Will report back on further > developments later. Success! Just tried the bt function - works! The only 'geek' feature is that switching outputs from digital to usb always induces a Touch reboot. Given I'll probably be the only one to use the bt headphone then it's a non-fatal feature! There are a lot of dac settings to mess about with, but I'll leave that alone until I can figure out what they all mean! Big plus is that there's just one lead from the Touch to the Avantree. In brief: 1. Powering ra small bluetooth transmitter using the usb port works. However! This only works when the device is plugged in to an already running Touch. All sound outputs work. If the device is olugged before the Touch reboots from a cold boot, then the Touch outputs don't work. Any thoughts, ideas? Any way to delay the start of the usb port? I used swyh a while back - it's a bit fiddly to get working. I think I'll just set static on the devices which access the repeater. I've googled for details on the repeater (Huawei ws 322) but without success. It was a pig to setup - but once done it works rather well, and seems to have little impact on the overall network performance. It's located about 20m away on an upper floor and extends the network significantly. I've looked at the repeater admin pages but can't see any option for bridging - so, as it works, I'm not messing with it! Thanks for all the advice.
