Hulda Clark also warned that the water companies are obliged by law to sterilize their bottles with certain chemicals. In the video, Mercola said that he adds a little Himalayan Salt to Reverse Osmosis water to return minerals. He also said that any water filter is better than no water filter. He uses well water himself, but he does run it through a filter. R -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. RE: CSDistilled Water....MORE Toxic than Municipal Tap Water?!
Pure water is an excellent solvent. Membranes are intelligent and selective reverse osmosis filters that purify water as it goes in so it can carry impurities out. If it DOESN'T dissolve minerals that have reacted with *whatever* and done their jobs, you are stuck with all those nasty used up minerals and no new ones will have room to get in...you have stopped a natural cycle. A solvent carries things BOTH ways. Nature hates both a vacuum and a pressure. It doesn't matter if the water you drink is distilled or not, your membranes will purify it as best they can so it [and associated mechanisms] can transport mineral nutrients from food also at that interface.if anything, a little help in that area won't hurt a thing. There might be a little bit less crap in your crap is all. If there are minerals in the input water as well as in the food, the best ones will be selected, as needed and the rest passed on. My bet, most of them will come from the food and in the absence of minerals in the water, All of them will come from the food. Now, if your input is less than the output because you are starving, leeching may become a problem...but impure water input is still selectively purified by the membranes even if there's nothing there to carry in with it. IOW Your body isn't STUPID...it's quite well designed to adapt. If this were not so, everybody who has a green or blue stain in the sink from a dripping faucet..wouldn't have a functioning nerve left in that body. CSLiposomal Glutathione
Hi, Is anybody making their own liposomal glutathione? We have had such a positive experience using lipo-C, made according to the Brooks Bradley formula, that we would like to try the lipo-glutathione as well and I was hoping to get a recipe and instructions from somebody who is already doing it. We are concentrating lately on supplements that enhance the immune system. One that we have had great success with is IP-6 Inositol. While this is known primarily as a cancer fighter (http://jn.nutrition.org/content/133/11/3778S.full) it is also a powerful immune system booster and has many beneficial effects with no reports yet of any negative ones of any significance. I take the pill (4 in the morning and 4 at night, on an empty stomach) because something in the IP-6 powder has a bad effect on my intestines - the pill has no such effect, so I know it is something else in the powder, probably the stevia, which I can't tolerate. Of course, we take five thousand units a day of Vit-D3. We like supplements that work right away. We saw immediate benefits from the IP-6, and even more dramatic benefits from the lipo-C. We have tried others, such as Beta-glucan, with no noticeable result, so we discontinued. thanks, Del -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. CSLate Breaking News: one day to stop Food Safety Bill!!! Please forward
Time Sensitive Bulletin From Alliance for Natural Health: Please forward this message to everyone you know who cares about the Food Safety issue, and ask them to take action TODAY, since the bill will almost certainly be voted upon tomorrow, Tuesday 12/21. Sunday night, in one of the most underhanded and outrageous legislative maneuvers we've seen, the Senate passed the language of S. 510, the Food Safety bill, by a unanimous consent agreement. It now goes to the House of Representatives. We have one last chance to stop it! As we told you http://aahf.convio.net/site/R?i=vcdZcODE3vA7CrUCCQbJAg.. last week, Democrats first attempted to attach the food safety bill to the short-term spending measure to keep the government running, but Republicans balked because they wanted to keep that measure clean. So last night, the Senate raised it as an amendment to a completely unrelated bill from the House of Representatives-H.R. 2751, the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act! Quite a number of reports, including some from other health organizations, have gotten many of these details wrong. The swift approval by unanimous consent caught some aides and lobbyists working on it by surprise. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) had promised to block the legislation, but lifted his objection at the final moment. Reid announced he would send the legislation-this time attached to a House-originated measure-back to the lower chamber for final approval. Please contact Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and your own Congressional representative immediately and urge that the Food Safety language be completely stripped from H.R. 2751 the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act! We believe Pelosi would prefer to bring up Food Safety under suspension, which is an expedited House procedure that requires a two-thirds vote to pass. We need you to urge her in the strongest possible terms to bring it up under regular order-no more expedited deals, no more underhanded maneuvers! Tell her that the Senate's passage of this bill at 10 p.m. on a Sunday night doesn't give the public an opportunity to weigh in-and you don't want the same thing to happen in the House! Tell her this issue is too vital for you and your family's health to allow it to be considered outside of regular protocols! Please send a http://aahf.convio.net/site/R?i=r5BqJ2dF0t2e9BANqtfD3g.. message to Ms. Pelosi and your representative TODAY! image001.gif
Re: CSDistilled Water....MORE Toxic than Municipal Tap Water?!
My experience with Mercola has been pretty positive. On his website I can find around 70,000 articles on virtually any subject of alternative health. This is a huge service he provides without charge. With respect to his hyping his own products to raid our wallets, his products are generally at the low end of the cost continuum, AND, he often recommends the products of other companies at the same time he offers those he sells. I have found his products to be of very good quality, and better than products I have bought instead (but googled to find the lowest price--for instance the countertop convection oven). Often I have read an article on his free email newsletter program and decided to try the product recommended, only to find that his company does not sell it! Another service that has been valuable is the unconditional refund. I bought a gallon of coconut oil maybe 5 years ago, but did not use it because I was allergic to it. I talked to someone with the phone number provided on the email newsletter, and they said I could mail it back for a full refund (and just received $76.56 back). Mercola is very knowledgeable, and consults with others who also have much knowledge and good contacts. I don't have the time, nor inclination, to do all that footwork. That said, one should be very wary of living one's life according to authority. The reason most people are authority conscious is that it takes a tremendous amount of time, effort, and responsibility to do otherwise. It also takes a certain development to be able to catch oneself in the authority thought stream, since most everything in our brain library is of this authority ilk. Those of us, like Einstein, who have managed to observe this process from a distance have gone very far with this discriminative ability, and have made tremendous contributions to the rest of us by building thought systems (and resultant actions) on a ground of actual experience. On a more practical vein, humans have many health issues in common (i.e. the structure and physiology of the human body), but we also are unique in many ways. This last fact argues against One Size Fits All medicine, be it conventional or alternative. We can read sources such as Mercola (and many others), do our own research, but ultimately, for me at least, it comes down to what my body tells me it wants and muscle testing (or pendulum dowsing) for collaboration. To see our body as solely physical, a separate entity--separate from emotions, beliefs, energy systems, and separate from our surroundings, is to have a false picture of the body, and of its needs. Lately, although I know and have available what I should be eating--pure water, unprocessed foods, vegetables and fruit without pesticides, I seem to require a quart of soda once a week, choose a hamburger and french fries on weekends, and seem to crave a lot of sugar and carbohydrates. If one cell within a body were sick, we wouldn't treat it in isolation, because it is too affected by the other cells to survive on its own. Possibly the human body is similar to this single cell, and is enclosed within, and dependent upon, a much larger system for its well being... I also find I eat less than half the amount of food than I did last year, and need eat only once a day. Jill In a message dated 12/18/2010 6:15:05 A.M. John: For many years I was treated for allergies through NAET (_www.naet.com_ (http://www.naet.com) ). In addition to being treated for thousands of allergies, as I was allergic to most everything I breathed, touched, or ate (most people have no idea of the importance of allergies, the illness that results from them, and varieties and numbers of allergies they may have impacting their health), I was treated for many months alone for my allergies to various water chemicals. Many others attending this same clinic had similar problems and tried to drink distilled water to avoid the allergens in water chemicals. According to the founders of NAET, these people generally get sicker, do not heal from the problems they already have, and are resistant to treatment. This is the first-hand experience I have on this issue. Jill In a message dated 12/19/2010 8:20:19 A.M. Pacific Standard Time, jpetras...@yahoo.com writes: I appreciate the feedback about Mercola. Re: CSBrooks - teeth whitening
Jaxi, Here it is: Several times during recent years we have conducted examinations of commercial products designed to whiten teeth. We experienced very limited success. However, recently, we completed a somewhat more detailed investigation and were able to find a single product which, did, indeed, display an excellent ability to whiten teeth, quickly---and to do so without attendant pain or discomfort...at least such was our results. I feel somewhat professionally uncomfortable, even juvenile, in stating the name of the productCelebrity Sexy Teeth. In spite of its rather sophomoric identifier, this substance did, indeed, produce whitening improvements up to 8 shades among the volunteer populationsometimes within 10 to 12 days. Some of the other products had cost prices which would equal over $600.00 for a full treatment regime. None of these highly-hyped products equaled...or even approachedthe effectiveness of the Celebrity product. All of the products which exhibited any useful effect, contained varying percentages of hydrogen peroxide. However, and this is the reason for my submitting this email.we were able for a cost of mere pennies, to produce a simple mixture that was SUBSTANTIALLY more powerful than the Celebrity product (which, by the way, was not overly expensive). Our homemade solution was produced in light of the fact that we had determined the PRINCIPAL advantage of the Celebrity product seemed to lie in its superior ability to rapidly affect the deeper regions of the enamel.than did any of its competitors. After simple variations in strength ratios between common commercial, drugstore hydrogen peroxide, and DMSOwe arrived at an acceptable compromise between user comfort---and rapid results. Our most acceptable mixture (all parameters considered) turned out to be one of approximately 80% (by volume) of 3.5% Hydrogen Peroxide (the standard drugstore variety) and 20% DMSO (full strength parent solution). One easy way for the novice to mix is to pour about 2 tablespoons o! f H202 in a very small glass and about 1 teaspoon of DMSO. Caution: As DMSO is highly hygroscopic, one should always pour the DMSO into the parent diluent. The actual method-of-use of this solution is at the discretion of the experimenter. Some persons simply hold about a teaspoon of the solution in their mouth and brush their teeth with a toothbrush for about 20 seconds. However, many persons are intolerant of the bitterness of this percentage of DMSO and/or cannot tolerate the gag-reflex sometimes presenting. Therefore, the most acceptable method among a majority of our volunteers was to simply use a common Q-Tip swab which had been enlarged by adding enough additional cotton to about double the sizedip it into the solution and generously paint the front surface of the front teeth. Effectiveness was enhanced by keeping the top lip above the treated surface for about 2 minutes. It was, also, worthwhile to paint the teeth a second time about 60 seconds into ea! ch protocol. A second 2 minute application became standard procedure for the voluteers during the course of this research investigation. Some of the volunteers utilized stronger H202 solutions (up to 6%) and some employed much stronger DMSO fractions (+20%). However, the one outlined above proved to be most effective.and was DEFINITELY SUPERIOR to the commercial Celebrity product-which was the only one of the commercial variety to yield acceptable results during our investigations. None of the volunteers experienced any untoward side-effects, whatsoever, while using the paint on method just outlined. A majority of our participants enjoyed quite rapid whitening and in shorter time-spans than with the Celebrity product. Incidentlyat about 1/50th the cost. I hope some of the list membership will find this information of value. CSsolubility of silver oxide?
Wikipedia lists the solubility of silver oxide as 25PPM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_oxide I am wondering how this reconciles with talk on this list of silver hydroxide and silver oxide each having a solubility of about 13ppm, for a total of 26PPM (roughly the same as 25PPM?). I wonder if wikipedia is using the word silver oxide to encompass what we mean by both silver hydroxide and silver oxide together? For example, if you put silveroxide in water, say its solubility was found to be 26PPM Then say you put silver hydroxide in some water, and say its solubility was also found to be 26PPM. (is this what we would actually find?) But this wouldn't say what is actually in the solution at the end. It only says what you put into the solution. Am I right to think that doing either of those two experiments would result in a solution that had the same stuff in it, even though different stuff went in initially? Also, when we say that that in theory, EIS can reach a PPM of 26, don't we actually mean: In theory the PPM of dissolved silver ions can reach 26PPM, and there may be some additional PPM contributed by particles of silver, so in theory EIS can reach slightly more than 26 PPM. ? CSHIV testimonial question
There is a testimonial on the silvermedicine site about an injection of H2O2 and CS combo. What is interesting about this is that so little CS was used. I wonder if something like this could help people with lyme and company (i.e. me)? I researched a lot into IV CS and found that people needed like 8oz at a time IV. I am wondering if the peroxide really made the difference in this person's treatment? There wasn't an email address otherwise I would have contacted him. I hear that IV CS really stings badly, so 2ml would be wa preferable to 8oz, and a lot quicker and cheaper. After a legal document had been signed relieving him of any responsibility of the outcome of the undertaking the treatment began. It was calculated to inject 2mls H2O2 at 6% and 2mls of colloidal silver, produced by Silver Colloid Australia Pty Ltd (which the Professor thoroughly checked) three times weekly for one month. Re: CSsolubility of silver oxide?
Several years ago when Marshall was talking about silver oxide, silver hydroxide, and H2O2, I suggested that we could take enough silver oxide by weight mixed with distilled water to make about 25ppm solution and combine them with some H2O2. If his theories were correct it should make colloidal silver which is identical to what we make with electricity (EIS) when we add the H2O2 a few days after brewing. Re: CSHIV testimonial question
I'd be really careful about this. I don't think it is advisable to inject 3 or 6% H2O2 straight like this, even if it is only 2cc. Dr. William Campbell Douglass' book on Hydrogen Peroxide has case studies where they were giving repeated doses of 250ml of .0375% for chronic conditions and .15% up to .3% for acute conditions. So, the total H2O2 is probably more, but the concentration is much more diluted. Re: CSsolubility of silver oxide?
Hi Neville, I think PPM might mean whatever you define it to mean. I was trying to invent a term that accounts for the mass of silver in just the ionic form. So say for example silver oxide has solubility of 26 mg/liter. Then in theory the soluble Ag content of EIS can reach 26 mg/liter. In addition to this, there can also be some silver in particles. So in theory, I am thinking that means that EIS could have higher than 26PPM total (both ions and particles) while still having good particle size (if made my some magical process of electrolysis) =) ~David On Mon, Dec 20, 2010 at 7:25 PM, Neville Munn one.red...@hotmail.com wrote: David, PPM refers to mg of silver {in total} per litre of water as established under laboratory analysis does it not? Re: CSHIV testimonial question
I knew a quack that gave lots of IV peroxide. I might ask him what concentration he used next time I get a chance. I remember it was 2 cc's. People might be interested to see this study on nanosilver and HIV: http://www.jnanobiotechnology.com/content/3/1/6 It says that only nanoparticles of silver from 1 to 10 nm in size attach to the virus in vitro. That may explain hits and misses with HIV patients and CS (if there are hits and misses) depending on the product used. That is also if you believe the ions don't do anything to HIV, and it is only the particles. ~David ~David On Mon, Dec 20, 2010 at 7:49 PM, Dan Nave bhangcha...@gmail.com wrote: I'd be really careful about this. Thank you that is just the posting I was looking for and thought I had saved. On Mon, Dec 20, 2010 at 4:28 PM, Craig Chamberlin craigs...@craigcchamberlin.com wrote: Jaxi, Here it is: Several times during recent years we have conducted examinations of commercial products designed to whiten teeth. Re: CSsolubility of silver oxide?
Yes, I recognize Karl's name. He is very extreme and is into uncontrolled, massively high ppm silver products and uses large amounts of peroxide as well. I had in mind a more moderate amount of Hydrogen Peroxide and a known amount of silver oxide in order to make something equivalent to our CS or EIS product without using electrolysis. It sounds like the guys done it before. I bet lots of folk here recognize the name of the poster. He says to save the sludge from your CS cathode and add peroxide to that to make high density EIS (i am guessing it can go beyond 26 ppm?). I wonder what exact form the silver in the sludge is in? http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/silverdatawebsite/message/3798 ~David On Mon, Dec 20, 2010 at 7:19 PM, Dan Nave bhangcha...@gmail.com wrote: Several years ago when Marshall was talking about silver oxide, silver hydroxide, and H2O2, I suggested that we could take enough silver oxide by weight mixed with distilled water to make about 25ppm solution and combine them with some H2O2. If his theories were correct it should make colloidal silver which is identical to what we make with electricity (EIS) when we add the H2O2 a few days after brewing. I wish someone with access to silver oxide powder would test it out. Dan -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Re: CSsolubility of silver oxide?
An interesting note is that Frank Key has some kill studies that used mesosilver at both 20PPM and 75PPM: http://www.silver-colloids.com/Pubs/biostudies.html I wonder how the particle size and ratio differ. Ya, Karl has a website where he offers to sell samples of high density colloidal silver (not EIS). I would honestly try both high density EIS and CS at least once if I had samples. My observation has been that CS is very effective across the board, but people peak at some point when battling serious infection. Then if they go IV, they make progress again. So I would definitely say CS is limited by its ability to reach the needed places in the needed concentrations. I also remember seeing some in vitro kill studies that indicated that higher PPM EIS was more than just proportionally more effective than lower PPM EIS. I'd have to look to find it again. Like the time to kill wasn't just a linear relationship versus PPM. It was curved. Anyway, what I am getting at, is that a volume of say, 10PPM CS may actual be more effective than twice the volume of 5PPM CS. And this might get much more pronounced at higher PPMS. So like if you took 1 ounce of 320PPM EIS, that it might be much more effective than 32 ounces of 10 PPM EIS. Doing this would ingest the same total amount of silver. Though this may not carry the same risk of argyria if taken this way. ~David On Mon, Dec 20, 2010 at 8:03 PM, Dan Nave bhangcha...@gmail.com wrote: Yes, I recognize Karl's name. Hi, MA: I use an about(abt) measurement;). abt one Tablespoon each of honey and apple cider vinegar in abt 8ozs. of water. The honey dissolves quicker if the water is heated, like hot tea. But I prefer to stir longer and use refrigerator cold water. Tap water can be used but I like bottled spring water. I drink mine a few minutes before bed, but if I need it, anytime. After some months, I only drink it when I feel I need it. I use to take 20mg. of Omeprazole twice a day. Now I'm free to eat anything I want without fear of reflux. I hope it works as well for you. Re: CSDistilled Water....MORE Toxic than Municipal Tap Water?!
Hi Brickey. That's very interesting. So it sounds like you're addressing the issue all day long (until five hours before bed) -- and getting good results. You're the second person that uses probiotics as part of your treatment plan. It makes sense that disgestion would be aided by that. Thanks for sharing all of this information with me.
