i know itunes is a mess because nvda says unknown unknown and i emailed apple accessibility - Original Message - From: "Sue J. Ward via Talk"To: Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2017 8:44 PM Subject: itunes version 12.6 is a mess. Hello. I was wondering have any of you downloaded the latest version of iTunes which is 12.6.0.95. I updated it and when I launched it window eyes read it the tree view list of items then seems like iTunes froze up and everything stopped. I even tried with NVDA same thing happened plus when I looked in the program files the program had several things about web kit and java, am thinking why is this happening? Even ending the process was a struggle. So I had to revert back to version 12.5.5 which came out in December of 2016. When I reverted back to the old version I again looked in the program files and did not see anything about web kit or java stuff so why the change in the newer version? So should I email Apple and let them know what I am experiencing? By the way am running windows 7. Plus since I had to revert back to the old version had to remove everything am getting my list of radio stations and re downloading the apps. Just thought I would ask on the list. 3 Things You Should Know About Probiotics Gundry MD http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3131/58d47a17ab47d7a1773c5st02vuc ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. Re: Windows 8 question
Tony, This sounds more like the alternative functions of the F-keys on your keyboard got activated. The quickest way to check is to open the Window-Eyes control panel and press F1. It should open the Window-Eyes manual. You can also try F6 in IE. It should go from the content window to the address bar. If these keys do something different or nothing you'll have to figure out how to get them back on your keyboard. Re: We are alive
What do you mean you have asked for a copy of your download to be put on their website? What download? I've just fought unsuccessfully with Window-eyes, Internet Explorer and my bank's web site and my non-technical view is that the bank makes changes to its coding which make Window-eyes unstable. Microsoft have still locked us out of the Edge Browser, and even if it truly commits to unlocking it, Will Window-Eyes know about Edge's latest and greatest. I don't understand why people are buying cds when a personalised link to your serial number can be asked for at no cost. Transfer the downloaded file to an external storage device. A working install from scratch is obviously sensible, but its value will reduce in the longer term as other parts of our computing experience change. Based on comments from other users, I won't be hanging on the phone for 45 plus minutes to talk to someone who doesn't know about Window-Eyes - I do not live in the United States, and Window-Eyes is no lonhger worth the telephone charges. And probably: to add to the contempt wiht which VFO treats its customers, i'll be told to talk to my local dealer. If I were to ask who my local Window-Eyes dealer is, i'll be given the name of that dealer whom I know to be Window-Eyes useless. If CSUN and official announcements reveal "an exciting new screen reader" which fixes all the bugs we are putting up with, i'll part with cash. I need a working screen reader, which is ready for when I have to update hardware and applications. I do not want it to be JFW, but i'd respond positively to a new screen reader which has been designed and developed by all of this talent which VFO apparently now has. Vaughan. i also found if you restart nvda then the insert q will work On 3/21/2017 12:36, David via Talk wrote: Insert-Q. Probably you will hav to confirm the NVDA exit. Alternatively, Ctrl-Escape, arrow down to NVDA, and kill it with Alt-E.
