Apart from the fact that this was broken on Windows... This feature allows someone to fix translations. Since .mo is the compiled .po and not really meant to be edited I think the fact that we can hack these files is quite cool. We can edit any file that the translate toolkit understands. We have spent many hours thinking about that seemingly simple feature. I think we've hit on a good strategy here. When we add features we will have to guard that simplicity. Some of these translations are part of the GTK+ library (Open, Quit, About, etc.), but the rest come from Virtaal itself. Hi all. Does anyone know what has happened to Pootling? I've noticed it's no longer available for download and its site is down. I really hope Vladimer Sichinava hasn't given up on his alternative to PoEdit, which, IMHO, far exceeds the latter in features and ease of use.
