The problem is that the internal support for PGP or equal to 5.x lacks some features - not big ones, admittedly. For instance, with CKT builds you can choose Conventional Encryption or Secure Viewer from the Enter Passphrase dialogue. This isn't possible with the internal support. Hendrik sent me an older version of Imad's DLL, which works fine for now. Since the special charcaters trouble didn't show up with this yet or with the internal support, it is the last DLL he wrote for build09b3 (or 2, it's the same) which introduced it. TB does not have a PGP connected bug. -- Dierk Haasis :Dierk: Copy 'n' Concept The Bat 3.0.2.1 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 Chat info for ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber upon request A popular government without popular information or the means of acquiring it, is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy or perhaps both. It really should :-) Yes, as I use actually PGP-8.1 use the "PGP 5,6,7,8 (build-in support)". I can certainly delete this dll's as I have no more PGP-6.5 installed. In any case, the Options for dll-Support are grayed out. Formerly, as I was using PGP-6.5.8 from www.pgpi.??? I was using the dll.Support, because with the "PGP 5,6,7,8 (build-in support)" there was some problems with password caching. -- Sincerely Hendrik Oesterlin - email [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jabber-IM: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ 215599852 - MSN [EMAIL PROTECTED] - YIM moimeme666fr - AIM moimeme666fr TheBat! 3.0.1.33 and BayesIt! 0.7.3 on Windows 2000 Current beta is (none) | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

I think you got confused by Zygmunt writing "internal", but I guess he intended to say "build-in", as this would be correct. You *need* to have PGP or GnuPG installed, if you want more than PGP-2.6.3(or around there). It's just some versions ago one needed extra DLLs to get external PGP supported, but for many moons right know TB! has this DLL's functionality compiled in. You nevertheless need the PGP program(s), but you can choose "PGP 5,6,7,8 (build-in support)" without having to install any additional DLL for The Bat!. @Hendrik: could you try to rename the DDL's you're writing about and test if PGP integration still works?
