[Bug 199116] Re: Can not send 'Ctrl+Alt+Del'
Steve, I discussed this issue already with seb128 on #ubuntu-devel and he said it was ok to get this fix in SRU before it is done in intrepid. Following are the two major reasons. 1. The bug is a regression from last Ubuntu version. xvncviewer had an option to send Ctrl + Alt + Del to server and this is necessary for Windows login when connected over VNC. 2. The fix will not be available in Vinagre release in GNOME 2.22.2. Instead it will be available in 2.23.x. So it will not get in Hardy with the sync/merge of GNOME 2.22.2. Apart from this, should we really expect anyone to test Intrepid so early in the development cycle, assuming that vinagre will be updated with this fix within a month? bluez-utils is a package in main, not universe. The package requires a merge as there are some changes on ubuntu side. Hi all, I myself don't have a bluetooth mouse/keyboard so I can't comment about the functionality. As per what I have heard the hidd, pand binaries are not needed anymore. But there doesn't seem to be a clear explanation as to how to make mouse/keyboard work with new methods. [Bug 203612] Re: Screens Graphics menu item in wrong section
I can create a debdiff for this. But I need confirmation on two things. 1. The second last changelog entry says 'Disable displayconfig-gtk in menus (replaced by Screen Resolution tool)', which obviously has not happened. 2. The .desktop file contains following entries: Categories= NotShowIn=KDE; I think instead of that it should have entries, Categories=appropriate entry NoDisplay=true So first thing is whether we should 'really not display' this tool by default. A decision is to be made here for which I don't have authority. Adding back category is not a major problem. [Bug 193386] Re: Feature Freeze Exception for glassfishv2ur1
Can you please take a look at existing packages glassfish-* packages in Ubuntu and tell us if this is just an upgrade? It looks like we are carrying old version of glassfish-bin, sunwderby and imq (1.0.1) but everything else has been upgraded to some prerelease of 2ur1 (2+b58g-2). I believe that you should first try changing the source of glassfish-* (2+b58g) to create a glassfish-bin and glassfish. And then try upgrading this package to latest version, 2ur1 in this case. Unless you are tying to have parallely installable packages with different root folders, you should remove v2ur1 from package names. [Bug 198320] Re: Not so useful descriptions for campaign packages
The descriptions that are shown while starting a campaign can be found in the campaign's _main.cfg file at the path /usr/share/games/wesnoth/data/campaigns/campaign_name/_main.cfg For example I found this for 'Tale of Two Brothers' * An evil mage is threatening the local village and its inhabitants. When their leader Bjarn sends for aid from his brother Arne, he is victorious, but Bjarn himself is kidnapped. Can you rescue him? (Novice level, 4 scenarios; the 'Hard' version may challenge more experienced players.) * I would have forwarded to Debian but unfortunately I don't have access to gmail which is my primary email address. -- Not so useful descriptions for campaign packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198320 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 196239] Re: Enable Browse device again when gvfs gets released again
Someone needs to test the new obex backend before dropping the patch that disabled 'Browse Device...' ion last upload. [Bug 191704] Re: hidd binary removed form bluez-utils package unable to connect as a result
@paul, 'Browse Device' is not for bluetooth input devices. It is for browsing phones/pda. And even in that case it doesn't work because nautilus does not use gnome-vfs anymore and the extension that is supposed to let you 'Browse Device' is not yet ported. @Michael, I guess you meant to say 'bluez-gnome' instead of 'gnome-bluetooth'. @Ryan, I have no idea if fluxbox provides any panel. But xfce does and you should be easily able to install bluez-gnome because it is a panel applet using GTK+ and is not dependent on GNOME (even if the names suggests so). -- hidd binary removed form bluez-utils package unable to connect as a result https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 190405] Re: please upgrade bluez-gnome to 0.18
Now that obex-data-server is in 'New' queue, I have tried packaging the latest bluez-gnome version 0.21 and also done some marginal testing (pairing and PC-to-phone transfer via the 'Send file ...' menu in applet). I hope Baptiste you don't mind me hijacking your work. :-) Please note that even though package builds it will not be installed unless obex-data-server is accepted from the 'New' queue and makes way to repository. I had done a manual installation. Also someone will have to make a 'Main Inclusion Report' for it so that it gets included on CD. I have added a patch to disable the menu item 'Browse Device ...' until gome-vfs-obexftp is ported to gvfs. The dependency on gnome-vfs-obexftp is still there in the hope that it will work in near future. Please find attached .diff.gz. Comments/suggestions welcome. ** Attachment added: bluez-gnome_0.21-0ubuntu1.diff.gz http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12086446/bluez-gnome_0.21-0ubuntu1.diff.gz ** Changed in: bluez-gnome (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed -- please upgrade bluez-gnome to 0.18 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190405 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
