Hi, You can try Sophos. home.sophos.com You can use it for free on up to 10 computers if you are a home user. The last time I checked, GData from Ggdata-software.com was accessible. Avira is also accessible. www.avira.com AVG changed their interface to Zen and removed the classic interface, so it is no longer accessible. vipre from www.vipreantivirus.com is also accessible. You can get a pc lifetime license of Vipre on ebay for around $25. In my research, it appears that AVG has been bought out by AVAST. In the pc magazine reviews, AVG is no longer even reviewed and is not in the top 10. Norton, MacAfee, Trend Micro, AVAST and Bitdefender are five that I remember from the list. are any of these accessible with Window-Eyes? Can anyone recommend a program that protects and is accessible? I'm not interested in Nod 32 because version 10 is not accessible, and it is too expensive to install on two computers. Also, I know in the past the GW staff seemed to be in communication with AVG and succeeded in getting some issues fixed so the two programs would play nice. With things as they are, how are accessibility issues being handled with any virus programs? Back in the day, GW staff would be able to advise me on these issues. I'm hoping some folks on this list will have some answers for me. Re: antivirus programs
I ran microsoft security essentials and it never ever found the stuff that was in my computer. I also ran malwarebytes. Both programs said they found no infection, but I gave it to somebody to work on, and he said he found infections in both of the hard drives I have in this computer. I think it took him a while, but he found them and got rid of them.
