When hit the allow choice, it just comes back, I am locked up. Happens here, too. Once a day or after a restart of TB I could understand but it happens quite frequently. Currently not sure if TB already uses an app-specific password; if so, there must be something wrong with the implementation. -- Dierk Haasis [DH² Publishing] www.DH2Publishing.info Twitter: Evo2Me 8.3.0.2 on Windows 10 0 16299 Education has produced a vast population able to read but unable to distinguish what is worth reading. When hit the allow choice, it just comes back, I am locked up. Hopefully I will be able to dispatch this question before it pops up again. I have a gmail account among my accounts. I can only see the specific permissions, to report what they are after I am locked up. here is the query which is locking me up https://dcorrin.smugmug.com/organize/Other/Place-for-screen-shots/Place-to-post-screen-shots/i-NtsnG4t -- Dwight A. Anybody can confirm it? While I have not seen this problem, I am pondering the possibility that the problem which my installation of TheBat! shows might be originating from the same cause. This happens sometimes: - I click on a folder in the folder list to open it - then I click in the message list of that folder - then TheBat! tells me about an "Invalid pointer operation" and then follows a series of Exceptions, which brings me to terminate TheBat! and start anew. Anybody can confirm it? I am running 8.3.0.2 and never had that issue. I do suffer a "ghost unread message" though, which I was describing previously. Maybe the problems have a similar cause in a message mase inconsistency that RITLabs may want to address. -- Best regards, Viktor Kabelacmailto:tbbeta-l...@kabelac.cz Current beta is 8.3.0.2 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

IMO that's nothing anyone should even remotely trade as a solution. Maybe it's similar problem as the one I've been for months now (and got similar "solution" proposals to): one of my IMAP accounts suffers *one ghost message*. Almost permanently, this account displays one unread message in the folder list, but there is none such message to be found in the messages. Sometimes it disappears, then it comes back. No amount of cleaning save for deleting and recreating the (root Inbox) folder fixed this. => Maybe RITLabs could invest some into a message base sanitizer function which would essentially do exactly this: read all messages from a message base and save them in exactly the same logical structure, but newly written. Or resolve data inconsistencies on the fly. > Feli (sorry for top posting) Sorry...but that won't keep me from doing it none the less? Now that brings a couple interesting questions! BTW. you also posted an HTML message into a list where 100%-2 stick to text ;) -- Best regards, Viktor Kabelacmailto:tbbeta-l...@kabelac.cz Current beta is 8.3.0.2 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Empty message list
Hello Daniel, if you recreate all of your accounts in a clean and fresh install, the problem should be gone. Afterwards you can copy your old account folders to the new location, but only these.
