Jan, did you download Netscape Navigator instead of Netscape
Communicator? If answer is 'yes', you cannot get an address book,
   because Navigator is stand-alone browser!
In this case you should download Netscape Communicator (much bigger
in size...) and then you will be able to do all those things
Syafril has said about exporting address book from OE to TB!...

While I agree this, if you still have the problem for the conversion,

You right as far as OE5 installed at same PC with NS, for this case the
procedure more simple, from Netscape Messanger Address Book just do
"import from Outlook Express" then export to LDIF format.

Commonly OE user not installed Netscape Messanger, so I ask him to send
*.csv file, then send him back *.abd with instruction save at TB!
default directory.

Just export OE address book as Comma Separated Text and now import
into TB! as Address List (Plaint text) from Address Book/File/Import

The procedure is on the site http://www.interguru.com/msieall.htm
otherwise just open Netscape address book and import from OE5, this is
a *.wab (windows address book)

Try http://www.interguru.com/ convert your OE address book to LDIF
which TB! can import without editing fields. If you have a copy of
Netscape you can import from OE and export to LDIF with similar
results.

Yeah, that's what I meant with "...not very elegant...". It took me hours ! But
at least it was less work than typing all in.

Sorry, can't provide a better solution. But I remember having discussed a
similar problem with someone off-list. I browsed my msgs but can't find out who

Well, when I had to import the adresses from Outlook, I just exported any adress
as Vcard from OE and imported the vcard in TB. Not very elegant, esp. when many
adresses have to be imported. At least it worked :-) !

Sorry, not that I'm dodging the call to serve my country...ehhh,
fellow Batmen, it's just that I don't know the answer. While I took
great pain importing all my old mail into TB, I purposefully left my
old address book (which was in a mess anyway) behind. So, maybe
someone else could pick this one up.

Yes. In the new message template for the folder insert the following:
%To="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
Watch out however when hitting mailto: links in messages residing in
this folder. They will be addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as well.

A more foolproof method would be to create an address book entry for
TBUDL, define templates for it and include it in your favourites menu by
ticking the favourites column box in the address book. Whenever you wish
to write a new message to the list, select TBUDL from your favourites
menu elicited by either hitting the little arrow on the new message
toolbar button or right clicking on the To: field in the editor window.
