My only experience with zappers is building one from the diagram on SOTAs'
site. Easy enough to do, especially with vector type protoboards. I don't have
any particular health problems, so I can't say if they help or not.
I think Marshall has had good experience.

I also built a "Thumpy" out of a RS partystrobe and a tape deguasser, adding in
a 250 uf electrolytic. That sucker got rid of a bursitic type pain in my elbow
that was hanging on for more than a year. I was impressed because I call all

Re: CS>what does this mean?

1999-12-04 Thread Charles King
Dennis,
Found this in a newsgroup. You may be able to use it:

Dear Kali, I've talked with several people who use DMSO for tinnitus. They
put it on a
q-tip and touch it to the back of the ear before the bone. A chiropractor I
know tells a story about a football team who used it with tylenol(?) (I
can't remember now) and many contracted Lou Gehrig's disease. That's hard
to believe and somewhere it seems I heard that was not the case. Do you
have any info? C. Bond

Yeah, it's an old, old (1975) from the Annals of the New York Academy of
Sciences 75:243:468:74. Hasn't been replicated. From what I can tell it was
very subjective and not double-blind, but at least it is not totally off the
wall - might be something there..

"In fifteen patients affected by essential nonvibratory tinnitus, local
applications in the external auditive canal of 2 ml medicated DMSO spray
were made. The spray solution contained DMSO integrated with
anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory substances. This application was repeated
every four days for a month. At the same time each patient was administered
a daily intramuscular injection of a preparation that contained DMSO and a
vasodilatory component. The therapeutic effect was evaluated through the
subjective modification of the symptom and functional tests of the auditory
system. Of the fifteen patients treated, the tinnitus symptom completely
disappeared in nine, and did not return during a one-year observation
period. The patient's symptoms diminished in two cases, and in four cases
the permanent tinnitus became occasional, triggered principally by
environmental cold. It is important to note that among the concomitant
signs, the five patients with vertigo noted improvement. Hypacusis
diminished in three of the six patients affected. Insomnia disappeared in
eight and diminished in seven cases. The rise in the average tympanic
membrane temperature from 36.8 degrees C before to 37.9 degrees C after
treatment was noteworthy. This could indicate an improvement of the blood
flow in the inner ear."

I don't completely understand the question. Are you trying to get graphics into
Word, or are you just trying to see the graphic?
If in Win98, you go to Start/Settings/Folder options, under the file types tab
you can associate any file type to be activated by any program that's
registered. Thus, my graphic types (jpg, pcx, etc) are associated with ACDSee.
Whenever I choose to run a graphic, it automagically opens and displays in
ACDSee.
Probably better to go offlist with this.

Blindness, Mad Cow Disease and Canola Oil
By John Thomas

Millions of people have suffered the loss of their vision from glaucoma,
a disease involving atrophy (deterioration) of the optic nerve. For years,
"experts" have been telling us that glaucoma results from fluid-pressure
buildup in the eye that causes the optic nerve to deteriorate. This theory
was based on an incorrect medical model: They were wrong!

Now, the experts have admitted that this is not true and have given
birth to a new theory. According to it, glaucoma is instead caused by a
deficiency of of oxygen and blood flow. Finally they are on the right trail.
In the end, they will discover that glaucoma is the result of insufficient
blood flow due to agglutination (clumping together) of the red blood cells
and waste buildup in the cells and intercellular fluids.

These blood-corpuscle clusters cannot squeeze through the extremely
tiny capillaries in the posterior of the eye, so cannot deliver oxygen
to the mitochondria.1 This is what the problem has been all along, and
if people continue to eat soy*2* and canola oils, a lot more of them are
going to experience vision irregularities - like retinitis and macula lutea*3*
degeneration.

Death of the mitochondria in the cells in the posterior of the eye
is due to oxygen starvation, sodium toxicity and waste accumulation. When
the mitochondria die, the cells die and the posterior eye tissues atrophy.
In this respect, glaucoma has much in common with hair loss, Alzheimer's
disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and hearing problems.

There are several things a person can do to reverse these debilitating
conditions. Biologically friendly water*4* is basic to all rejuvenation,
as is fresh, viable food. Detoxification of the tissues and body fluids
is accomplished with yucca extract, Kombucha tea,5 PACs*6* and colon therapy.

Rape Seed Oil or "Canola"?

Canola is a coined word. It appeared out of nowhere and is not listed
in any but the most recent reference sources.

The flip side of the canola coin reads: "rape"! You must
admit that canola sounds better than rape. The name canola disguised the
introduction of rape oil to America.

Canola oil comes from the rape seed, which is part of the mustard
family of plants. Rape is the most toxic of all food-oil plants. Like soy,
rape is a weed. Insects will not eat it; it is deadly poisonous! The oil
from the rape seed is a hundred times more toxic than soy oil.

Canola is a semi-drying oil that is used as lubricant, fuel, soap
and synthetic rubber base, and as an illuminant for the slick color pages
you see in magazines. It is an industrial oil and does not belong in the
body!

Canola oil has some very interesting characteristics and effects
on living systems. For example, it forms latex-like substances that agglutinate
the red blood corpuscles, as does soy, but much more pronounced. Loss of
vision is a known, characteristic side effect of rape oil which antagonizes
the central and peripheral nervous systems=20 again like soy oil, again
worse. The d

My comments referred to adding a milliamp meter to the simplest of setups.
That is: 3 battery, 2 clipleads, 2 silver electrodes that are bent to clip on
the edge of a glass of distilled water.

Anything else will take some simple innovation.

If your device is complete with silver electrodes attached, you'll have to
leave your device on the bench and use seperate new silver as above.
Run one clip lead from the meter to one of the electrodes on the Beck device.
Run one cliplead from the other meter terminal to a new silver electrode on the
glass.
Run a third cliplead from the other Beck electrode to the other silver
electrode on the glass.
Set the meter to read current, or milliamps (depend on your meter).
If you draw it out, it's pretty simple.

A volt-ohm meter is a multimeter, so named because they usually measure
voltage(volts), resistance (ohms), and current( amps, milliamps).
Cheap ones are usually accurate enough for general experimental and household
use.
They come in two types. Analog, which reads as a pointer on a scale, or
digital, which reads out as numbers on a screen.
Digital is easier to use by far. Used to be very expensive, not anymore. Well
worth any difference in price over a analog in the same range.

If you place it on the milliamp range, in series with one of your silver
electrodes, you will know the current going through your water.

Distilled water will start with a very low current (usually about 0.25ma or
less). As your process continues, the current will gradually rise. You should
stop the process before you get above 2.5ma). This usually takes less than an
hour.
If your starting current is NOT low, your water is contaminated.
If it doesn't rise, you've pulled a Marsha. Keep it to yourself...

Got this from a website Dennis:
Chuck

A Brief History of Ear Candling
by Cheryl Ashby, C.C.T.

Ear Candling is not a new alternative therapy. Dating back to the year 2500
B.C. there is evidence showing that people used and were familiar with the
practice of ear candling. Ancient cultures, including the Egyptians, made
reference to its use. Parchment scrolls discovered in the Orient, also have
described the procedure for ear candling.

This ancient therapeutic art may have been developed with the domestication of
the honeybee. Beeswax was -- and still is -- a key component to making the
hollow cylinders used in the procedure. The principal cloth used by ancient
Egyptians was linen made from flax (the fibers of an annual blue-flowered
plant).

Today, as in times past . . . high-quality, ear candles are handmade from
beeswax and unbleached cotton cloths. These specially fabricated candles are
typically nine (9) to twelve (12) inches long and will burn for approximately
ten minutes.

Through a process called "convection". . . softer waxes and toxins will be
drawn out of the ear, oxidized and turned into vapors during the procedure.

This simple and time-proven therapy can be very effective in removing old and
troublesome blockages from the ear canal, without the use of solutions or
probes. Many people are rediscovering the value of Ear Candling to cleanse the
ear canal and sinus passages.

Ear Candling is a good example of how an almost forgotten
simple and natural therapy, is now being used effectively to solve
many problems associated with the ear.

Tyndall effect is being able to see a narrow beam of light as it is shone
through your solution.
Most of us have used the, now inexpensive, laser pointers purchased at novelty
stores, flea markets, etc. Don't pay more than $10 for one.

Use it on your distilled water before a run, and you will feel a bit more
confident about your water (no tyndall).

Then try it during and after your run. If you see tyndall, great. If you see
it sharply, great. If you see sparkles in the beam, uh, oh. Sparkles mean large
particles or clumps. Not desireable, cut back on your run time.

None of this is really necessary if you follow the recipe and time window for
the 3 battery system. It's just a fun thing to increase confidence in your
product.

Actually I do it both ways, lately HVAC.
I don't really concern myself with ppm, I shoot for an effective product.

My criteria is a clear to golden brew with a metallic taste that shows tyndall
without sparklies. Really, simple as that! It's just easier with HV.

My last run with HVAC, I experimented with 10 megs of resistance to limit the
current to less than a milliamp (9kv transformer). It appears that it could run
for days at that current. I stopped it after 8 hrs.

I would think from your description above, that you ran it a bit too long or
your water was contaminated.
When I first set up, I used tap water to try it out and got what you described.
Don't use a cleaner (soap or detergent) to clean your container! Remember,
you're a guy!!
Without current limiting, my run would be about 2 hrs max.

It's a fine, easy to follow diagram, but a beginner should avoid extrapolating
from explicit directions. Pure silver only, please. Pre-1964 coinage is NOT
pure, but an alloy with metals you do not want in your system. It's easy enough
to get .999 silver. The DIRECTIONS state silver ingots, usually available from
coin dealers, NOT silver coins.
This setup is pretty much exactly what I used for my battery CS generator, with
the exception of the silver shape (I used 14 guage wire). I know it makes good,
useful CS, although I have no idea as to ppm.

That's a childs magician trick! Air pressure is keeping the water from
escaping. Does it stay in even when you swirl the bottle?
You may have to increase the hole size.

I wouldn't think so. All of this stuff is approximate. Use 3 or 4 nicads if
you're doing the 3 battery setup. You'll have to recharge more often of course,
and your battery costs will be way too high initially.
 Frankly, I don't see a real advantage. Regular 9v carbon-manganese should last
between 6 months to a year or more, and would cost less than $5 for 3.
What are nicads going for, $8-$10 each?
I'm still on my first group of 3 batteries!

That's certainly a reasonable assumption!
If it were me, I'd make a simple generator so as to be able to make large
quantities without going bankrupt.
To get CS into the gut, I believe it would be neccessary to swamp the system
with as much as 4 to 8 ounces at a time.
I would also (after 4 to 6 hours) try to reintroduce friendly (don't wince)
bacteria by eating unpasturized yogurt. Most lacto-intolerants can take yogurt
as it is predigested by bacteria action.
But, that's just me!
Please, whatever you do, post your progress?

On my setup, one electrode is immersed and coiled on the bottom of the jug. The
other is suspended above the surface of the water by approx 1/16"

>What type of jug are you using? (wide mouth? etc)
Yes, wide mouth, approx 3/4 gal.
>What ppm did you achieve with the 9kv setup?
Have no idea. It's effective, that's all I really care about. If you need that
kind of info, samples can be sent to Bob Berger on the list. He's got the
proper equipment. The TDS1 will not measure ppm of colloidal silver.
Bummer,'cause it only cost $15.

Get it from Marsha on the list. Then you won't have to go for a $25 minimum.

As above. The cone happens when you turn on the juice. The water will rise to
meet the suspended electrode. If it drops off, arcing will occur. I don't know
if thats good or bad. It would happen on a straight run (no resistance in the
circuit) after about 2 hrs. I would end the run then. My sol would be a light
golden color, indicating satisfactory small particle size. The water would be
hot.

Knock yourself out! Your working with high voltage. All safety precautions
apply. I am only relating my experiences, you're on your own!

I am posting this to the list, as I believe it is of general interest!
