Re: [RCSE] Re: Batteries??
I have had only good dealings with them. I have placed both phone and web orders. All were handled quickly. Bill Swingle Janesville, CA Definitely!I ordered some shrink wrap over 2 weeks ago. When I called today (second attempt), I was finally told that they did not have any in stock, and they expected it by the end of next week. 1. They should state that an item is not in stock at the time of order; or at least in the order confirmation email. 2. I received no notifications that there was a problem with the order. 3. I had to call twice to get an answer for the delay. Had this company been upfront with me about not having one of the items in stock, it would be a different story. Batteries America is Absolutely Pathetic! I had a similar incident with Depron USA, *BUT* they emailed me immediately to tell me one of the items I ordered was out of stock, and they would send the items they did have, and send the other item later at their cost. Because they were so great in responding and offering to make an extra shipment at their cost, I told them they could hold the order until everything came in. They were just super to deal with. -- Jeff Steifel RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Ref. Batteries America Oh this is rich,Now they can't receive any emails because there mailbox is full. Probably full of complaints. Here's a quote from the the order confirmation email: If you have any questions about your order, please contact us at 608 831-3443 or via e-mail at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Well the email part doesn't work. RE: [RCSE] Re: Batteries??
I've order quite a few batteries from Batteries America over the years. But recently I've found other vendors that have a bit better service and faster delivery. So I've moved on and Batteries America has kissed my business goodbye. I have had good service and products from them, but only with phone transactions. Web orders and e-mail are ignored. I will probably try another vendor next time around. Tom DR1Driver wrote: Ref. [RCSE] Re: batteries
On a 70A 510EN battery you will have 20-30 starts on a calibrated F3B winch deppending on the conditions, models used and setup of model. Most important is to change battery when you feel the power goes down AND charge it the same day. If you run a car battery empty or store it empty it will be ruined or become poor quickly. So what is your battery size and how many launches? I may need to take multiple batteries or buy a new one. Thankyou.
