Hello Wilfried, this is a know bug, due to the latest changes in Piwik, i hope i find the time in januar to fix it. Hi Pero, maybe, i tried news, and it has more features (and more extendable ones) than news. It has a better code quality, is better documented and well, it's the successor of tt_news. The import of items is not a problem, news comes with an importer. Just the plugins need some love. The templates can be easily adjusted with FLUID! Hi, i had a similar issue sometime ago. Use a editor to edit your localconf, remove all rsa options in the login section (you may do that with the installtool as well). Afterwards create a new admin login and you should be fine. Personally I never understood the hype about FCE, since this is something you can do with some TCA within just a few minutes and you will need at least some TypoScript for each of them anyway. Here fluidcontent and gridlayout are doing the same stuff, bringing the backend layout as content element. But I see, that the goal of gridelements was really just the backend grid, while fluidcontent goes more likely one step further and includes flexform simultaneously for each fce within backend grids. So if the editor needs a content grid only, he could use rather gridelements because I guess its more lightweight, but as soon you would like to predefine the flexform I guess fluidcontent would be faster in development. In gridelements there are multiple actions necessary for building one fce. Backend actions, then typoscript configuration and in the end the html file. You don't need any file there, since just some wraps will be enough to get containers and children with the appropriate classes, the rest is up to bootstrap and the like anyway. For the wrap you need for sure TS, either inside of the BE or as file based typoscript. I guess its again just the developer choice, if the developer swiss knife is fluid/flux or typoscript. But of course you can use fluid files as well, if you think this is a good idea, since TypoScript gives you FLUIDTEMPLATE and the plugin prepares addtional arrays for you. So Gridelements gives you the choice, while fluidcontent forces you into the Extbase and Fluid world, which is it's major advantage and it's major drawback at the same time. But the actual point is: TYPO3 makes use of extensions to give the users a choice. It's not up to the core to decide which way to go, but up to the people. This is why neither TV nor gridelements nor fluidcontent are officially part of the core. Gridelements has been built as a core project but was never included. Sure this is all what's TYPO3 is about. But I hope with THEMES it will be possible to show really cool stuff for content editors, we should convince people to choose TYPO3 over other CMS. And this only happen, if the content management is really nice to handle and is going further than the standard core elements. Also the BE CSS should get some attention, would like to bring in maybe some design ideas. Still the Grid Packages project is open for everybody to join, so if you want to get more fluid in there, feel free to provide your package as well. I will see you at the THEMES meeting for sure. I guess I'm fulfilled with the fluidcontent extbase/fluid world, as it provides already all features I would need. It will support the following ways of theming: - plain html with marker - oldstyle TVFramework Themes - TYPOScript Themes - Fedext themes All this will be provided under a nice Userinterface for the enduser, so that themes can be easily exchanged and installed and updated as they are extensions. There is also a experimental adapter for wordpress, but this is currently just a proof of concept. My extension also have a class file which contains a namespace.

So how can I implement the xclass in my extension without using typoscript. I
got some references which mentioned about this.
According to that, I've added the following code in my extension's
ext_localconf.php file.
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SYS']['Objects']['TYPO3\CMS\Frontend\Plugin\AbstractPlugin']
= array(
'className' = 'TYPO3\NewFelogin\Controller\NewfeloginController',

But its not working.
So if you anybody know about this, please help me. I want to know about how
to implement xclass in extbase extensions.

Hello Philipp, themes was discussed with Fabien Udriot last night. Themes itself is a small extension for just including TYPOScript and PageTS. But having some hook it's a theoretic experiment to be able to use other CMS themes in TYPO3. Hi Ian, you should simply use the upload button in the filemodule. If you want to do this in a program, you should take a look in the fal_webdav extension it should have all needed code. Hello Robert, i also know a bunch of providers who behave this way. I recently configured / built a software to detect old software to ensure, that not a single customer installation is hacked. As TYPO3 4.2 is really outdated i understand the arguments. Imagine a code injection, which allows the maintainer of a bot net to send mails or attack other systems. Therefore +1 for the provider. It's also ok to give you some time to do the update :D I recently had a support request from a customer (new one with canceled support agreement) running a root server in canada @ 11 hosting. The system was not updated since 2005 and the php shopping system installed got hacked and was used to to a 1Gbit/s attack against google. 11 blocked the system in 1 minute after the initialization - which is in my opionion a good solution! Anyway now they signed a new support agreement :D So be happy to have a provider which is taking care of his environment. Hello guys, i set up my first solr :D - It's mostly working. I Index 3 TYPO3 Installations into one core to search them all and my facets are working properly in the solr web console. Sadly i can't figure out how to do a multidomain search in TYPO3, like i can do in the solr webconsole. I use the latest ext:solr and TYPO3 4.5.26. I setup plugin.tx_solr.search.query.allowedSites which (if empty) manipulates the search result. How do I tell solr to show results from the other hosts as well? Hi, what about simply using 2 states (better than rating). +1 -1 This way it's boolean and we can simply show the 2 numbers for each type of vote. Additionally i would like to see a simply contact form, if the voter decided for bad - not working. This way we simply have 2 unjudged numbers vor each version. Hi Francesc, there are atleast two places where this can be defined :D 1. in the installtool you also have a denied file extension list + the place you mentioned 2. in the extension tca it's possible to define, which files are supported. Hello Tomasz, there is a different between TYPO3 4.5 and 6.0! http://wiki.typo3.org/Xclass It's important, that prior 6.0 each class needs the xclass loop. In 6.0 you may use the autoloading mechanism for xclassing ;) Xclassing is only working if you use t3lib_div::makeInstance. Xclasses are ignored by new. In the reports module you should find a list of your defined xclasses. Ensure a proper ext_autoload file! Hello Mitja, the speeddifference in php 5.3.3 and 5.4 is because of a new Classloader and many bugs in the class aliasing in older releases (i wonder why php 5.3.3 runs ;)) If TYPO3 backend is still slow, please take a look into apc, or a similar bytecode cache, increase the cache memory to get a hit rate in the near of 100% (typically 99%). Hello Dawid, that sounds like disabled cache mmhmmm, please check your TS, Installtool and extensions, that you do not use disable cache anywhere. Additionally i suggest you to use nc_staticfilecache to store the cached data directly in the filesystem. Hello Ralf-Rene, mhmm, i missed, that this was an extension in one of my installations. It can be done with a hook and a similar functionality like it's done in tt_news and the editlock field.
