Lance wrote: 'that we (should read I}are (am) confident will never take place, right?' Wrong. There are times when we should be confident that a person is working iniquity. Peter was confident that Ananias and Sapphira would not change. There are other times when we are not confident, but to proceed in life with the hope that everyone will do what is right is foolish. We already know that they will not. The Scriptures say that Jesus trusted himself to no man, because he knew what was in man. In like manner, we should walk like Christ did with this attitude. Peace be with you. David Miller. p.s. why do you say, "should read I"? -- "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man." Jeff, No I don’t even pretend to think Arafat’s death will end the violence. I just am sick of looking at that evil Rat-man, knowing that he pretends to want to help the “Palestinians”, and knowing that he only wanted to use conflict to profit himself. He is one less terrorist on the face of the earth, and for that I am thankful—even knowing there are thousands more. He was the leader of the pack. Now I’m hopeful that many of them will kill each other off in their contention for his place. (Slade) I could go on and on, but I think it would fall upon deaf ears. Either you see the obvious truth or you fall for the scam. Tragic, indeed. (Izzy) I do not have deaf ears. I understand every one of your concern plus many others. It all goes back to the original source of the disagreement that causes Judy to be temporarily speechless... How are we to react to those who have an obvious humanity problem? Do we become like them and hate or do we take the higher road? Do we continue to hope that the Spirit of Redemption can push away the dark clouds of hate and the chains of blindness, or are we fall to the base elements of humanity and hope and pray for their destruction, both in this life and the life to come? The obvious truth is that we should hope all come to embrace the God of Israel. (Slade)

Yes, Terry. Or perhaps chartreuse? Seriously, if Arafat was looking out for the people he supposedly represented he would never have turned down the deal of a lifetime. When the Clinton administration leaned on Israel to give away everything but the kitchen sink to fulfill every one of Arafat’s demands for peace, Israel actually AGREED TO THEM! And then what did Arafat do? He WALKED AWAY!!! Living proof that all of his demands were a pretext for his REAL motive—nothing would satisfy him except the death of every Jew. Such a horrid person is so filled with Satan that he can never repent. I believe that a person can only accept so much evil before they pass the point of no return. God turns you over to your depravity, and the Holy Spirit no longer strives with you. The article I posted was just one of many interesting editorials I read a bout Arafat. I never said that I was celebrating the death of Arafat—the author did. However, I am thankful that his and his evil have departed to be sure. Other articles went into the sordid sexual perversions of Arafat, but I chose not to post those. His terrorism and Jew hatred are what made him truly evil—the rest just went along with it. Izzy

RE: [TruthTalk] Arafat is gone
You celebrate the death of a man. I find the moment tragic. Had he been given and accepted the Truth, The Land would be a bit different (or he would have been assassinated). Tragic. He fought for the rights of [his] people in The Land. He was wrong in attempting to create a Palestinian state because those of the nations who want a part in The Land must enjoin themselves with Israel (according to Torah). Tragic. He was wrong in allowing/encouraging terrorism against innocent bystanders. Tragic. Israel is wrong in creating an Us-Them dichotomy in the Land. The nation of Israel is wrong in disassociating with Jewish people who've accepted [a] Messiah who was born, died, and resurrected 2,000 years ago. Tragic. Until Israel remembers their captivity in Egypt, remembers the agony of being segregated and murdered and demeaned, and recognizes the HE who was pierced, there will be no peace for them. Everything I do is for the love of God, Israel/Jerusalem/Israeli/Jewish Person, and my neighbor... and in that order. I wonder if The Land is going to be better off now that Arafat has died. After all, Israel had a hard time keeping up with Arafat's footmen. Imagine what it'll be like if the horsemen arrive. -- slade -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of ShieldsFamily Sent: Saturday, 13 November, 2004 08.17 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [TruthTalk] Arafat is gone So what makes his death any more tragic than the deaths of every other lost soul?
