Curious as to what is and where >you are. Why don't you introduce yourself to the list? Here are some details about myself: Born in 1961, started searching for some answers about 18 years ago. This search was intensified in 1987 when my first child was born. Got intouch with a local enlighted (True) teacher from whom I learned a great deal. I was introduced to Scientology about a year ago. Since then I started studying and also got some processing. The Scientology path was completely new to me, since till then I was only used to the meditation & Love path, and not with the reason & money one. The last one (money) is a double barrier for me since I was thought that "One cannot serve two masters : God and money, at the same time". Also, since I don't posess the enourmous amounts of money required to reach "Absolute Freedom" via Scientology, and since I'm looking for some practical and TRUE way to get there I was atracted by TROM. Since I personally think that the TRUTH can not and must not be owned by any single individual or group, and I also think that no one which realy reached NIRVANA would mess himself in asking money for it, I'm looking for answers in the public domain: the Internet. Thus,I can only congratulate you and your fellows for your blessed initiative in publicating TROM. I only have a few question marks regarding it, some of them I have expressed in a letter directly to Judith Metheven (from which I hope I'll get some answers soon). Most of those question marks are related to TROM procedures for which there are not enough examples in the original document, thus giving me a hard time trying to applicate it correctly, or event stopping me entirely. If you know of the existance of some written materials or corespondence which may help me I'll be very glad to know about it. Well that's all for now . Sincerely, Nori. -- Subject: Dennis and level 5 Date: Mon, 04 May 1998 06:51:42 -0700 From: "MICHAEL W. BONNYCASTLE" To: tro...@newciv.org Hello Trommers, Can anyone provide the origin of the statement(s) that Dennis Stephens had not completed Level 5 at the time of his death? And please elaborate if possible. It is interesting and somewhat unbelievable as it tends to conflict with the way Trom reads. thank you, Michael Bonnycastle Subject: Re: Dennis and level 5 Date: Tue, 05 May 1998 09:18:31 +1000 From: Ron Van Haarlem To: "MICHAEL W. [TROM1] Notes on RI: The Surprise Game
* The following message is relayed to you by trom@lists.newciv.org I currently assist someone who read TROM -- through a present-time problem that they feel keeps them from doing the TROM exercises (issues with time), by asking up front for the postulate(s) during the time-stop that Dennis discussed in his "IP" lectures. John Galusha also developed this technique after a insight from one of his clients. We start the session with RI and end with RI. I noticed that the ending RI is sometimes interactive because I'm likewise 360'ing into existence what the "another" brings into existence and I lightheartedly offer up some things to bring into existence and it gets quite playful as one is usually keyed-out a bit after a session - or the RI will key one out if the one session was not fully resolving the present-time problem. This reminded me of Dennis' description of the interactive version of the "Surprise Game". Here is an excerpt from Dennis' lecture on "The Surprise Game". The Surprise Game Well why doesn’t the postulate ever fail? Alright to understand that I better give you another example. Back in the 1950’s in London there used to be a game us auditors played and it’s based upon a very, very old game on the time track. Very, very… very early in this universe there’s a game called the “Surprise Game” . You see, the spiritual … goes up to another being and says, “look now,” he says’ “imagine this box here.” He got this box… imagine a box. And , “Yes,” says the other being and he imagines a box. “Just imagine,” he says, “when you open the lid of this box and look inside you will get a surprise. Just agree that that will be so.” And the other being says, “Alright. I agree that when I open up the box and look inside I will get a surprise.” 09:53 So he and the first being says to him, “Ok, now go ahead and open the little box and look inside.” So he opens the lid of the box that he’s just mocked up. Opens it and looks inside and, of course, gets a surprise. See? 10:03 “What a marvelous game,” you see, surprise game. And we used to play this game in London. Ron Hubbard introduced the game there is… he told us it was an early track game and many of us checked it out and found it is so you can find it, you can find this game on anyone’s timetrack. Right very, very early on. Very early universe this game is. But the…the surprise game. 10:29 used to play this game with all the other auditors. We used to play on each other and play it on…. Get other people to play this game and get our preclears to play this game.Dennis -- ___ TROM mailing list TROM@lists.newciv.org http://lists.newciv.org/mailman/listinfo/trom
[TROM1] RE TROM Session Admin from Robin
* The following message is relayed to you by trom@lists.newciv.org Hi, Robin, you remind me of Dennis' reference to "the joy of competency" and I like how you approach your case so professionally. Perhaps you have reached that state of being "chummy" with your mind. I type very fast and prefer to keyboard my notes, however that puts me in too close proximity to the internet and google searches as my mind starts to unleash me from a creative lockdown - a dozen tabs later and I get myself back into session again - a real time dragger. So I'm learning to close the laptop and work with pen and paper. I should though digitize my "great cogs" and diagramming. You could probably keep a good blog going with all your cogs and learnings. colleen -- ___ TROM mailing list TROM@lists.newciv.org http://lists.newciv.org/mailman/listinfo/trom
