CS>Cilantro

2009-09-18 Thread Pat
When we have Mexican food, we eat lots of cilantro. I have a few mercury
fillings and at least one I could not get rid of if I wanted since the tooth is
barely held together with it and would need a crown. I wouldn't get all the
fillings changed out even if I could afford to since I fear nothing more than
dental work (and I have a very gentle dentist that rarely hurts) So I should
use bentonite or some kind of clay after I eat these meals? I never feel
different after eating a lot of cilantro.

This can also be a herx reaction from the released heavy metals. The first time
I chelated it made me quite sick, but I kept on it, until it made me sick no
more.

Doesn't that just highlight the human differences?

Cilantro is an acquired taste. Start out with a little and work up.
It is indispensable in Indian cooking and a lot of oriental dishes as well.

Of course, if you think of it as medicine you can choke down anything. ;-))
The taste of a wad of cilantro is actually quite different than eating it in a

Cilantro is the herb, Coriander is the seed. To my knowledge it is the
Cilantro, the green leafy plant and not the seed that chelates mercury.

I can't get enough of the stuff and will eat it by the handfuls on
Tortilla Soup, in Pico de Gallo (chopped onion, tomato, garlic and
jalapeno peppers), with lemon in a pot of rice, on just about any
mexican food. It is also known as Chinese parsely and is one of the
unique flavors of that cuisine. I can't make hot and sour soup without
it.

I have known people who are highly allergic to it though and will become
immediately nauseous if they eat even a tiny leaf.

Happy Turkey Day!

Hi Garnet & folks,
SWMBO told me when I thought I found something new here, that Cilantro is
most commonly known as Coriander. A lot of people can't stand the taste of

By the way, more health problems are caused by not getting enough salt than
is generally understood. Salt is vital. BUT not the white crud sold in

Hi,

Dr. Y. Omura, M.D,, made the discovery himself, while testing himself
for mercury after having dental amalgam removed, I believe. He noted
a dramatic change from a previous test and narrowed down the possible
causes. Omura was the first to identify cilantro as a heavy-metal
precursor. He is also the man who advocates EPA/DHA fish oil as one of
the most powerful anti-viral/bacterial agents known to man.

Omura is a genius who is undeservedly obscure.

You can buy cilantro extract, make your own tincture, or just eats lots
of it. It grows very fast so you can grow your own in pots on the
patio,

or in a warm sunny window.

Some people are sensitive to cilantro so start with a small amount.

2000-08-20 Thread Black

jeannine,
Thanks for great testimonial about chelating metals via cilantro. I seem to
remember lots of discussion on cilantro a couple of months ago and warnings
that using cilantro without detoxifying first could backfire and cause more
problems than you started with. apparently this cautionary procedure does
not square with your experience, right?
Did you eat the cilantro leaves right off the plant, or process them in some
way?
Glad you are feeling better,
Nancy

Hi Jeannine,

I am very intersted in what you eat - as much per day as you can get down -
for chelating out heavy metals.

I have been trying to get the mercury, from my now removed amalgam fillings,
out of my body for a long time.
Does, whatever it is you recommend, remove iron as well or only mercury and
lead ??

Looking forward to your reply,

Sue.

2000-08-18 Thread Tai-Pan
Hi Marshall,

Don't recall what Jeannine said she was using it for. She is temp. off list at
the
moment. Maybe someone else remembers. Think she said it was for chelation.

I use it on food, guess you could put some baking soda in it and call it
toothpaste or make a facial cleanser by adding some Corn Huskers lotion and CS.
Actually aloe gel may be better than Corn Huskers lotion.

I grind the nuts into a powder and pass the Coriandrum leaves (cilantro)
through a
juicer (save the pulp to dress plants). Thats how to get rid of lumps.
My juicer is a Juiceman Jr. model.

1 clove garlic

1 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
2 tablespoons lemon juice

put cilantro and oil in a blender and process until cilantro is choped - then

Re: CS>Cilantro & Toxicity

2000-04-02 Thread JIM WRIGHT
Nancy,

Please keep in mind that I was merely posting material that came to me on
the net. It was not written by me, and was not original to me. I,
personally, know no more about the subject than you. Anything contained in
that article was written by someone else. The offer about Pro-Algen was not
made by me, but by the author of the article. I know nothing about Pro-Algen
either.

I thought I had better clear this up before I got credit for knowlege that I
do not have that could get me into trouble later.

Jim Wright

Jim,
Thank you for your post re cilantro & toxicity. You recommend detoxifying
before using cilantro- do you mean an intestinal cleanse, such as sold by
Dr, Richard Schultz of American Botanical Products?
I am interested in your offer to obtain Pro-Algen, as I have bought plants
of cilantro and want to use the leaves for metal removal but don't want to
risk making the matter worse, as you say was your experience.
Appreciate your help,
Nancy

Re: CS>cilantro (was chlorella)

2000-04-02 Thread Ron Burnett
Jeannine,

I never heard of cilantro, but did a web search. Apparently it's the leaf of
the plant from which coriander - the seeds - is taken.

Do you have a source of information about it?

How about dosage?

Do you get it from the supermarket, health food store, or where?

Do yo use the fresh plant or dried (McCormack's, etc.)?

I do remember a metallic taste from curry, and someone remarking that it was
coriander. That was before I would appreciate something that would pull metals
out of the body.

You could put the cut up leaves or seeds in gel caps, which you can get from a
health food or drug store. I've seen them in Vitamin Shoppes, so you can
probably get them at http://www.vitaminshoppe.com.

I know what you mean Dennis. I think that must be many people's
reactions. I have a friend who said she didn't like it because it tasted
like dishwater. I told her I couldn't say since I'd never tasted
dishwater. ;)

CS>Cilantro

2000-03-31 Thread Dennis J. Woods
Now I understand why I hate the taste of Cilantro. Every time I discovered it
in food I was eating I also noted a strong metalic taste in my mouth. It must
have been a rapid reaction. Instead of eating more Cilantro to assist
cleansing, I avoided it like the Plague!
Thanks for mentioning Cilantro on this message board!
