[Bug 735297] Re: Can not print on an SMB shared printer after password change
OK I now see what is happening. I commented out the AuthInfoRequired line but I still get the problem. The issue is that the follow me line still has the old password and it will not update it automatically after prompted even when I click the Remember Password option. That explains why it works when deleted. All entries are erased and recreated when the new printer is created. But for whatever reason it cannot update the password to an existing printer. [Bug 718870] Re: [sandybridge] GPU lockup (IPEHR: 0x680b0000)
Maybe I have another bug, but the kernels mentioned in #4 and #5 do not behave any better. Whole machine hangs during the first minute after logon to KDE. With those two kernels it's so hanged I can't switch terminal and so can't see the error message. Even SysRq doesn't work. [Bug 733766] Re: Date does not update in Clock in Panel in Unity
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 721572 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/721572 Thanks, Alex. I'd be happy to help, if you can tell me which repository I should enable to get the new version of Unity. My 10.10 system is up to date with the current released or stable code. I've run apt-get update, apt-get upgrade, and apt-get dist-upgrade since installing from the Netbook Edition .iso. I assume I'll need to enable a testing or dev repository or the Ubuntu equivalents to get a newer version of Unity. One problem I've noticed with communications regarding bugs on various Linux OS projects is often what developers consider old code is actually the current released or stable reposititory code. Devs are usually a step or two ahead of the typical user reporting a bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/733766 Title: Date does not update in Clock in Panel in Unity -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 170225] Re: relative image paths instead of absolute
@~suv - The image in your document uses href directly, and not xlink;href as expected. [Bug 599017] Re: [gm45] Xorg freeze on Firefox on one particular page
Confirmed to be with the kernel drm. With the maverick-lts-backport kernel, we cannot reproduce the crash. Of course, it is non- deterministic, so there is always the possibility that the bug is still there, only less frequent. But after 50 refreshes of the offending page and no crash, we are pretty confident! :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/599017 Title: [gm45] Xorg freeze on Firefox on one particular page -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 405116] Re: hpcups driver of HPLIP has broken margins
Adding CUPS task as the pdftopdf filter does not respect the RequiresPageRegion attribute in the PPDs. The next CUPS package in Natty will add upstream fixes for the PDF filters including this one. ** Also affects: cups (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: cups (Ubuntu) Status: New = In Progress ** Changed in: cups (Ubuntu) Milestone: None = ubuntu-11.04-beta-1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/405116 Title: hpcups driver of HPLIP has broken margins -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 723016] Re: [FFe] Please merge new upstream release 1.6.7-1 from Debian Unstable
Maybe you should consider using version 1.7.0-2. This version now uses libudev instead of libhal. So the only remaining difference is the more of the libpcsclite.so.1 library from /usr/lib to /lib Also note that wpasupplicant in Debian experimental now loads libpcsclite.so.1 dynamically when needed. So no need to move libpcsclite.so.1 in /lib anymore. With this change the Ubuntu package should just be the same as the Debian one. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/723016 Title: [FFe] Please merge new upstream release 1.6.7-1 from Debian Unstable -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
