Yes it does, it is the Default after all. ;) It seems to be the default
on Windows and Linux, as well as OS X. The default theme is geared to
the OS, and looks rather different depending on the OS, but it is the
default.

Modern Theme is available. You might check Sailfish's site for some others:

http://www.projectit.com/

From communicating with Pat, Simple Green and Cold Fusion are not going
to be ported to SeaMonkey. They are based on browser only versions of
Netscape, and cannot be ported easily to the suite. However, there are
several other options, Sky Pilot, and Modern Mozillium as a couple of
examples.

I have become very fond of the Venerable Modern theme. I also hove a
fondness for KaiRo's Star Trek theme, though I admit it is a bit of an
acquired taste.

I wish Pat would respond to my question in the projectit forum about the
conflict with SkyPilot and QuoteColors extension I've emailed and put a
post on there forum at least a week ago if not more. They act like as if
Sailfish is on vacation or quit fooling with it. Or its been abandoned.
I even have setup to email me when a response given.

The author of QuoteColors has tried it on a Mac and determined it
because of the SkyPilot theme. And I have verified it using the modern
theme.

I haven't heard from him in a while either. From what I understand, he
has been very occupied with other aspects of his life, but is not
abandoning his projects. Obviously no one is making money from SeaMonkey
themes, so we need to be understanding. :)

Actually, I think it was over a year ago that I asked about the idea of
porting Simply Green and Simply Blue to the suite, and the answer was
no. Being at base browser only themes, extending them to work in all
the components of the suite is a far from trivial matter. Sky Pilot is
a different matter, I'm sure he will get around to it when he is able to.

time there are a lot of Icons missing. ans some of the menus are funny
looking. It does have grippies though.

Interesting that you mention Walnut. I used to use it regulary with
Firefox, though it was Phoenix/Firebird then. I remember one update to
the program that broke the theme. I spent an afternoon going through
the jar file and got it working again, and came away with a new
appreciation for themers. Its not that easy.

Hi Rudra,

in the browser, simply go in View - Apply Theme - SeaMonkey Modern and
restart SM. You should be all set.

Actually the default theme has been vastly changed to as what can best
be described as Playschool eye candy, and if you using the Mac version
the Grippies functions have been removed because supposedly it went
against some edict from apple as to how the GUI should look like.

Check with https://www.projectit.com/. he has some seriously great
themes that both have Grippies Function and and looks decent.

https://www.projectit.com/ The developers Name or (Nick Name) is Sailfish.

One great looking Theme is SkyPilot. if you don't mind Quote Colors not
functioning Correctly. Of Course I haven't tried it with QuoteColors
since QuoteColors had come out of Beta and now at version .0.3

Until (and if ever) cOLD Fusion and, especially, Simple Green are
compatible, I'll stick with Modern. I just don't like the look and feel
of the other ones (which I have tried). What's with the dark or flashy
interfaces?
