[Bug 251402] Re: safe remove usb flash drive message
It is only supposed to appear if the unmounting takes longer than 0.7 seconds? Why? People might wait to take the device out before they see a Message which tells them that it is save. If no Data will be written, they will wait a long time and maybe they won't wait a next time after that - corrupt Data - Linux = bad because ist destoys data on a usb-device (or something like that) If no Data will be written, it is save to remove the device, isn't it? [Bug 215356] Re: Problems with screen resolutions and two Monitors
in xorg.0.log you can see, the second monitor seems to be detecet as a [EMAIL PROTECTED] (max.) but still it would set the resolution at 1280x768. It it no widescreen monitor so this must be wrong. -- Problems with screen resolutions and two Monitors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215356 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 219271] [NEW] Hardy - removable device
Public bug reported: If I unmount a removable device (f.a. usb-stick) then the message The device is now safe to remove doesn't always appear. It might only appear if data have to be written to the device, but it should always inform the user when the device has been unmounted, I think. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Hardy - removable device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219271 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
