Does it say Radio? It's certainly about the Controller. Yes, it refers to the Radio: Oops... I forgot to update that message. Will be fixed in an upcoming build. But it's cosmetic only. I'm pretty sure it's your Controller causing the message. What firmware version are you running on the Controller (Einstellungen/Erweitert/Info)? I've no idea what happened, but now it's working again after a hard reboot (yanked power and plugget it back in) of SBR. Here's what I did: 1. I checked the DHCP server log and found that it last got a lease 16:20 today 2. I tried pinging the IP number it got a lease for, and got "Destination Host Unreachable" 3. I looked at the SBR and the front LED was shining stead white (which is "connected" according to this: https://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SBR_front_button_and_LED.html) 4. So I yanked the power of the SBR and plugget it back in 5. The LED cycled through red-white-green-white 6. The DHCP server showed that Squeezebox had gotten a fresh lease 7. I tried pinging the squeezebox and that worked fine 8. The SBR showed up in LMS So somehow the SBR went offline with the front LED still shining white. (I can't remember that happening before in all of the years I've owned the SBR... probably not a good sign...?) ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

The cue files looks like the previous problem cue file and so fix should work. To see what is happening. Can you enable logging formats.playlist to WARN and then do a "clear library and rescan everyhting". This will give a manageable level of logging. Check the log file for message like Code: [20-12-19 22:13:12.0195] Slim::Music::Import::runImporter (577) Starting Slim::Media::MediaFolderScan scan [20-12-19 22:13:12.0197] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Local::rescan (179) Discovering audio files in /mnt/hddrive/home/albums . . I don't think so. If you had the problem before then the previous scan would not complete. With this change it should. The parser should either log an error if there is an error in the CUE file or else tolerate an unsupported CUE file (maybe with a log warning) and leave files playable. The latest build should have a fix for this issue. It should discover these non compliant cue files and skip them (which is the behaviour we had in LMS 7.9.x). Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0.0 running, but does not play files
I'll add this info the on the github comments later today. I don't use or know CUE so I had to create the test album with info from OP. The problem is with a CUE file which has a special variant supported by a few applications (e.g. foobar2000 ?) . It is documented here https://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title=EAC_and_Cue_Sheets#Multiple_WAV_Files_With_Gaps_.28Noncompliant.29_-_a.k.a._.22Append_Gaps_to_.28end_of.29_Previous_Track_.28default.29.22 I used EAC recently downloaded 1.6 version from https://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ OP used EAC 0.99b I used instruction from this web site https://www.angelfire.com/magic2/hq-audio/l/eac-extracting.html This generated a CUE file referencing Wav files for each track but outputted flac files for each track so I had to edit the CUE file to change track file name extensions from ".wav" to ".flac" bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113355 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Once I could reproduce the issue, I reverted to pre Nov 10 (e.g. Nov 8) as I thought the Nov10/11 changes broke it but found functionality was broken pre Nov 10 - so I then thought it might be something odder such as remote handling. To be certain of cause, I reverted back to Jan 2020 (i.e. 7.9.2) and in binary search style moved forward until 8-Oct. Functionality first broke in 8-Oct. Changes in Nov-10/11 - didn't completely fix issue but made UI symptoms different. Under "Albums" all tracks are listed twice each with a "cue" & "flac" entry. When working there is only one entry. In "Music folder" for an album - the "flac entries for each track are not playable but tracks can be played via the "cue" file entry. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113355 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Good news, I mean that you can reproduce the error. EAC automatically insert gaps at the end of the previous track, by default. And the CUE Sheet that correctly matches such layout is the "Multiple Wavs (Noncompliant)" format. But i have changed from EAC CD to EZ Audio Converter since last year. But I do not know which CUE-Format this Ripper produces. But as you said it must be linked to the change in Version 8.0.0 because before I had no problems with both CUE-Sheet versions. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0.0 running, but does not play files
I've reproduced the error and will now try to see why it has been broken. You are using a cue file format called "Multiple WAV Files With Gaps (Noncompliant) " The cue format is unusual and "non-compliant" which seems to mean it is non standard and only supported by a few applications. This may be the reason why so few users have reported the issue. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0.0 running, but does not play files
Tapaballou wrote: > There is nothing special with my cue-Files, just plain EAC-Cue Files. > 32452 That is the issue. LMS used to work and now a change to fix some other feature has had a side effect which breaks another valid feature. The only clue is the use of "cur" type - a cue reference file which is different from "cue" type which is an "ordinary" cue file. So it is necessary to confirm or eliminate that this is the problem. I briefly looked at the cue file and it is is valid. Many cue users have a single Flac or WAV file - your cue file has a file per track and it is a multi disc album - so I guess this makes it a "cur" type I can now create a test disc to this cue format to see if error can be replicated. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113355 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0.0 Keeps Rescanning Media Library
I turned off the automatic scanning for Spotify when it became apparent that these scans sometimes removed all of my integrated Spotify albums. I guess this was caused by intermittent connection problems. Yeah, the recent issues with 429s could have caused this. I've never experienced it myself, though. I should probably make the integration depending on whether there's a custom client ID or not. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0.0 Keeps Rescanning Media Library
I "solved" it by going to Settings -> Advanced -> Online Music Library Integration and setting -ALL -dropdowns on top to "Integrate online library but do not automatically check for changes". In my experience it it is not enough to just set the dropdown for the services you actually use. I had to set all the dropdowns like that. It should be good enough. You can enable logging for the online library integration to see what is triggering the scan. Either it's yet another bug here, or a problem with one of the services, which would return invalid data, triggering the scan. There's a bug in 8.0.0 and Deezer integration which would always trigger the scan if you had the Deezer plugin enabled, but were not using Deezer (which might be the case for the vast majority of users...). Disabling Deezer should do the trick. Or using 8.0.1. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Can attach to a post a cue file (may need to zip it) for one of the problem file . I have tested other cue files and they work OK. Do you use cue files ? I checked the "Cue" file changes which I thought might this problem were made in NOv 10 & 11 (changed, reverted and changed again) - so your Nov 20 version shoudl eb up to date. If you use cue file can you post one of the problem ".cue" files. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113355 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0.0 on ReadyNAS Duo V1 - not working
Hello Roger, This topic is covered in the following 2 threads:' Upgraded from 7.9.1 => 7.9.4: Logitech Media Server died. Restarting. ' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113274-Upgraded-from-7-9-1-gt-7-9-4-Logitech-Media-Server-died-Restarting)'Media-Server-7-9-2-not-working-on-ReadyNAS-Ultra' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113243-Media-Server-7-9-2-not-working-on-ReadyNAS-Ultra) The end line is that REadyNAS old Raidiator OS is no more compatible with the latest LMS. So either you stay on 7.9.1 for the remainder of your life (or the NAS's, but I won't count on that) or you upgrade the Ready NAS to OS 6 and install 8.0.1 or 8.1.0 and further... Good luck! I couldn't see it on the QNAPclub EU repository, so I manually downloaded the qpkg from https://www.qnapclub.eu/en/qpkg/545 I used the TS-ARM-X19 version (TS-x19 have the same architecture as TS-221 - Armv5tel) Then do a manual install of the qpkg, that took quite a while, so be patient. This installed LMS 8.01, I believe you can reconfigure QLogitechMediaServer to not use nightlies, you'll have to read up about it a bit more or ask Digimaster on the QLogitechMediaServer thread. Of course, this is just my experience, I can accept no responsibility for any such install on your QNAP TS-221 or any issues it may cause. Sorry can't help to resolve this on SSOTS, I contacted the developer of SSOTS back in April 2015 when the bash security issues were found and we chatted about the possibility of updating SSOTS, he couldn't really help as he had moved on from LMS and didn't have the build platform anymore, we fudged around it, Ralphy built an updated version of bash and you could manually "insert" that to resolve the bash vulnerabilities, but there were other libraries in SSOTS that were out of date with vulnerabilities as well, at that stage I moved over to RaspberryPi for LMS, more secure, more recent and ongoing support, my QNAP still has all my media files it just serves them across the network to the RPi and players now... been rock sold since April 2015, using either Max2Play or piCorePlayer for the server base install. In the meantime forum member Digimaster developed a new QNAP LMS package "QLogitechMediaServer" to run LMS directly on QNAPs with all the latest libraries etc, here's the thread for it: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?108702-QLogitechMediaServer-for-Qnap-with-QTS-4-2-or-higher-and-x86_64-I686-X86-support-! He's done a fantastic job and still actively supports this package, if you have to use the QNAP for LMS I'd consider moving away from SSOTS onto that. Awesome stuff. Glad I managed to do it all correctly! I've only had LMS running for a few weeks and had no idea the OMLI was coming so was very pleasantly surprised when I saw it in v8.
