Hello Evan again,
Is there a way to make the macro output invisible if the field which is
filling the macro is empty.
The macro is indeed in every Tiddler and if I have no ID-Nr only the link
text is visible and the link leads to nowhere.
Since it would be better the macro or the link text would be invisible.
I can not delete it individually as it is part of a larger transclusion.
Thank you for your help

[tw] Re: Filter and list text components:

2018-01-09 Thread tobaisch
Hello TonyM,
I have now looked at the Tagging Tool by TobiBeer.
I do not really understand the benefit for me. All this I can do with the
list widget too. And I do not need hierarchies at the moment either. Maybe
I do not really understand it either. The practical examples are missing on
the page. [Foo Bar] I consider is an inappropriate example to explain
something to someone. :)
No matter.
In general, with the help of the full-text search also tags are not really
always needed (I refer to my case).
I type three search words faster than I put three tags in a filter list. I
use very few tags and get along very well. Tags are not as flexible in my
opinion.

To my request briefly again:
I was not looking for entire Tiddler but for individual sections of text. I
wanted to extract those and compare them to their spelling and mistakes. And
under favorable conditions also list as list.
The macro looks a bit bumpy but it works and helps enormously. I hope it
works for 3000 Tiddlers later too. Maybe I have too little computing power
with my old device. :)

For your help.
I really appreciate your help. You have really given me very good tips and
taught me a better one. Please continue! That's good and thanks for that.
In general you are very active here and I do not doubt your competence. I
just need a little bit longer to understand something.
We are not only spatially very separated but also in our knowledge about
macros and TW5. There is also a lot of water in between :)
All the better that we can exchange ourselves with the help of the WWW here
on this way. Somehow crazy. Thank you.

[tw] Removing empty space between numbers with macro

2018-01-08 Thread tobaisch
Hello,
Mark and Eric here from the forum here helped me with a macro which adds
the content of a field with id numbers to a ext. website link.
Sometimes the field content also has empty space between the numbers. for
example. "22 33 44"
How can you complete the macro that removes this spaces?
Here is the macro:

\define mymacro2(web id) [ext[Linktext|$web$$id$]]
\define mymacro() <$macrocall $name="mymacro2" web="
https://mydomain.com/files/"; id={{!!webid}}/>

the webid is the field with the numbers

The prefix of the website is very long and should therefore be fix
integrated into the macro.
The variable and authoritative ID at the bottom of the page is in the
field: "webid".
I would now like to write with the help of the macro only <> in

Where is my mistake?

Is not that a waste of data? I then have twice the suffix once in the title
and once in the field. With 800 Tiddlers that makes a difference.
I rather thought of deleting the prefix (this is faster in Notepad ++) and
then adding the field "nr" in the view of the standard search.
I have to think through all variants again.
And maybe even a clever head will come around here and find a solution?
Mark, what do you say to my questions?
Are you 100% sure that there is no possibility for sorting after
removeprefix?
Is there another field beside the title field which is (or can be make)
searchable with the standard search?
Thanks

[tw] Re: removeprefix

2018-01-02 Thread tobaisch

hello Mark,
thanks, at the beginning I just wanted to ensure a reasonably structured
presentation of my Tiddler.
The field "nr" I have just set up for security to filter later thereafter.
Unfortunately that does not seem to work right now.
I do not understand what should be so annoying now about these numbers?
The structure is always the same. I can delete the field "nr", but does
that help?

Don't forget, i will make a template to change the display of my
searchresults.
A static list ist not what im looking for i m looking for a filteroption.
What is the mistake in this type of code?

 <$list filter="[all[tiddlers]nsort[]] +[removeprefix[{{!!nr}}]]" />

[tw] Re: removeprefix

2018-01-02 Thread tobaisch
Many Thanks.
The plugin looks like a solution but so far I have not had any success.
Short to your variant:
I have no "-" therefore it does not fit.
And also your list is not displayed as a link. This is exorbitantly
important, because I want to call the found Tiddler.
Ex: My Tiddler title: *0299 lastname prename - something*
I have the plugin installed.
My experiments and many others brought nothing:
<$ list filter = "[all[tiddlers]has[nr]nsort[]]split:after[pos=4]" />
<$ list filter = "[all[tiddlers]has[nr]split[pos=5 num=1]nsort[]]" />
Although there are many examples on this site, my case was not listed
as an example :(
And it also makes it seem as if the links do not work anymore after
splitting, which in turn is out of the question as a solution for me.
That's why I like to stay with the old version and want to find the
mistake here.

 <$list filter="[all[tiddlers]nsort[]] +[removeprefix[{{!!nr}}]]" />

Thank you again, thank you all for your effort.
You are really friendly and helpful here!
Regards
Tob

This is really a big problem.
That's the reason why I wanted this list in this form.
Also, I can not use it as a template.
I wanted to use this as a template for the search.
Is your assessment final or do you think that there may be another solution?
That does not sound good. :(

Hello,

I would like to show all Tiddler without this previx in a list and sort

[tw] Filter and list text components:

2018-01-01 Thread tobaisch
hello and a happy new year to all.

This is my wikitext in different tiddlers:

---
tiddler01
content:

*Book: Winnetou 1
**Autor: Karl May
.
*Book: Moby Dick
**Autor: Hermann Melville

*Book: Taipi
**Autor: Hermann Melville
---
tiddler02
content:

*Book: Winnetou 2
**Autor: Karl May

*Book: Silbersee
**Autor: Karl May

*Book: Hithikers Guide to the Galays
**Autor: Douglas Adams

---

Is it possible to generate a list from the following text modules?
The filter request would be "*Karl May*"
The Searchterm *always* stands after the term "**Author:"
The goal, however, *always* before "** Author:"
Simple: Target term **Author: Keyword

The target term is always in the text before the sequence: "**Author:" and
after the character string "*Book:"
Listed should be the text that always begins with "*Book:" and ends before
"**Author:"

The desired result would be in my case this list:

Winnetou 1
Winnetou 2
Silbersee

Is there a possibility?

Thanks

Tob

It did not really work, but it does not matter.
I manage my predefined lists quite well so far.
Maybe the "-" function will be added later as a standard in the TiddlyWiki.

Thanks Eric,
I did something similar too.
I've added predefined lists of my most common queries as sidebar vertical
tabs.
Your variant is a little more elegant. :)
Nevertheless, I think it's a pity that there is no exclude filter.
Such a "-" as with the Google search would be very comfortable.
I can not have everything
I'm already so excited about the tiddlywiki functionality and flexibility.
That predominates.

[tw] filtering a area of tiddlers from prefix numbers

2017-12-28 Thread tobaisch
Hello,
all my tiddlers have a number in the title as a prefix.
"0001-ABC" to "1000-EGAL".
How can I list a section in a filter list, for example the 40 Tiddlers
"0120 XYZ" to - "00160 ABF"?
I also have a field "nr" with the value: "0001 to 1000" but this is not yet
correctly filled out by all Tiddlers, so I would like to filter with the
prefix.
is this possible?
Of course, I am also interested in the solution for filtering an area with
the "field" variant.

the standard search is always fixed in the sidebar. A huge difference!
The search results do not hide the content I am currently working on.
That's why the sidebar was invented. :)

thx thomas,
i understand now. it navigates only through the open tiddlers.

So you would have to open all tiddlers first, independent of tags.

I have 800 Tiddlers so far and there are more to come.
That makes no sense to me.
It is a kind of database or glossary.
All Tiddlers has prefix 0001 to 1000, sorted like this and should also be

if I want to jump to the next Tiddler.
for that matter, its very simple. :)

the search should take place in the sidebar and the results of course too.

Thats the problem.
*You think* you show me how to use list-links.

You refer to a link on tiidlywiki.com and everything is fine.

[tw] Re: Html Export

2017-12-02 Thread tobaisch
TonyM,
something more detailed.
my wishes to Santa Claus :)
An exportoption of the tiddler into a simple html file.
The header should simply have the title of the exportet Tiddler in the title
maybe export from mytiddler.html
But that's not so important because it's easy to change.

The first line of my visible html-file should be the first line of my
visible content of my tiddler. So mostly a headline and then the text.
No Tag-Pills, no date-stamp, no links to tiddlers in the text.
Just the visible content of the Tiddler.

For several Tiddlers who are merged together it would be best, if the
Tiddlers are merged exactly in the content (start of content Tiddler01 ->
content -> end of content Tiddler01 -> start of content Tiddler02 ...)

The export function is currently really good and meaningful.
But sometimes you need another variant.

2017-12-02 Thread tobaisch
Hi Richard,
thank you.
In the files $:/core/templates/static-tiddler respectively.
$:/core/ui/ViewTemplate i find no approach where i could change my exports
in such a way that no Tiddler-Links are displayed and that the Tag-Pills in
the exported html file can be turned off.
I deleted a little bit something in the files.
Either nothing happens or everything is gone. That does not make sense. :)

*
\define frame-classes()
tc-tiddler-frame tc-tiddler-view-frame $(missingTiddlerClass)$

filter="[all[shadows+tiddlers]tag[$:/tags/ViewTemplate]!has[draft.of]]"
variable="listItem"><$transclude tiddler=<>/>

***

I also got the systemtiddlers to the sidebar, as you recommended.
I absolutely do not know what to do with it.
I'm just looking for a way to export to static Html with no Tiddler-Links
and Tag-Pills.

Excuse me for my stupidity
I'm just beginning to understand all that new stuff in the Tiddler system.

[tw] Re: Auto Tiddler Tag Linking.

2017-11-29 Thread tobaisch
Tony,
of course the numbers are only an example. I did not count exactly. That's
pretty clear, I thought. I do not want to lead a fundamental dissent here,
then I would have asked the question differently.
I have a specific problem and I am just looking for a solution.

1st variant:
I am looking for a plugin like the http://linkify.tiddlyspot.com/. but for
TW5.
It exists and works already, but unfortunately not yet for TW5.

2nd variant:
To avoid unnecessary parsing of the text, I have the OneClick idea. So only
on request to parse the text and compare with the existing Tiddlers. Then
convert the words to links or just select and highlight them and then
convert them one by one.

3rd variant:
An extra tiddler containing a whitelist (a free choice of words) that will
be formatted as [[*]] automatically or per click in each new tiddler.

But back to your post and my answer:

So you have one 3000 word tiddler, and 100 other tiddlers that are named
> according to words found in the 3000 word tiddler?
> If so how were the 100 tiddlers created?
>

The many Tiddler course was created individually. Individually and
laboriously. Of course, they can not yet be linked to the long article,
since this article did not exist before, since I've just discovered him now
and now wants to bring together with my other Tiddlers. Matching means for
me. Copy and check if the content (words) match my already written Tiddler
and then link.
That's a normal concern, right?

>
> If you want to change every occurrence of 100 different words in the 3000
> word tiddler to links, following those links may be easy but returning will

I do not want to go back.

The suggestion from you with the macro sounds quite good, but it is not
practical for me, because I'm just an ordinary end user and can not really
program. :)
Or I'm just too stupid to put your tips into action here. Probably the
latter. :(
I'm looking for a simple solution to make working with Tiddler easier.

With so nothing else remains usual for the time being than to wait until
Linkify is adapted to TW5 or another developer reads here and has mercy and
offers a other ready-made solution.

regards
Tob

2017-11-28 Thread tobaisch
Thanks Tony,
I understand your intention very well.
That's all clear to me, really.
Thanks for the many tips and hints.
But you have not explained this one special case.
e.g.
I have 100 Tiddlers and a text copied with 3000 words.
How can I find the words that match to the titles of the tiddlers and link
them?
If you write new text, it may all work very well, but it is difficult if
you copied an already finished text.
e.g. when you like to switch from MS-Word to Tiddler.
i have a lot of text and like to switch comfortable and effective.

Oh thank you Tony,
that sounds really good, but I'm an enduser and have no idea how to somehow
implement your code here. :)

[tw] a useful plugin

2017-11-28 Thread tobaisch
Is there a plugin for following idea?
Double click at a tiddler in the sidebar opens the tiddler in edith mode.
Maybe ctrl+click would be also a good variant?

or even a plugin that automatically link words they are in a whitelist.
this one is maybe easier.
for example:
In my whitelist are two words: "nice" & "day"
I have three Tiddlers with the title: "nice", "day" & "exampel".
I write the following text in a new tiddler. Today is a nice day and that
is an example.
After saving the new tiddler, the word "nice" and "day" are automatically
linked to the tiddler *nice* and *day*.
That would be great.

2017-11-27 Thread tobaisch
