The bookmark backups will not restore, but if one exports them as HTML, one can import them. To stop automatic updates, what I did was go into about:config and change these settings: app.update.auto -> false app.update.enabled -> false app.update.silent -> false Well I cant logo into Tools > Password Manager it crashes Also it crashes if I want to use this forum. To me that is BAD. -Stan ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Have to click on Back key twice
I have my Windows set so I only need to click once on things, but I find that when I click on the Back key in SM that I have to click twice. Cookies, ID used to login to site, trust settings for certificates ... all can either identify a particular PC or get in the way of accessing a site. That said, the most typical issue that causes a site to magically become blocked is malware on the system. It appears it was DNS Cache negative value so the XP command ipconfig /flushdns fixed the problem Strange. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Second question: Is SM Window created profile compatible with SM UBUNTU created profile? In other words can I get my profile folder from the windows and move it into UBUNTU. If not is there any import feature on the SM UBUNTU to import SM Window profile? Just copy the entire directory from your Windows machine into the Ubuntu system. Everything will be carried over except any plug-ins you had. All extensions will also be copied over, but the Windows-specific ones will no longer work. That is exactly what I did two years ago and everything is still working fine. OK Guys it did worked including Add-ons. Only thing was that my profile has lot of data so it took me 6 hours to transfer by FTP to my server.
