seen half a dozen exchanges like this. It's a little scary. MA

P.S. to that last message -- I'm not on any medications and since learning
about Colloidal Silver several years ago, haven't needed antibiotics for
anything and haven't been sick.Thanks.

 What is EPM?

It is Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis -- a protozoal infection that horses
can acquire from exposure to possum feces -- generally just from grazing in
pastures where possum have had access. Most horses simply develop antibodies
to the infection but for unknown reasons, some horses don't (or do but
inadequately) and the protozoa migrate to the cells of the Central Nervous
System
where they destroy the host cells while they build colonies of protozoa,
commonly
referred to as *lesions*. This process does enormous neurological damage to
the horse, usually resulting in total loss of use of the horse and/or death.
The research and vet communities don't understand the disease and can't cure
it, although they'll be happy to sell you one or all of several drugs which run
anywhere from $200.00 to $2,000.00 per month and only interrupt the disease --
most horses relapse within 30 days of stopping the drugs. So that's the
wonderful world of EPM. MA

I've wondered about that myself. But I take Colloidal Silver every day, and

care of it long ago. I know that I've cured an ulcer in a horse with CS so
it should have worked for me too. I also do not know if one can have an ulcer
and not have HBP. What kind of lab would do the test for you? Would you have
to go through a doctor in order to have this test, do you know? MA

Actaully the problem with silver citrate is that it was reported in one

It was my understanding that all electro-colloidal silver crosses the
blood-brain barrier, because the particles are so small. For those of us
treating
EPM in horses, this is definitely a good thing because the protozoa that we are
trying to kill resides in the cells of the CNS. I've never heard before that
silver in the brain can CAUSE neurological problems. I would appreciate any
elaboration on these subjects -- crossing the blood-brain barrier and causing
neurological problems. Thanks. MA
