lost attachments after restore to 3.99.3
I restored a backup file (from XP) into 3.99.3 running under Vista. Everything is working fine so far, except for all attachments in one account. The icon appears at the bottom of the message, but if I double click TB! crashes. Save As tells me the attachment is not there. I can see a heap of attachments in c:\users\davidp\AppData\Roaming\TheBat!\account name\Attach but TB! seems to have lost the link to them all. Other accounts are ok. If I go to Account - Properties - Files Directories - Attachments - Directory, it says default and when I hit browse I see the correct `Attach' directory. Is there anyway to fix this ? It is like TB! doesn't have open permission or something. Run as Administrator doesn't help, TB! still crashes and explorer can open files there no problem. thanks, davidp. -- Best regards, davidp mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.99.3 on Windows Vista 6.0 Build 6000 Current beta is 3.99.03 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

when my fixed width font and when system font ?
How does TB! decide to display using my custom fixed with font - vt100 and the horrible fixedsys font ? I have attached a small dump of 2 messages in the same thread. They both say Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit In their headers. I can't see anything different between the source for the 2 messages. Can anyone tell me if this is a bug ? I would rather it always use my choice of fixed width fonts - unless there is a compelling reason for it to chose otherwise. annoying flickering on status bar
Hi, I just upgraded to 2.11.02 to test an IMAP fix (yay! small fix but worked) and noticed that as I type text in the compose window all of the text and icons in the (new format) bottom status bar flicker. Very distracting. Is there any hope that this is fixed ? I use MicroEd as my editor. I have attached a small screen grab of the section that flickers. regards, davidp. -- David Pascoe, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.11.02 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 (but posting with gmail as thats where I read messages) Current beta is 2.12 Beta/1 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
Fwd: IMAP folders on Courier-IMAP
Can anyone help with some debug settings perhaps ? This problem persists with 2 IMAP servers, but not with another. The problem servers are Courier-IMAP, I create new folder using webmail/IMP but can never see it to subscribe to it. This is at spamcop.net and my ISP. fastmail.fm IMAP works as expected, I create a folder via the web and when I reset the folder list, I can see it and subscribe to it. This is frustrating as TB!'s IMAP support seems so close. thanks, davidp. BTW. I can see INBOX.Held Email, INBOX.sent-mail and INBOX.Spamcop Mail, but none of the other folders such as INBOX.New Folder, INBOX.Trash, INBOX.postpond, INBOX.drafts. Reset List in the Manage IMAP Folders dialogue doesn't appear to change anything.
