I tried the new upstream from the PPA, but it's not working. I mean, there are some fixes and I think it works better, but still the mp3 cds I burnt are full of the mp3 i chose, with some of them unreadable and others readable but with many lags..to verify that, I tried with 3 different mp3 stereo and with the same result..I tried also with Xfburn, no problem with the burning process, but after that I can't even mount the cd, because the device seems empty..k3b gives an error starting the burning process.. don't know what else to do..please try to help.. [Bug 903422] Re: Mount / Provide access to Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich, ICS) MTP devices
I got a Motorola Xoom 2 (European edition with HoneyComb 3.2) and with Ubuntu 12.04, it doesn't automount automatically. I just managed to upload files on it using GMTP, but it's kind of buggy. After I launch GMTP and open Nautilus, it shows me the new device, but, if I click on its icon, I always have a system error. [Bug 963720] Re: CPU benchmark test problem
I launched the System testing app. At beginning, it prompted me to insert my admin password and then I launched all the possible tests..some of them, such as the CPU test which launches offlining_test, failed and in the report it was written that there were no sufficient permissions to execute that test..but at the moment that the cpu/offlining_test failed, it suggested me to send a bug report and so I did it.. [Bug 797667] [NEW] content assist pop-up (shown using the mouse pointer, not Ctrl-Shift-I ) is not resizable
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: eclipse I' m using eclipse 3.5 with Ubuntu 11.04 and I have this problem that is a really annoying problem for a developer that uses eclipse in ubuntu for 10 hours a day.. :) when you inspect a variable leaving for some time the mouse pointer over it, the content assist popup shows up small and it is not resizable; if I inspect the variable with Ctrl-Shift-I, the windows is shown bigger and it's resizable. this is a weird behaviour that forces everyone to do Ctrl-Shift-I every time they want to inspect a variable; there is a bug about it between the eclipse bugs: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=23980 this bug is solved in eclipse 3.6; I suggest to update eclipse packages, if not for Natty, for Oneiric at least. the last trick (#18) was to solve the error for the command apt-add- repository.. to solve the apt-get update error, I did this.. sudo gedit /etc/apt/apt.conf and there I fixed the proxy lines like this..
