 98 deg F out.

..then after a month. the deer ate them down to 5 inch tall
stubs...but it looks like they might still grow new leaves.

I'm not sure that I would use the polymer that Ode has on his site without
checking it out since the mix has DMSO in it. I would think the DMSO
would also carry the polymer into the body and I don't know what that would do.

I would imagine that a little gelatin or agar could also be used as a
thickener but it would also have shelf life issues, perhaps??? Anyone
have any ideas about this. Also, what about either of those two being
carried into the body? Or perhaps coconut oil could be utilized somehow
to keep the skin moisturized???

Hi Gayla, The mix is to be used topically-- Because DMSO is a carrier
used to carry the CS, (EIS) to the problem I remind those that I give
the Mix to that they should be sure their skin is clean before they put
it on..(the DMSO will carry what ever is on the skin along with the CS.
) I also suggest that they put it on a very small area first to make
sure there is not a reaction to the Mix, It may smart a bit when it
first goes on but that seems to go away fast... ( the glycerin is to keep
the skin from drying..)
The CS (EIS) is what they take by mouth... The 2 people with
shingles took 1 tsp CS at a time. after awhile they didn't really
measure...Just took a swig 1 or 2 times a day. After awhile they didn't
even need it every day..
I know you can take DMSO orally with CS but I doubt the glycerin is
a good idea to take by mouth... Maybe someone on the list can answer
that ??? Lois

Re: CSRingworm

2010-07-07 Thread Lin
We deal with 50 or more cases of ringworm per year at our feline shelter of
primarily kittens. Over the years, we've stopped treating with oral meds
for it and only treat topically. We have found that what works one year for
treatment or cleaning environment (other than bleach) might not work the
next year. Suggestions by rescuers in the Southern States, don't seem to
work for us here in the damp Northwest. There are different ringworms, or
it mutates.

Many volunteers also pick up a spot or two of ringworm on themselves and
again, what might work great for one person won't help clear it in another.
There have been a few humans that ended up with so many lesions that they
had to stop volunteering. Those people also had other health issues that
involved immune systems.

Some people the lesions became almost crater like and others nothing more
than just a light scaly patch. Only a few have complained of it being very
itchy.

Several posts back someone mentioned that they thought ringworm is a fungus
and also a virus. My vet described it in this way...that an animal will
usually have a few patches of ringworm topically and heal on it's own in 6
to 8 weeks, or if immune system is compromised it can go systemic and last
much longer.

With any of the cats at the shelter that couldn't kick ringworm with topical
treatments, then we work to build the immune system using supplements.
Several years ago in the toughest cases we had to give oral antifungal,
using pulsed dosing, which is less medication, less often, stretched out
over a longer period. At the same time, milk thistle seed should be given
to protect the liver.

Cleaning the environment from even one case of ringworm in a home, with a
pet is a major undertaking. Spores can end up anywhere and live for years,
just waiting for a host.

It sounds like the cat that this thread began with is in need of more than
topical treatments. Even with as much ringworm we deal with at the shelter
there have been times we've misdiagnosed, especially with a couple of those
tough, long lasting cases. There are a few other things that a cat can
get that look similar. A few ended up being allergic to fleas or flea
treatment. We've seen very few cases that the cats were so desperately
trying to scratch as the cat described in this thread.

Hope you find relief for this cat soon.

Hello Joy,

You can make a very effective spray against ringworm by placing 10 ml of
5%

sodium chlorite in a glass, adding 10 ml of 10% citric acid, swirl to mix
and let the activation continue for 10 minutes. Put this in a spray
bottle

and add enough water to make a total of 500 ml.

Spray it on and let it air dry.

You are welcome... and lucky. I've been looking for a blue key chain light and
haven't been able to find one although friends tell me they bought them in the
same box stores I look in!

Blue light is cooling and works well to take the heat out of anything red and
inflammed.

Have you done any research on trichonosis (symptoms, etiology, prognosis)?
Have you sought a second opinion? IMHO, if it were me I would do both of these

CSTick Bite

2010-07-07 Thread sms
Before Mike asks us to take this to the OT list, I'll post this one last
piece of info. Because this is the Silverlist, I will add that CS is
regularly used and is considered a staple. Many Lyme victims purchased
their own generators as they realized early on that purchasing CS is
expensive.

Over the years, there has been so much mis-information and error in guidance
having to do with this subject, that the best I can do is to direct one's
attention to a relied upon and credible source of information as determined
by many lay persons, professionals, educators, etc. within and outside of
the Lyme community. I know I depend on this site for excellent, unbiased
and well-balanced information, as well as the Lyme groups I have belonged
to and provided links to in the past. (See below for the link.)

Also, Bryan Rosner, publisher and author, has exceptional information on
his blog as well about everything having to do with Lyme Disease and more.
He owns and operates the BioMed Publishing group and has published several
of his own Lyme books including the Top 10 Lyme Disease Treatments, and
another on Lyme Disease and Rife Machines. He is highly knowledgeable and
greatly respected in the Lyme Community and there is a wealth of information
and many excellent health books.

Canlyme . com is an excellent site to find information on the Disease, it's
transmission, it's prevention and treatment, and probably anything else
anyone wants to know about it.

I can offer fifteen years use history for everything from eyewash to
disinfectant of kennel runs. Sure prevention for everything from Parvo on
down. Excellent for internal use, for everything from mastitis on the cattle
and small herd animals. Great for foot rot, as a drench on the hooves. Human
use too. Even used it on seedlings and cuttings on propagation. Excellent as a
preventative for any of the multiple health problems we humans have. We use
it every morning in a four ounce glass after breakfast, and nobody ever has a
cold. My theory is that it works on our immune systems.
I use the dark kind because that is the form which contains lignite. And by
reading, that is supposed to replace all sorts of things which are deficient in
our diets.

All the water from dehumidifiers I've had has been filthy. The mechanisms
haven't been particularly sanitary... but thanks for the suggestion.

What about using the water from a dehumidifier?

Hi,

have used a Love distiller would you share your experience?

 Thanks.

Re: CSRe: Williard Water Information

2010-07-07 Thread MaryAnn Helland
Well -- information like this is so subjective.  Mostly I've used it for my
horses.  When one of my horses was dealing with EPM, I added WW to his drinking
water because one of the qualities of WW is that it takes medications and
nutrients, etc. -- more deeply into the cells of the body -- so it makes those
things more effective.  Did it do this?  Well, I don't know what would have
happened if I hadn't used Willard Water, so I'm not sure.  I can tell you that
the horse survived -- when very few EPM horses do.  And that he's still alive
ten years later.  And that the product that I wanted carried more deeply in the
cells of his body was Colloidal Silver.

I am currently using it for a different horse who has Cushings Disease -- a
metabolic malfunction.  Again -- he's doing well, but I don't know how he would
be doing without it -- and I don't want to experiment.

One thing I can tell you for sure is that when we were raising poultry
commercially, we did run an experiment where we added WW to the drinking water
for the chickens in relatively minute amounts.  Every flock that we raised
where
we added WW was healthier, with lower mortality and significantly lower cost of
feed to weight gain ratios -- which resulted in bigger paychecks.  That was a
measureable result.

The booklet *Catalyst Altered Water* is a wealth of information, and lists a
ton
of uses for Willard Water.  If you already own some, it really would be in your
best interest to get a copy of that book and put your WW to work.  I'd be very
interested in hearing how it works for you!
