AC Mine is the same way, but i'm *very* sure that it did go away prior AC to version 1.45. Personally, I've never seen it go away automatically once it appears. I've always had to hide it manually. The only difference is that in previous versions, if you disconnected while the dial-up monitor was displayed but disconnected using windows dial-up rather than TB!'s dial-up monitor abort button, then the only way to get rid of the dial-up monitor would be to shut down TB!. I TB! initiates the connection for me, i.e., when I try to send or receive mail without a connection already established, the dial-up monitor appears. When the connection is established, I have to hide the monitor. In fact, the monitor never really disappears until I manually hide it, even if I were to disconnect. (Although, come to think of it, I've never disconnected with it, but usually abort, when a connection is being attempted and I didn't really wish for it to happen). -- -=A. On my end there are not one but two (2) dial-up monitors (one real and one fake) created by The Bat when I dial in. The first shows up and makes the connection (and I like to watch it do so hehehe). The second one shows up in the bar at the bottom of the screen -after- the connection is made!!! I click on it, then hit close and all is well since I am already connected... dial up weirdness
Hello TBUDL, When I connect to the Internet via The Bat to just pick-up my mail I notice the dialer box doesn't go away after connecting. I mean, it does but the box for it is still at the bottom of the screen and I have to manually close it after I have connected to the server...
