Eudora's address for rejoining
Hi Guys, I was unable to install Eudora on my new windows 10 computer I got a while back, but now I think I can do it, so I would appreciate the address for Eudora so I can rejoin. I think we have some Eudora people on this list. Funny I have this update installed and since then I noticed more sluggish when using up down arrows in windows explorer. It said it installed on 9:30 and was successfully installed. Guess I'm seeing more sluggish behavior. ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. Re: buying a new machine with windows 10 on it.
i believe you press windows u for narrator for the account setup. then windows enter when you get to the desktop. you need window eyes 9.2 for windows 10 some programs you have and drivers may not work. i had many problems with windows 10 after i did a in place upgrade. i had to wipe the drive and do a fresh install to get everything working again. if you have openbook the freedom import wizard will not install for version 8 on windows 10. it will say your version of windows is not supported. but everything else still works. if you do a clean install the windows media center (not windows media player) will be erased. but i could still use v l c media player to play d v d movies. -Original Message- From: Chris Grabowski via Talk Sent: Wednesday, October 07, 2015 8:46 AM To: groov...@juno.com ; Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: RE: buying a new machine with windows 10 on it. serial number issue with window-eyes for office
I sent a message to the list last week where I indicated that I had to roll back my windows 10 installation to windows 7 because somethings got totally corrupted with my windows account and my desktop was empty or unusable, I couldn't really tell with window-eyes or system access, and I had toolbars that were getting in the way that I couldn't get to disappear, and dialogs weren't speaking at all, and none of my changes that I could make, would save for the next restart. When I rolled back, I had trouble getting my window-eyes for office copy to validate, so I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, and made sure that the service was set to automatic to verify the license and that ESpeak was the synth that was running when it first loaded, and on restarts. I have my serial number from when I purchased the eloquence add-on for this, but, I can't see where to enter it. I accidently used one of my synth authorizations when I used the license manager to activate online, thinking that would restore my serial number before trying to mess with the office validationwindow that had popped up when the service was running on demand. I guess my question is two fold, is there a way to enter this serial number manually, as this number is registered with AISquared now, and is there a way to get back an authorization for my eloquence speech, since One was inadvertently used? It allowed the authorization, even though I had the generic gweeoffice number that all office copies of window-eyes have. I have the synth authorization file that I can run, but, I don't have the little file that ran to give me the serial number in the first place. It just didn't occur to me to save it. Thanks for any help you can give, Scott P.S. I'd call in for tech support on this, but, I'm not in a position to put down money right now for what might amount to multiple support incidents, and I don't necessarily think this one is going to be covered under the free installation support. ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. disk management software and WE
Is there a disk management software that works well with WE on a Windows 10 system? Want to remove a couple of particians and seems there is no way to do it with Windows 10. I have deleted the HP recovery data in the recovery partician but it still shows up using the Windows 10 disk management and seems there is no way to change the size of the C drive to add the size of the recovery partician. ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. Re: buying a new machine with windows 10 on it.
If I remember, the WE disc (if you have one) has audio through the entire process. I guess you could also press windows-enter and bring up Narrator. Am looking for a machine with the home premium addition on it. Okay lets just say I buy a desktop with that addition on it. I get it out of the box. How do I get it going since I know there will not be any speech on it is there a way to get the speech going so I can set it up with out sighted help? I was just wondering as far as the future cause I have two machines with windows7 home premium and if one of them dyes and I get a new one with windows 10 I want to be able to use window eyes along with my other stuff that I love using on my windows7 machine.
