Aloe vera gel with CS. Don't forget to mix in the CS, very important. The Aloe Vera supplies nutrients to the tissue while blood is cut off so it doesn't die and has a number of healing agents in it. The CS prevents infection, and allows injured cells to revert back to juvinile cells so that they can form the proper cells, thereby eliminating scar tissue. If you have a gaping wound then it will fill with blood, which if you have silver ions available will convert to juvinile or stem cells, which then become whatever you need to heal totally and completely without scaring. List, An older Hispanic woman (bit of a curandera I think) told me once to use a piece of steel smoothed over the healing cut daily. She had quite a deep cut on her forehead and there was very little scarring when she was finished with thisdon't rub hard but be firm. Why this worked? Aubrey Cosmetics has a rosa mesquita oil which is specifically for scars. I saw before and after studies. Was about ten bucks when I bought it. Any health food store should be able to get it in. Whenever the skin is cut, a scar is formed, the only question is how noticable the scar is. Whether the cut is along or perpendicular to stress lines in the face makes a huge difference, so does heredity. Many people have great luck with breaking open vitamin E capsules (the type where the Vit. E is in a solution of oil) and applying that (taking some internally too!) Vitamin E is excellent for skin healing. As it usually is in the form of an oil, it is not good to use on pimples and acne outbreaks, however, it is good when used in a light formula combined with natural oils such as jojoba, almond etc. as a skin moisturizer, wrinkle reducer. I use Vit. E periodically on wrinkle prone areas and always use it on old wounds that need to heal with no scarring. There are several combination formulas that work just as well, but some people prefer the simplest method. Does anyone else have suggestions for treatment of scarring? A good topic to investigate I believe. The worse the physical scars though, remember, the longer the healing process. If the skin has been extremely burned to the point of being charred and disfigured, there is little in the way of natural healing that can return it to its former state. However, there are things that can help in the reconstruction process were this the case. I do not remember the nature of the initial post about scarscan you please comment as to what kind of scar it is, what caused it, where it is located, and the age of the skin it occurred on, as well as the skin hue...this can help estimate percentage of healing possibility.
