Macintosh Linux or UNIX

Then why, pray tell, does your link say "windowshtmleditors", and "free-
windows-editors" and the page say:

"The 10 Best Free Web Editors for Windows
Free HTML Editors for Windows"

"The following editors are the 10 best free HTML editors for Windows,
both WYSIWYG and text editors, in order from best to worst. "

I am not responsible of the choice of words inside links and/or in a web
page written by someone else.

May i just mention that your preferred editor

Bluefish is present in the position 4. A not so bad position :-)

Hey, Ant, on my SM 2.9.1, my e-mail addressbook, abook.mab, is located
in my profile, one level up from the mail and Local Folders folders,
i.e. at the same level as my places.sqlite, which I think is the new,

Oh SM v2.9.1 can reuse the old SM v2.0.14 *.mab files for addressbooks?
I didn't know that! I will have to try that! :)

The https uses akamai servers:

www.motogp.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names:
  a248.e.akamai.net , *.akamaihd.net , *.akamaihd-staging.net

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

$ host www.motogp.com
www.motogp.com is an alias for motogp.com.edgesuite.net.
motogp.com.edgesuite.net is an alias for a1661.g.akamai.net.
a1661.g.akamai.net has address 204.2.133.66
a1661.g.akamai.net has address 204.2.133.81

So when you attempt to use ssl, the cert is for akamai instead of
motogp.com.

So, how did that happen? What can I do about it?

All advice will be gratefully received!

Test, have a look at Tools->Switch Profiles. Do you see any profiles
there that you didn't know you had?? If so, switch to them and see if
they contain your missing e-mails.

If not, report back for more advice!!

Deleting the msf file and letting Seamonkey remake it seem to have fixed
my lost email problem.

That's one way. The other is to right-click the folder and choose
Properties. Then click the Repair Folder button.

I will try that next time I have a problem. Thanks.
