[Bug 165865] Re: markers must take object's stroke color (SVG 1.2 feature)
Successfully reproduced this bug in 0.47 pre-release as downloaded from Bryce's link. I've attached a screenshot. To reproduce, draw a square filled with any color, set it as a pattern, then make a larger rectangle-shape and fill with that pattern. As you move the pattern-filled object and/or resize it, small seams appear. This also shows up in exported images. Screenshot attached. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot-New document 1 - Inkscape.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/28743905/Screenshot-New%20document%201%20-%20Inkscape.png -- markers must take object's stroke color (SVG 1.2 feature) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/165865 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 385801] Re: "Write in this folder" is confusing terminology
Chow, I think your screenshot has it about right. I like the way you've changed where "Comments" appears. As for exact wording, David's "Allow others to change folder contents" also works, and perhaps "Allow others to modify folder contents" might be another alternative. I don't really have a preference, personally. -- "Write in this folder" is confusing terminology https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385801 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 385801] [NEW] "Write in this folder" is confusing terminology
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus-share **Not a duplicate of #258900.** The use of "write in this folder" in the "allow other people to write in this folder" option can be confusing for users. Perhaps a better way to put it is "make changes in this folder." The verb "to write" has several meanings, hurting the user's ability to understand this feature at an abstract level. Further, using the word "Comment" as part of this option seems to complicate the situation. See attached screenshot. [Bug 148070] Re: KeyJnote failing Error: pdftoppm produced an unreadable file (page 1)
This is quite a bug! It took me a while to figure out what was happening, because KeyJNote is just broken. I didn't know what a .patch file was until I tried the "patch" command...so, if you want to download Martin's patch above, and try it, go to the folder where you've installed KeyJNote (I did a manual install from the KeyJNote site, just out of let's-see-ishness) and type: patch keyjnote.py keyjnote_v10.0.patch Then run KeyJNote again and it should work.
