I plan to buy a new ship. Choices are great. I'm considering a
Tsunami, Graphite, Graphite2, Tragi 705, Stork 2 Pro, Pike, Icon and any
others that are in this league. I'd appreciate advice as to which to
get, and why. Also which servos are "best".
FWIW, my Tsunami page:

Life keeps getting in the way, so it hasn't been in the air yet, but it
impresses the heck out of me. My only complaint: they didn't paint
the stabs to match the wings (missed this one for some reason), not that
the stabs are visible when in the air anyways.
If its good enuf for Arend...

Tell us more about your experience and your flying style. We'll be better
able to advise. If you don't know your flying style then buy the one you
like to look at the most.

The best servos are "the most expensive you can afford". Personally I
think the JR
368s are the best - or at least the most expensive I can afford. :-)

Can of worms well and truely open.

It depends. My Wizard has Multiplex micro digis all round although they were
fun to fit.
My Nyx Furio has Multiplex Digis for the elevator and rudder, HiTec wing
digis for the flaps and volz wing max for the ailerons which was mostly
about fitting them in. My gulpsr has Multiplex micro digis, mini-millan has
jr341 all round. My small gliders have cirrus and others have hitecs.

As to ships - what sort of flying are you looking at? Slope? If so, take a
look at the NYX F3F or Furio if you want a bit more of an all rounder. Also
the Wizards.

If you are in the UK, Andy Ellison has written a nice artical on slope
planes in one of the mags this month,

All of the planes mentioned are excellent. I've owned many sailplanes in my
36 years of modeling and truly the best one for you is the one that suits
your flying style. If you are a fairly aggressive pilot and like to range,
the Icon can't be beat. If you like something that fly's a bit slower,
something with more camber will be to your liking. The Graphite looks to be
the least expensive while you might need a second mortgage for the Icon, +
the long waiting list.

As for servos, the JR series of digitals are top drawer. Actually any of
the digital servos will work well. I prefer the JR and MPX digitals myself.
