Becky Address Book question

2017-07-16 Thread Dave via Talk
Hello,

Alright, I am just being Lazy with this one. But, I have Becky on two
systems, one has a large Address Book, and the other hardly any entries.
What file would I need to copy from the One Becky program, over to the
other systems copy of Becky?

And where would it be found?

I am using Win 10.

Thanks for any reply,

Grumpy Dave

Hello,

I also have had trouble with attachments with W-E and windows 10. In my
case, the edge browser keeps wanting to be the default browser rather than
internet explorer. It's rather annoying.

I just installed it yesterday and it went fine. Although the talking
installation doesn't talk immediately like the Window-Eyes installer. So
run it with WE or Narrator and then close it when the installer starts
talking. I had to press the next button once or twice before it kicked
in. What a great talking installer.

Just pay

Anyway, brother, nothing to worry about. Go ahead, download Jaws!
When it
comes to installation, you will need to turn Window-Eyes off until the
installation is complete. You will most certainly need to do this
in the
Start-Up menu for Window-Eyes just to be sure it is NOT launching
itself
when a reboot occurs during the course of Jaws installation.

As for which one to download? Oh brother! Go for the one with Tandem.
This will enable you to connect to my computer in the event that I
may need
some help from you. Sorry, I always use my own computer as
examples, but
actually it could be anyone else's computer if such a one is also
running
Jaws with the Tandem add-on. It is used purely for REMOTE ACCESS!

I thought the one with Tandem incorporated would be a good choice
because
the Window-Eyes you currently have does support remote access, so
apples to
apples, oranges to oranges ... You get my drift! And, V F O Group
should
give you an authorization code or scheme that will fully authorize
Jaws with
Tandem. Now I don't know if Tandem is available for a 32Bit OS, but
it is
certainly available for the 64Bit OS!

Now that you have Jaws in the palm of your hands, it's time to knock
off
that terrifying scare, shall we? We'll begin by bringing out that
charcoal
grill and laying some meat on it! Just the sweet smell coming from the
grill should send those fears fleeing towards the exit gate. I'll
go load
the truck and bring in the fine goodies and trimmings we need to
make the
time pass by without us checking our watches constantly. Tomorrow,
you'll
be a Jaws guru, and I'll gladly apply to be your first student at
bat! Feel
free to invite others to our steak dinner party 'cause it's going to
be a
lot of memorable fun!

Re: Behind in times.

2017-07-16 Thread Don H via Talk
Having been a user of Window Eyes for over twenty years I still believe
that it is the best screen reader. I did take the offer for the free
JAWs and have used it some and it is OK but not great. I do find NVDA
very useable and am currently using it as my main screen reader. Only
been a few occasions when I had to fire up WE to get something done.
Have always used the DecAccess 32 software syn with WE and NVDA has a
access32 addon that makes it sound just like WE. So if you have not yet
done so give NVDA a try.

comes to installation, you will need to turn Window-Eyes off until the
installation is complete. You will most certainly need to do this in the
Start-Up menu for Window-Eyes just to be sure it is NOT launching itself

As for which one to download? Oh brother! Go for the one with Tandem.
This will enable you to connect to my computer in the event that I may need
some help from you. Sorry, I always use my own computer as examples, but
actually it could be anyone else's computer if such a one is also running
Jaws with the Tandem add-on. It is used purely for REMOTE ACCESS!

I thought the one with Tandem incorporated would be a good choice because
the Window-Eyes you currently have does support remote access, so apples to

Now that you have Jaws in the palm of your hands, it's time to knock off

RE: accessible web hosting services

2017-07-16 Thread Olusegun -- Victory Associates LTD, Inc. via Talk
Darrell, this might depend largely on what you are trying to accomplish with
web hosting. That aside, I recommend you take a hard look at:

www.hostgator.com

www.ixwebhosting.com
is yet another web hosting platform you can give a try.

Some domain registrars do offer web hosting, you may also want to check
those out.

There's also www.softkin.com/ The price is reasonably right on this one in
that you pay a fixed price once and get it for life if memory serves;
however, depending on what you are trying to accomplish, it may or may not
be a good buy for you. So, carefully analyse your web hosting needs before
choosing a service provider.

Sincerely,
Olusegun
