becomes more difficult for Window-Eyes to associate a mouse position with

windows could be helpful. In other cases, I imagine that the Hot Spot app

In Windows 10 it is alt-windows-up or down arrow.  The ctrl=alt- commands
don't work in Windows 10.

See the important note about Windows 10 in the documentation which can be
reached by pressing F1 from within Chicken Nugget.

Well, Steve, once again you've come to my rescue. I wish I hadn't been so 
impulsive in flinging reason and common sense to oblivion and doing a 
re-install of 9.3x then upgrading to 9.4. Ah, well, that just means I get to go 
on an app scavenger hunt--not as fun perhaps as an Easter egg hunt, but 
achievable easily enough.

The repair of that video driver solved both the Outlook problem and my mouse 
dinging problem. The mouse keys work again--hugely helpful for Sound Forge and 
a host of other programs.

So please accept my fervent gratitude for a fix that was so quick and easy.

I don't blame you for being grumpy, Dave. I can write scripts and I 
still use windows here and there because it's a lot easier and quicker. 
But they do sometimes need tweaking to get them to work. Ironically I 
just had to tweak one this morning because the left edge was cutting off 
the first character of some lines.

While I understand that the folks at AI only have so many hours in the 
day, it's too bad that user windows are no longer supported. On the 
other hand, prior to scripting I always marveled at how few users would 
even consider taking a look at the incredible power we already had. I 
understand that it's simply not for everyone. but there's also a big 
"someone else do it for me" tendency in everyone these days, not just 
screen-reader users.

So keep at it and hopefully you can get those windows working.

The last time I used Chicken Nugget that wasn't too long ago, you needed to add 
the shift key to the alt-win-arrow key combinations.

I wonder if it has been fixed so shift isn't required?

Alt-windows-uparrow to read tweets.  This takes you up in the list and
alt-windows-down arrow takes you down the list.

This changed in Windows 10 and is covered in the documentation which can be
reached by pressing F1 when in Chicken Nugget.  I do not suggest hidding the
screen in Windows 10.

Hi,
Control-numpad 5 doesn't spell lines in a text editor.
It however can spell menu items because when a line isn't detected Window-eyes 
does a speak summary when you press control-numpad 5.

I just checked in the hotkeys section of the Window-eyes control
panel, and it appears that all the hotkeys for setting up and reading
user windows are still there, but they are undefined.
If one were to redefine those keys, could one still set up a user window?

1. Open Becky.
2.  go to where the file is and right click on the file.
3. arrow to  "send to" and right arrow, then aroow to "send to becky" and hit 
enter.
4.  the new message comes up and I fill in address, etc. and hit send.

Adding Attachments to Emails when Using Becky!

Jed,

Alt-windows-uparrow to read tweets.  This takes you up in the list and
alt-windows-down arrow takes you down the list.

This changed in Windows 10 and is covered in the documentation which can be
reached by pressing F1 when in Chicken Nugget.  I do not suggest hidding the
screen in Windows 10.

Driving me crazy, the usual hotkey that is supposed to work is not.

Hello Nolan,

Assuming your Window-Eyes apps are up-to-date, open the WE control panel, and 
run Apps -> Diagnostics -> Repair Windows 10 Video Support. Once done, restart 
WE, and that should correct the problem. Let us know if it doesn't.

Thanks for your reply. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with sleep mode 
or screen saver. I've turned all of that off in my power plan, so I don't ever 
have to come out of sleep mode. Screen redraws don't seem to help either. I 
just don't get it; it works perfectly in JAWS 17 and the latest NVDA.

There's clearly some setting somewhere that's changed, and I can't figure it 
out. Before I reinstalled the entire program last night, I had re-installed the 
factory sets, hoping that would fix things.
