[Bug 853950] Re: ath9k disassociates when scanning
Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report on this issue. However, given the number of bugs that the Kernel Team receives during any development cycle it is impossible for us to review them all. Therefore, we occasionally resort to using automated bots to request further testing. This is such a request. We have noted that there is a newer version of the development kernel than the one you last tested when this issue was found. Please test again with the newer kernel and indicate in the bug if this issue still exists or not. If the bug still exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Confirmed. If the bug no longer exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Fix Released. Thank you for your help, we really do appreciate it. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Incomplete ** Tags added: kernel-request-3.0.0-12.19 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/853950 Title: ath9k disassociates when scanning To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/853950/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 858092] [NEW] Un-reviewed applications from a PPA have 1 star and 1 review
Public bug reported: I noticed this related to Photobomb in an article about Software Center. This obviously puts application developers at a significant disadvantage. I checked MyApps and it also showed that Photobomb was unreviewed. I think the only reason that Photobomb is showing up is that I added it from my PPA, though, in which case, maybe it shouldn't have any stars. It is inappropriate, and frankly rude, to close a bug without explaining the reason why you are doing it. In the Ubuntu community we encourage polite and respectful discussion. The first contact any reporter usually has with the Ubuntu community is through a bug triager, who tries to put together a complete bug report. [Bug 858102] [NEW] cgroup service prevents VMWare services stopping
Public bug reported: I recently discovered that I could not update VMWare Player - the phase of the uninstall that stops the existing services would hang and eventually the whole system would require a power reset. System would also hang on shutdown under normal operation. Uninstalling cgroup-bin libcgroup1 fixes both these issues. I have set up cgroups on my 10.04 system as per: http://www.webupd8.org/2010/11/alternative-to-200-lines-kernel- patch.html and this seemed to be working fine until I discovered this issue recently when the 2.6.32-34 kernel was made available.
