Since there are too many unread messages in my folders that I don't want to mark read at this time, I cannot reproduce this entirely, but I have noticed that there is something weird about the way TB! handles 'go to next unread' when the currently selected 'folder' is an account name itself. For instance, I have at the top of my account list, the acounts of myself and my wife: HyperCube Maurice HyperCube Brenda There are unread messages in both accounts. If I select the account name and for my wife and hit Ctrl-Right or Ctrl-], TB! goes to the first unread message of the 'HyperCube Maurice' account instead of what I expected to happen, the first unread message in 'HyperCube Brenda'. This means that in order to get to the unread messages in her account, I am forced to expand her account and select at least the top folder there in order to be able to use Ctrl-Right or Ctrl-]. -- Greetings, Maurice Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 The Bat! v3.5.36; Bayes Filter Plugin v2.0.3; AJS v0.6; MyMacros 1.11a; Current beta is 3.5.36 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

I just repeated my test 6 times with a thread that started of as: Unread Unread Unread Unread Unread Unread Unread All other mails in the folder were read, so these were the only ones visible. Each time, I marked the top message read, clicked on the top account folder and hit Ctrl+Right. Each of the first five times I landed on the SECOND unread message. Of course, on the sixth test, there was only one unread mail remaining and Ctrl+Right went to it. Yes, I am sure but you must be in "Only Unread message" mode to see this. Please read: mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Other than that... If I look at Customize, I see three standard ways of doing this: Ctrl+Alt+Right Ctrl+Right Ctrl+] You must have deleted the other two - or may the fact that the menu only shows the first one listed has you confused. I used to use Ctrl+], but since using a laptop I've switched to Ctrl+Right - the Right is only three keys away from Ctrl :-) I have no idea why you choose to press an extra key - finger exercise? -- Best regards, Bill The Bat 3.5.36 Pro BayesIt! 0.8.1 X-Ray 1.4.0.0 XP Pro SP2 POP3 Current beta is 3.5.36 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

When I started this thread, I didn't realize that the behavior is different with my view mode - which only shows unread mail. let's first make sure we are in "(no view mode)". In your TB! Beta folder, with all messages read, press Alt+1 then Ctrl+= to be in standard threaded mode with all messages visible - we should have a common starting point. Now find the same structure and mark them unread so you have, anywhere in a thread: A - unread B - unread C - unread Now do View->Display->Only Unread messages. Only those three messages will be visible. Position on message A, mark it read (Ctrl+M) and then go to the account name in the folder tree. Finally, when you press Ctrl+Right, you will be positioned on message C instead of message B. Can you confirm that? -- Best regards, Bill The Bat 3.5.36 Pro BayesIt! 0.8.1 X-Ray 1.4.0.0 XP Pro SP2 POP3 Current beta is 3.5.36 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
