[RCSE] 8103 programming for spoileron. HELP PLEASE !!!!
Hi all, Now that I have a power system in hand, I'm finally doing the setup on my Ariane V6 F5B ship. Does anyone have a guide handy for setting up the throttle on a switch (gear would be best I suppose) and spoilers up as I drop the throttle stick? I am trying to reconstruct a sailplane to help get a friend out of a 2mtr floater. I need a right wing (obechi covered) for an Airtronics Peregrine. This is the forerunner of the Sapphire. My left panel has the clear finish on it, but will consider what you might have as long as it is sound. TIA Jim Larkin

HI, OK, time to get a new transmitter for the gliders so I looked at the Multiplex EVO 12 Synthesized unit. Then I find out that the mixer function and control layout are Global and any change in one model, changes all models ? Scratch that one off the search, so now who sells the Profi Multiplex 4000 and do you have them in stock ??? Re: [RCSE] Profi Multiplex 4000
Hitech usually has them in stock. You might also look for a used one on the exchange. Blows the socks off EVOs or anything else. RE: [RCSE] Profi Multiplex 4000
Don't be scared of the Evo, for the reason you state. The mixer definitions are global, not the values that feed those mixers. For example, you can define a mixer for elevator, that accepts inputs from flap stick, camber, and of course elevator stick. That definition is global. You could easily share that among all your gliders. The input parameters (%'s, etc) are unique to each model. You're not likely to create a whole lot of mixer definitions once you get a full-house model setup. Best wishes, whatever you choose. Re: [RCSE] Profi Multiplex 4000
I think you mis-understood that about the EVO. The mixer declaration is global, but the amount of mixing is not. Also, there are 5 predefined mixers, and 14 mixer slots, so you can define plenty more mixers of your own. So, for my EVO, I have a mixer for say, the elevator output, that mixes the elevator stick and the flap stick. That mixer itself, I can use on any model and if I change it to say, add alieron stick input to the mixer, that change will apply to all models that use that mixer. But the amount of mixing is unique for every model. -Charles On Sat, 12 Mar 2005, Sinoker wrote: HI, OK, time to get a new transmitter for the gliders so I looked at the Multiplex EVO 12 Synthesized unit. Re: [RCSE] Profi Multiplex 4000
That and the fact that one cannot copy/restore a single model into the memory (it's everything in or out) pretty much eliminated it from the running for me, too. Kinda short-sighted for a company that touts the flexibility of their radios. Re: [RCSE] 8103 programming for spoileron. HELP PLEASE !!!!
Hi Mike, I was aware of your method, but have no need for a proportional throttle. At 14 cells and 120Amps, the plane is either climbing like heck or gliding, and I only get a few seconds of run time per climb or the batteries and ESC are gonna give me a bad day. As a result I'd prefer the throttle to be switched for simplicity's sake. I did just get a novel idea, however. I'm going to go back to my manual and actually look at if for a few minutes. Heck I'm not a dumb guy (keep it down Sheldon), I'll just have to work it out. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I went down the same path some time ago. I have a Profi I'll make you a good deal on. snip They are for sale because I found the JR9303. Ironically enough, this past weekend my friend had to bring two radios out to the slope, his new JR9303 and his older Hitec Flash 5, because he could not reassign the channels on the 9303 to work with one of the planes he brought. Apparently, to for the elevon mixing to work right you have to put the servos on channels 1 6 with the 9303, but as he has a 5 channel Rx that wasn't going to work. I don't know if he just wasn't familiar enough with the 9303 or what, but I do know that re-assigning servos to channels and/or controls is a trivial undertaking with the Profi 4000. I got one about a year ago and have been absolutely loving it ever since! Steve RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
