Re: TeraScript-Talk: Invoking Terascript

2016-02-15 Thread Wayne Irvine
Turns out there is no Apache 2.4 mod for Terascript 6. Just too old a version.

So I bit the bullet and bought a T7 license.

I hear the new T7 is so good it’ll write the code for me! No? Ok. ;)

Thanks for your help Naveen and Dale.

Re: TeraScript-Talk: Invoking Terascript

2016-02-15 Thread Dale Graham
You need the mod for Apache 2.4
The mod being pointed to is for Apache 2.2

Ah, and I see you're running TS 6, not 7.
The correct mod may work, however. I imagine that it is included in the TS 7
installs, but not the TS 6 one.

Are the two mods in your TS server directory or just the one?
I can send you the correct mod if you don't have it. Then it's just a matter of
some file editing to fix the problem.
Let me know if you need that mod for Apache 2.4 and I'll send it to you
directly. No guarantee that it'll work with TS 6, but very well might.

I do recommend updating the Mac OS (it's like 5 versions old...) and the
Terascript version if possible, too.

Re: TeraScript-Talk: Invoking Terascript

2016-02-14 Thread ubslab
Is mod_terascript_apache22.so for Apache version 2.2 only, or is it also
used in version 2.4?
In TSServer 7.1 there are mod_terascript_apache22.so and
mod_terascript_apache24.so.
Also terascript.conf and terascript_24.conf.

Installs in Apache 2.2 in OSX 10.8 ( etc/apache2/other/terascript.conf )
point to mod_terascript_apache22.so.

Re: TeraScript-Talk: Invoking Terascript

2016-02-14 Thread Wayne Irvine
Still working on this.

Thanks Naveen, there is a file ‘terascript60_OSX_apache22_64.so’ in the
Terascript Server 6 folder.

This file is referenced by ‘terascript.conf’ which is copied by the Install
script to the /etc/apache2/sites. This folder doesn’t exist in Yosemite so I
have manually moved it to '/etc/apache2/other’.

The ‘other’ folder is mentioned in httpd.conf as:
Include /private/etc/apache2/other/*.conf
(note: /etc is an alias of /private/etc)

Did you run the install script after doing the installation? That writes the
info needed for Apache. Be sure to run the correct script (e.g., client or
server, and the one for the OS).

The TS conf file ends up located in etc/apache2/others, I believe. The mod file
stays at the root of your server application.

Httpd.conf points to the others folder for third party modules

Also, check out the Console. Search on Apache and you might get some insight
there if you're still having issues.

There should be some types available, similar to mod_witango55_apache2.so /

I am upgrading my webserver from OSX Server Lion (10.7.5) to OSX Server
Yosemite (10.10.5).

I’ve got through most of the process and have Apache running and serving sites
and Terascriptd running in the background, but I’m not sure how to get .taf
files to get Apache to invoke Terascript and process them.

I tried the ‘Install TeraScript’ script and it seemed to complete successfully
but no go. I’ve looked in Apache2/mime.types but there is no mention of taf,
terascript or witango there. Same with http.conf.

Any clues as to how Apache needs to know .taf files are processed by Terascript?
