I have one of my three SBT on a separate isolated network streaming from my Squeezebox.com. I added the ClassicalRadio.com and ZenRadio.com. I added the ClassicalRadio app and it appears on the SBT, but won't stream and shows the error "Can't resolve IP address." As has been discussed before the hostname they distribute for the free streams is no longer valid. It's a problem on their eind. Pandora (free) and Radio.com will work, but not the TIDAL app. That might be due to using the LMS and the TIDAL plugin on a different audio system set up in my house? I can't ping message-stream.audioaddict.com either. Hopefully this is just a temporary hiccup on their end. Where does the list of URLs come from in the app? They provide an endpoint to which I send your session information, and the channel ID. They would return the stream URL. If your credentials allowed it, they'd send the higher quality stream, otherwise the "free" version. The odd thing is that I added logging to that call, to see what we're getting back. And I can't find a single call (or response to the call). @mherger It doesn't work for you? What can I do to help with this? All the streams are working for me. I haven't tested recently (I actually implemented Zen months ago, but thought it didn't work...). I've added more logging to the service, trying to understand why you wouldn't get the higher resolution streams. But I don't see any output for the past few hours. Are you connecting to the US or the EU datacenter? Where in this world are you living? The ZenRadio app uses the same low bit rate (96kbps) streams. But it does play at all? That's already good news, because I haven't been able to validate this. I'll have to dig some deeper. Unfortunately we hardly have any information from the network. I've contacted ZenRadio (https://zenradio.com and https://www.di.fm/) So did I - months ago. And I never got a response back. So FWIW I hacked something together based on the other of their stations. Please give it a try and tell me whether it does work for you. Which "plugin" are you referencing? Squeezebox.com servers?
Despite the company's claim and "Terms of Service" agreement dated
5/21/2019, stating "...the Platform remains free for users that choose
not to subscribe to a Premium Account." their various radio stations
kick back errors and refuse to work with my SBTs.
I've contacted ZenRadio (https://zenradio.com and https://www.di.fm/)
via their website. The first response, generalized, was from a Jovana
Borkovi in Customer Support. The individual did not address any of
my specific questions regarding ZenRadio or integration into Logitech
Media Server. "We already support Squazebox." The email suggested I sign
up for either an 1 or 2 year subscription to "test it out" with the
option of cancelation if it failed to function. I found the email
address for the support department ('DI.FM' (http://di.fm/) Support
Team), but they refused to address anything specific to my questions.
The whole experience is very impersonal and not conducive for building
trust, particularly when providing access to a credit card. DI.FM, Inc.
is registered in New York and Radio Now, LLC in Colorado to a Gregory
Ari Shohat. Until I have some greater assurance that the service can
work with LMS, I'll be taking a pass despite their "free 30-day" offer.

The plugin provides drop down lists of all the channels vs cutting and pasting URLs into the favorites in LMS. I have been using the RadioTunes and ClassicalRadio plugins with a premium subscription for several months but recently all the streams have changed to 96kbps through the squeezebox plugins. I thought you wanted to add the URL of a playable stream to your current play queue and save it as a favorite. That's what the directions I gave would do. Some SB models (Boom, Classic/SB3, Transporter, Receiver/Duet) cannot play AAC. They'd need the server to transcode it. myst.com does not do this. You'd only be able to play these streams on SB Radio/Touch, or by using LMS. The file is a playlist ... it is a small text file that contains the URL(s) to the real stream. So just open it up in a text editor and paste the contents into a PM to Michael. I can do it later on if needed (am not at computer where it is sitting). Should edit the links to remove the key - and send the contents of the file by PM to Michael. I've tried it ... works from Chrome but not mplayer - so something special going on ... It is AAC delivered by Icecast. But perhaps something odd in the way it is done. I ve subscribed to RadioTune, ClassicalRadio & JazzRadio Premium. The problem is Im unable to play these by using the app and connecting to mysqueezebox.com, I get error messages like "Transport end point not connected" "unable to resolve IP /stream" etc. The only way I found I could get them to play was to connect to LMS on my Macbook Air, add each URL /opml manually to favourites using the web remote control from LMS. But all this ceases if the laptop is closed or shut down.. All others radio stations play properly so far without having to go through LMS. How do I get Radiotunes to play without LMS?
