But very slowly on Seamonkey 2.3 (I only have an eeepc 1005HA).

If you're under Linux, being slow is expected, as we don't have any
hardware acceleration enabled for Linux, and WebGL is really slow
without hardware acceleration.

In about:config filter for 'webgl.osmesalib'. Mine is set to

It works for me using FF6 on Linux. You may also need to allow WebGL in

Yes, I do see something in Firefox 5. (I see only black in Firefox 4).

1. The page appears to use WebGL. Go to this link and check if your OpenGL
driver is whitelisted.
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Blocklisting/Blocked_Graphics_Drivers

2. Enter the following in the URL location bar
   about:support
This will bring up a page of Troubleshooting Information.

Scroll down to the bottom, and look at the table under the heading
Graphics.
Check what the table says, especially for WebGL.

This is what my Firefox 5 (Windows) says there...

| Graphics

3. You might want to read this, although it is for Firefox 4 and does not
cover WebGL

That's normal for Linux right now, the hardware acceleration code for
Linux is still experimental and not usually enabled.

WebGL will be enabled for many Linux graphics cards in newer released
(not sure at which one that starts, I think it might be 2.3), but
without acceleration and therefore running quite slow. The Mozilla
graphics team is working on getting Linux hw accel into a better shape
to enable it by default, but unfortunately the Linux graphics drivers
market is in a more sorrow state than the Windows one, so a number of
things are harder there (and even on Windows you need pretty new drivers).

First see about:support to find out if WebGL is enabled, disabled, or
blocked for your hardware. Also note the following post from this

Let me sum up the requirements to see the demo graphics:

1. Browser support for WebGL. As far as I know, the only engine
currently having the needed capabilities is Gecko version 5 and higher.
This means Firefox 5 or newer, or Seamonkey 2.2 or newer.

2. Compatible video drivers. On Windows (and, I think, OSX), this means
roughly drivers less than one year old. Some older (not that old,
sometimes) video cards are no longer supported by the makers, and there
are no updated drivers. On Linux, the situation is far worse, and you
are probably out of luck for the time being.
